Squid Ink Fish and Chives Steamed Dumplings - unique and flavorful -- good dipped in chili oil
    Sidonie D.

For a brand new restaurant, Dancing Dumplings is already busy and popular. Had a quick lunch here today and were pleasantly surprised at how nice, calm and tastefully decorated it is inside. Everything we ordered were tasty but really just okay. Braised Beef noodle soup, chicken and mushroom steamed dumplings and squid ink fish and the chives steamed dumplings. The dumplings were betterdipped in chili oil. The soup could actually be served hotter and the dumplings were good but can't compare to the delicately thin superior Tim Ho Wan restaurant's dumpling wrapper -- but then again, we still haven't found anything similar that can compare. We may return if we want something quick but it won't be our first choice.

I give it three thumbs up. Food, service, ambiance were all great! We'll be returning to try other dishes.

The restaurant is newly opened, the inside is clean and spacious. The spicy wontons were one of my favorites. I expected them to be a lot spicier, but the flavor was still really good and I enjoyed every bite. The pan fried pork buns were also delicious. They were soft and juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of crispiness on the bottom. Definitely a great combination of textures. Don't forget to get the big mouth pancake w/ beef. The meat was tender and delicious. The coriander fish dumpling and the squid ink fish & chives dumplings were so good. It doesn't taste fishy at all. Just enough flavor and you can tell it's freshly made. But the Black Gold Lava Buns were the highlight for me! The salted egg yolk flavor was amazing, rich, savory, and really satisfying. I would definitely come back just for these. Overall, great food, nice atmosphere, and a really clean and modern space. The service was fast and nice. The lady in the kitchen came to us to ask how the food was. She was very pleasant . Definitely a spot I'd visit again!

Both dishes were amazing. Noodles were al dente not soggy. I topped the dumplings with a dab of spicy oil. Made a world of difference. Service was very friendly and innocent. The place holds a quiet atmosphere. Took some lava buns to go. I figured if the food was this good, I don't want to miss out on dessert.

Everything is so nice about this little place in Summerlin Boca Park, nice food, nice renovation, nice service. You gotta have to try beef shank and big mouth pancake, best Chinese food you can find in Vegas

Finally there is a good noodle place at Summerlin! It's good portion and price, I would recommend it.

Food was delicious per usual. My family enjoys the food and flavor is very consistent. My dad was in town for 2-3 weeks and we ate here at least 2-3x. Service was great but I felt bad for our server because it was a busy Saturday night and he was waiting on us with an assistant but also waiting on at least half of the main dining room as well. He did a good job, but it felt a bit chaotic in the small private space as food kept coming in but the tables were already full. Their Hokkaido cheesecake is so good that I ordered a full cake for my mom's birthday a week in advance. Everyone loved the cake and they were fighting for seconds.

He was defensive and passive-aggressive, with several clearly sarcastic/dismissive lines. To clarify, I ordered crispy beef and egg fried rice for pickup. I understand that fried food can lose its crispiness during takeout, which is why I didn't make a huge issue out of the beef being soggy. My bigger issue was the egg fried rice. What I received was essentially white rice with pieces of egg. When I mentioned that it looked and tasted nothing like the egg fried rice pictured on their online ordering site, the business manager responded that he wasn't sure what else they were supposed to put in egg fried rice besides "eggs and white rice." although the site clearly shows green onions. He also suggested that I order the house combo if I wanted more ingredients. That's not really the point--I ordered egg fried rice, not a house combo, and expected the item to resemble what was advertised. As for the soup, I understand that it is hot and sour soup, not sweet and sour soup. My review was about the fact that I personally found the taste unpleasant, not that I expected it to be sweet and sour. The response also suggested that my crispy beef became soggy because of the time between pickup and eating. However, I picked it up, drove approximately three minutes back to the hotel, and ate it immediately. I had also already waited past my original pickup time because the order was pushed back. I don't expect every restaurant to be perfect, and I understand that takeout food can differ from dining in. What bothered me more was the response to legitimate criticism. Rather than acknowledging the discrepancy between what was advertised and what I received.
