The pasta was very creamy and enjoyed the flavor. As someone who loves steak and is picky with how I receive it, I had ordered a porterhouse Medium Rare, the first one we received was overcooked to medium well and our server second guessed me when I brought it to attention. He had to call over another worker to double check and we had to ask once again if we were able to get it redone to our liking before even getting it replaced right away. The second porterhouse we received was done correctly and was seasoned well and had enough fat to make it buttery and melty. Espresso Martini was made well and for Whiskey Sours, if you like them on the smokier side, I would recommend it. All in all, we enjoyed all the food but the only set back for us was that we had to wait a little longer for our steak which we wanted to pair with our pasta. By the time it came out correctly, our pasta was already cold.

We arrived right when they opened (perfect timing, especially with a snowstorm expected later that day), so the restaurant was still quiet. The space has a modern, upscale vibe that definitely feels suited for special occasions. It's located on a busy street, and while they do offer valet, we lucked out with free street parking since it was early. They offer a prix fixe brunch for $39 per person, which includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. It's a good way to experience the restaurant without committing to a full dinner price point--but be aware that quite a few items come with upcharges, and drinks are not included, so the bill can climb quickly. I do have a gluten allergy, and I was honestly surprised by how limited the gluten-free options were for a restaurant of this caliber. That said, I made it work: I started with a Bellini, had the sizzling slab of bacon as my appetizer, the recovery burger (no bun sub roasted potatoes as a side) as my main, and finished with the salted caramel gelato. Everything I had was enjoyable, but I would have appreciated more flexibility in the menu. The rest of the group (no dietary restrictions) had more variety to choose from and really enjoyed their meals, which is always a good sign. Service was attentive without being overbearing--likely helped by the fact that it wasn't too crowded yet--so we were able to relax and actually enjoy conversation, which made the celebration feel special. The restaurant also has a private back room that looks great for parties, plus a downstairs lounge area, which adds to its appeal as an event space. Overall, for me it's definitely more of a special occasion spot, and while the pricing is on the higher side for what you get, brunch feels like the best way to experience it. I'd come back again--but probably stick to brunch.

We started with the three-color causa (traditional, pesto, and beet), each topped differently. The flavors were well balanced and thoughtfully put together. The mixed ceviche was fresh and bright, with a citrus note that really brought everything together. The choros a la chalaca were generous and nicely balanced between the flavor of the sea and acidity. I especially appreciated that they offer chifa cuisine (Peruvian-Chinese fusion), which you don't see everywhere in Bergen County. The tallarín chifa was well executed and full of flavor, and the tipakay added a great sweet and crispy contrast. Overall, a solid experience and definitely worth visiting if you enjoy Peruvian food in the area.

The steak was tender, ALL of it! Usually when I get steak, i get nervous cuz a lot of places wont trim their steak accordingly, and pieces of fat and gristle get through to the final plate. not this one! I was able to enjoy eeeevery piece! I found myself saying "that lomo was so good" in anguish cuz i knew i wouldnt be able to find anything similarly tasty and quality where i normally live!!! will definitely come back given the chance!

I'm used to getting ravioli from an Italian Superstore that's dotted across Long Island. Good? Yeah maybe but what I grew up with? Nah. I'm in The Bronx and I'm going to stop at Borgatti's Ravioli for our Sunday dinner. Walking into the store, it's very small. There are high glass partitions, no touching just pointing. I see the various pastas and ravioli but I want the big suckas. Small ravioli? C'Mon! I made the best red sauce that I will drown these raviolis in a sea of tomatoes. The small raviolis just can't swim in my pot! The older gentleman behind the counter asks if he can help me. I ask him to open the box and actually show me the larger ravioli. Oh baby, they are large and in charge. Why I walked out with one box still boggles my mind because I should have bought 3. I'm not in the area too often and the extra boxes would have carried me through the winter. I hand over my cash and the gentleman says God Bless to me. I'm not getting blessings on Long Island! When I came home, my wife made the perfect Sunday dinner. Those raviolis came straight from the 70s. Simply perfect. God Bless us, everyone.

Typically not a big "restaurant at a hotel food guy" but the experience and food here we're both pretty good. There's a nice choice of seating if you prefer a bar experience or a sit down restaurant experience. We chose to sit down restaurant experience. Our waiter was very friendly and quite attentive. After mulling over the menu we were set for dinner. My colleague had the fillet mignon, medium rare with mushroom and Bolognese sauce. I got the rigatoni with eggplant. The dinner starts out with two rolls and butter. Be sure to ask for a choice of rolls as it appears, there are three or four different options to choose from. They were OK, not warm, a bit on the stale side. My colleague enjoyed the steak saying it was tender and filling. It was juicy and had a lot of flavor to it. The overall feedback was positive. My rigatoni was Al Dante, perfect! The red sauce was just right. Not too sweet nor too tangy. There was a fair amount of eggplant and balls of mozzarella cheese. I added Parmesan cheese sprinkled on the top. Every bit of my meal was eaten. Not all meals include a salad. The filet did include a salad. I had to get a side salad. The salads were a bit small and lacking variety but overall OK. Overall this restaurant is a good choice.

The menu isn't massive, but they cover every category with extreme precision and do it really well. Seafood, pasta, veal, chicken, and all the classic appetizers you can think of from stuffed artichokes, zucchini blossoms, and house-made burrata. The ambiance is old-school Italian in the best way: timeless, romantic, and cozy. It works just as well for an intimate date night as it does for a small group dinner. Bonus points for being BYOB. We ordered the veal marsala and the seafood pomodoro. The veal was pounded to perfection and swimming in a ridiculously addictive sauce. The seafood pasta was cooked perfectly and loaded with fresh shrimp, clams, and mussels and you can taste the quality and care put in the food. Meals are served with a salad to start, and you can expect to spend around $35 per entrée, which feels more than fair for the quality. We were genuinely impressed and were treated with a lot of attention throughout the meal. The concept of the restaurant being run by two italian twins was honestly so sweet. Highly recommend if you're looking for classic Italian done right without trekking into the city.
