If you're a parent and care about your child's safety, I wouldn't recommend enrolling at this gym!…read moreI'm writing this review not just as a parent who pays $150 per month for my membership with childcare, but also as a school director myself ,and a mandated Oregon State child safety reporter. Before posting this review, I have tried contacting the owner several times about child safety -- with no response. Here are a couple of child safety issues I have observed: -- Instance #1: About two months ago on a week night, a one and a half year old ran out from the kids center. And due to short staffing, it wasn't noticed by staff members. Luckily, I stopped the child from running out to the gym floor. When I brought this to the director's attention, (Cindy), she said that it never happened because the cameras didn't see it happen. Scoffing and rolling her eyes. She then got back on her tablet, and ignored me. --Instance #2: The child care was short staffed. When this happens, they put the older kids with the infants/toddlers. On a few of those instances, other parents and I, have seen the older kids hurt the smaller children (violently at times). After witnessing this, I tried to find the Director and she was no where to be found. She was on "Break". -- Instance #3: Last night (4/7/26) at roughly 5:15 pm. There was one staff member to probably 20 kids. I tried to talk to the director. Once again, she rudely rolled her eyes at me. Then her and the front desk girl started laughing and mocking me. And said within earshot, "What's her f**** problem". Hopefully after posting this review the, child safety issues are addressed. And the employee culture as well. ***Review update: The owner finally contacted me, and he said all the right things. I will update the review further if changes regarding the safety issues and toxic employee culture are truly addressed. ***

We, joined Snap Gresham in November of 2022 and were required to pay a deposit of $25, for a scan…read morecard to get into the building since it's not always staffed. We were told it would be refunded when the card was returned. However, when we canceled our membership in, September of 2025 we were told that their policy is to give seniors (insurance-paid membership) back only $12. Talking to other members leaving the gym, some were told that seniors don't get any deposit refunded and others, although it took a couple of months, said they did get the full amount. When I informed Snap that Medicare would start paying for my membership, they informed me, as did Silver Sneakers, that I would pay nothing not even the yearly maintenance fee. This was true for 2 years. But in 2024 a charged of $35 showed up on my card. After getting Silver Sneakers involved I was finally able to get the money back. My husband was charged in 2025, and the owner, instead of admitting that seniors do not have to pay the maintenance fee, she stated why they charge the fee. He ended up disputing the charge with the credit card company and got the money back. They also put in a new rule that if seniors don't use the gym enough times each month (the number of times depends on which insurance program you have), you will be charged. For the first couple years, all was well. The class was made up of mostly seniors who wanted an intense workout. The instructors were friendly, caring, professional and knowledgeable, they gave us the push we needed to do our best. Always taking into account our abilities and correcting our form when needed. This was enough to keep us coming. In March 2025 they made a change to move the circuit class we were doing on Fridays to inside the classroom. Reasons we were given"to benefit the current and future members as well as staying relevant." Not sure what that means. The class was not the same when moved into a room. Ironically, during our last month they moved the same circuit class back out on the floor, only this time it will be a pay-to-use class. No mention of what the price will be. Unfortunately, instructors, format, and classes have been changed or canceled. We moved to a different gym that is... transparent, treated with respect by owners/staff and has more amenities for a lower price. So, for all the reasons above we can't recommend Snap Fitness anymore.

I am so thrilled to be back at the gym. I waited until I was fully vaccinated to return. The gym…read moreis doing a wonderful job of maintaining a safe environment. Everyone wears a mask at all times, wipes the equipment after every use, and often before they use it. There is plenty of room for social distancing and equipment has been removed from use which also creates distance. It is great to have a place to exercise and to be able to get out of the house. The staff also cleans and monitors the equipment. Thanks 24 Hour Fitness!

I've been going to this gym for about a month now and was hoping my experience would be different…read morethan others. Unfortunately not the case. The equipment here feels old. A couple of machines have been broken since before I joined and still are after a month and a half. For me it's the cleanliness. The floors are always very dirty (dust, debris, etc) both in the locker room and the workout areas. This is somewhat surprising as I see cleaners working every time I'm there. The paper towel dispensers are often empty or broken. The spray bottles, while full, often struggle to spray. I mainly go to use the pool. The pool area itself seems cleaner and the pool looks to be clean as well. I haven't used the sauna, steam room, studio, basketball court, or spin studio; but as I've peaked in to a few of them, they appear to be clean and in good condition. I will keep coming here out of proximity for pool use, but wouldn't if not for that.
