Although we do not (currently) possess a membership, we were invited to our son's friend's birthday party here over the weekend, and after seeing all of the features and services offered here, there's a solid possibility of that changing in the very near future! Multiple gyms, courts (indoor and outdoor), pools (again, indoor and outdoor), splash pads and water features, cafés (indoor and...you guessed it: outdoor!) serving surprisingly decent food and drinks for...surprisingly affordable prices! Beer, wine, cider, and non-alcoholic drinks available pool side, as well as pizza, hot dogs, chips, salsa, quesadillas, ice cream (Dippin' deez Dots!) and other light snacks. A grill next to the splash pad's entrance gate can be rented for birthdays and similar events. Our boys (all four of them, including our newborn, who had his first ever pool swim here!) had a complete blast in the outdoor water park. We spent a good three+ hours during the party, and they never tired of it; if they weren't eating burgers, hot dogs or cake, they were in the pool, making liberal use of the water slide, or frolicking about among the springs, sprinklers and other water features. I'm not sure if they offer a day-use pass for non-members, but I am very tempted to find out, try it out, and if the rest of the features are as spectacular as the water park, a family membership is likely in the cards. It's a little out of the way, but rarely have I before encountered such a clean, extensive, comprehensive, and family-friendly establishment, with this many attractions, all in one campus. Fantastic facility, all around! A veritable temple of fitness that would make Hermes proud!

    Gym ceiling

Update: 3 months later the ceiling is still leaking and the entire upstairs smells like poop and mold. Maintenance here and the owner is an absolute joke. I pay 120 dollars a month to get dirty water dripped on me and inhale mold. SAVE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT COME HERE.

Ask the Community - Cascade Athletic Clubs

Seriously, what are the membership fees? Is there a discount for couples. It's there a month-month option?

Hi Scott. I'm sorry we do not monitor Yelp so not on top of answers. We do provide a discount for couples - there are also multiple types of memberships to choose from. We would be happy to provide clarity on all of this through text, email, phone… Read more

How much per month for a membership?

There are several membership programs. Options include individual , family, senior, and, some people even obtain a free membership with their Medicare enrollment. You should check it out! Best club in Portland Metro.

We were told it would be refunded when the card was returned. However, when we canceled our membership in, September of 2025 we were told that their policy is to give seniors (insurance-paid membership) back only $12. Talking to other members leaving the gym, some were told that seniors don't get any deposit refunded and others, although it took a couple of months, said they did get the full amount. When I informed Snap that Medicare would start paying for my membership, they informed me, as did Silver Sneakers, that I would pay nothing not even the yearly maintenance fee. This was true for 2 years. But in 2024 a charged of $35 showed up on my card. After getting Silver Sneakers involved I was finally able to get the money back. My husband was charged in 2025, and the owner, instead of admitting that seniors do not have to pay the maintenance fee, she stated why they charge the fee. He ended up disputing the charge with the credit card company and got the money back. They also put in a new rule that if seniors don't use the gym enough times each month (the number of times depends on which insurance program you have), you will be charged. For the first couple years, all was well. The class was made up of mostly seniors who wanted an intense workout. The instructors were friendly, caring, professional and knowledgeable, they gave us the push we needed to do our best. Always taking into account our abilities and correcting our form when needed. This was enough to keep us coming. In March 2025 they made a change to move the circuit class we were doing on Fridays to inside the classroom. Reasons we were given"to benefit the current and future members as well as staying relevant." Not sure what that means. The class was not the same when moved into a room. Ironically, during our last month they moved the same circuit class back out on the floor, only this time it will be a pay-to-use class. No mention of what the price will be. Unfortunately, instructors, format, and classes have been changed or canceled. We moved to a different gym that is... transparent, treated with respect by owners/staff and has more amenities for a lower price. So, for all the reasons above we can't recommend Snap Fitness anymore.
