Everyone wears a mask at all times, wipes the equipment after every use, and often before they use it. There is plenty of room for social distancing and equipment has been removed from use which also creates distance. It is great to have a place to exercise and to be able to get out of the house. If you glance down from the machine you're using, you'll see what looks to be several month's worth of sweat, body dander and whatever else drops off people's bodies when they workout. Whoever is cleaning the floors, appear to be skipping over these areas and the amount of buildup is disgusting. 24HR Gresham - if you're reading this, please clean these areas of the floor as well! Second concern, and I'm sure it's not unique to 24HR Fitness but way there are too many people working out that on their phones, often sitting or standing by a machine, scrolling for several minutes on their phone, preventing anyone else from using the equipment. I have on more than one occasion, asked the person if I could work in or use it, but recently one person on their phone defiantly said they still have a couple sets left. There's gym etiquette and there's phone etiquette, and for the most part the majority of gym goers understand that we're all sharing the same space and equipment. We all like to spend time on our phones nowadays, but please, not at the expense of someone else's time.

Before posting this review, I have tried contacting the owner several times about child safety -- with no response. Here are a couple of child safety issues I have observed: -- Instance #1: About two months ago on a week night, a one and a half year old ran out from the kids center. And due to short staffing, it wasn't noticed by staff members. Luckily, I stopped the child from running out to the gym floor. When I brought this to the director's attention, (Cindy), she said that it never happened because the cameras didn't see it happen. Scoffing and rolling her eyes. She then got back on her tablet, and ignored me. --Instance #2: The child care was short staffed. When this happens, they put the older kids with the infants/toddlers. On a few of those instances, other parents and I, have seen the older kids hurt the smaller children (violently at times). After witnessing this, I tried to find the Director and she was no where to be found. She was on "Break". -- Instance #3: Last night (4/7/26) at roughly 5:15 pm. There was one staff member to probably 20 kids. I tried to talk to the director. Once again, she rudely rolled her eyes at me. Then her and the front desk girl started laughing and mocking me. And said within earshot, "What's her f**** problem". Hopefully after posting this review the, child safety issues are addressed. And the employee culture as well. ***Review update: The owner finally contacted me, and he said all the right things. I will update the review further if changes regarding the safety issues and toxic employee culture are truly addressed. ***

People of all races, religions, body shapes, and fitness expertise coming together to encourage and support one another. Our society is so segregated that it's refreshing to workout at 182nd. The best part is Mo (he's the fitness staff person who greets you); he really should be a manager. He keeps the place spotless. I've seen him training other staff... I can only hope that people in administration learn his skills. Anyway, his attitude and hospitality is what seems to have helped form a community instead of just a place where people go. I like the massage chairs, hydro massage, and total body red light/shaking therapy machine. The black card is worth it people. It just is. What surprised me the most is the epic form of a lot of the weight lifters. There are a lot of ex-athletes and coaches, people using AI trainers on their phones. It's not just for occasional exercisers. And people are really friendly. I don't know if the higher ups read these, but SERIOUSLY do all you can to keep (and challenge) Mo. He's heads above anyone else you've had working here.

There has been two TV's not functional for at least 2 weeks and nobody I have asked can provide any updates. I'm glad I don't pay for the black card membership as I understand the red-light room has been closed for at least a month (I was told it just reopened recently) and the tanning beds are hit or miss as well. The number of machines that have out of order signs on them is ridiculous. I have not personally observed anyone working on anything.
