    Stir fried squid
    Destiny P.

Seafood pancake was great and was filled with plenty of seafood. The squid was good too but on the spicy side so if you have a low spice tolerance then maybe try something different. Waiters were all very nice and helpful! The restaurant was relatively quiet mid-day. Keep in mind, it might be a little difficult to find the restaurant because it's in the corner of the complex.

Dami was SO GOOD! It's a little ways a way from the other Korean places in Carrollton, but OMG their food was amazing! We got the spicy squid stir fry (오징어 뽂음) which was a generous portion, and the spicy beef soup (육개장). Side dishes were delicious, and especially the hot sipping broth (육수). Worth the drive and wish I discovered it sooner!

    Skate Fish Jjim

Cute Korean restaurant in Carrollton! I really loved my experience here. The banchan are all delicious and fresh. They serve a complimentary soup that is very flavorful as well. Friendly staff!! We started with the Seafood Pancake which was good! Crispy fried outer layer with chewier "pancake" and seafood. It tasted pretty standard to other Korean restaurants' seafood pancakes. I would highly recommend the Spicy Galbi Jjim. I enjoyed that the beef short ribs are fall off the bone tender. They are also soaked in this sticky sweet, slightly spicy sauce. I am not the biggest fan of sweet/salty so this would have been perfect if it was less sweet. I also was highly recommend the Skate Fish Jjim. I was honestly very pleasantly surprised by this dish. This was my first time trying skate fish and I love it! It's not a super briny/fishy-tasting fish. This sauce was so flavorful, with great umami savoriness that paired super well with rice and the banchans. The tofu combined with the radish and the fish was literally perfect. Honestly, would come back to Dami just for this dish!

    Beef bibimbap

Since moving to Dallas, I've missed Beef bibimbap with the stone bowl. I actually had it the first time in Mason, OH (suburb outside of Cincinnati) and it was quite similar. The food was very good and fresh. The pricing was reasonable as well. It's always a good sign when see people of the food's nationality eating their food which is what saw here and felt comforting. The restaurant wasn't crowded, good service and the food came out fast. I will be back and would recommend others come here.

    Galbijjim

This is a late review but went to Dami and had their Galbijjim, non-spicy because I'm bad with spice. I went by myself which is usually really awkward experience especially since Dami seems to be much more of a family style restaurant. It feels like a tried and true mom and pop shop. Service was great overall and very welcoming. The portion size for the galbijjim makes sense with the price. As I didn't finish the meal in one sitting, it lasted me approximately 3-4 extra days. It's served in a hot stone plate and everything is cooked to tender perfection. The meat is soft and falls off the bone without too much manipulation with the tongs. It's more starchy vegetables than I'm used to with galbjjim but it certainly wasn't a bad thing and the amount of meat it came with was plentiful. The side dishes weren't particularly memorable and I wasn't a big fan of the bell peppers in the galbijjim. I'll have to come back and try their other menu items and next time, I should probably come back with some friends.

We were on our way to The Black Crowes concert at Choctaw in Oklahoma and we needed some food on the way out of town ! We picked an exit and found this place right off the highway along with several other similar options. We ordered a beed plate and it came with so many sides !! I liked most of them but not all of them. The beef was marinated and very tender and tasty. It seemed like it was family owned and it was a nice atmosphere. This was a nice start to our trip .. the concert was awesome

    Baby Octopus Bibimbap(Spicy)

I had the baby octopus it was very flavorful and delicious. As someone who's moved from Oregon, I've been looking for something haemul dolsot bibimbap, which tasted similar to the baby octopus bibimpab. I also loved the seafood pancakes so much. It was so crispy and flavorful! Y'all should come here the serving size is huge and it isn't that pricey. Also as a former Oregonian, I know when to appreciate good water, and the water here is so good that I took some to go in a cup. The service was excellent too! I have not had service this good in a while.

Dami serves delicious Korean food! Sooo good didn't get a chance to take photos of the Bimbim Naeng Myun (spicy cold noodles), kalbi, and seafood pancake cause family already began eating. All of which were delicious! Did get a photo is sides and the Bulgogi Dolpan Bibimbap! All the dishes we got were packed with flavor, amazing ingredients and wonderful textures. Guess we should mention service was good too. Few other dishes we'll need to try next time. We'll be back!

    Banchan with our cold noodles

I've been wanting to try naengmyun for the longest time. Unlike Chinese/Taiwanese cold noodles, I found the Korean version so interesting because it actually comes with iced broth, rather than noodles being coated in dressing-like sauce. And yes, I'm disappointed in myself for not trying it sooner because even though I didn't 100% love the taste, it was an eye-opening experience getting a brain freeze from eating noodles. I'm not sure what I expected the broth to taste like, but it was a lot more sour than I was anticipating. I didn't hate it at all, it just took me off guard. And now that it's been over a week since I've had it, I'm kind of craving the sourness. I also loved the chewiness of the noodles, however, and they give you a lot of noodles. And the meal was so incredibly refreshing, especially as it was over 100 degrees. I left feeling nice and cooled down, until the Texas sun burned me alive three minutes later.

    Herbal Bibimbap

We ordered the monkfish hot pot, the beef tofu stew, and the herbal bibimbap. Overall the food was decent - the herbal bibimbap was tasty, and I liked the monkfish as well. They also served us broth in a cup separately that was booth tasty and soothing. Overall had a positive experience, but there is a lot of competition from the other restaurants even within the same plaza.

    Cold noodles & kimchi soup
    Katie F.

My favorite cold noodles in Carrollton. The noodles are handmade and very thin and fresh. They have some of the best kimchi jigae soup as well as warm broth to side the cold noodles. The service is always very nice and bonchon is fresh and flavorful.

Cho Dang Village - Tofu soup

Before the main event, we got the seafood & green onion pancake. Crispy on the outside and reasonably chewy interior. Good amount of seafood; in particular, the oyster stood out. It was also a nice portion that was ideal for sharing. I opted for the seafood soondubu. Everything, from the banchan to the specific side dishes served with the soondubu, came out not too long after ordering. I got it at spice level three which I thought offered the right amount of kick without being too overwhelming (I also like to think I have a pretty strong spice tolerance). It had a good variety of seafood; namely, the shrimp and oyster. I'm not the biggest fan of clams but they were definitely still tasty. The tofu was soft and silky. The yellow croaker and rice were great supplements to the dish. The rice perfectly absorbed the broth. The croaker added a nice crunchy break from everything. The banchan was pretty standard in my opinion - still, a great complement to the soondubu. Last but not least - service was attentive and quick. I will definitely be coming back at some point!

2 friends and I came on a Friday afternoon, and I was worried it would be packed with a long wait…read moretime based on other reviews, but from our experience, this is a good time to come! The restaurant had plenty of space, but service was still super fast and efficient anyway, which I loved. What I love about Chodang is that the food is stellar and such good PORTIONS. Knowing this, I still opted to order a Combo Special because the thought of having leftovers for the next day sounded great to me. I ordered the Kimchi Tofu Soup with Beef Bulgogi, and it was delicious. I usually order my soups at the Spicy level, which I would say has a kick and flavor but never leaves me panting for air or water. As someone who likes spice, I wouldn't say it's very spicy, but definitely flavorful. Beef Bulgogi is one of my favorite dishes, and this place's version does not disappoint. The meat is tender and has a good balance of sweet and salty. My friends also ordered Combo Specials with a Tofu soup and the Korean bbq ribs, and Spicy Pork Bulgogi. One of these friends opted for the medium spice level, which I would say is a safe choice for everyone, especially if you're worried about something being too spicy. All soups come with Korean side dishes, a whole grilled yellow croaker fish (delicious but lots of bones), and a hot stone bowl of rice. Nothing missed!
