The place, which is tucked in the corner of the plaza, looks small from the outside but is pretty large and spacious inside. There are plenty of tables and even some small private rooms in the back. The boss lady was super nice and spoke English and Chinese in addition to Korean. The menu was simple and straightforward. For dine-in, seat yourself. We ordered Dami Galbijjim, LA Galbi, and a Baby Octopus Bibimbap to-go. Extra side dishes might be available upon request. Note - Dami Galbijjim and Hot Pot Galbijjim are the same dish, but the former is sized for 2 people while the latter is for 1 person. The food came out within 20 mins. Our food came in a cardboard box (easier to carry) because we ordered so much. The Galbijjim was absolutely delicious - sweet and spicy, super tender. My favorite spot for naengmyeon on a hot day! They add Sprite to their broth which adds so much dimension and makes it 10x tastier. I would highly recommend the Spicy Galbi Jjim. I enjoyed that the beef short ribs are fall off the bone tender. They are also soaked in this sticky sweet, slightly spicy sauce. I am not the biggest fan of sweet/salty so this would have been perfect if it was less sweet. I also was highly recommend the Skate Fish Jjim. I was honestly very pleasantly surprised by this dish. This is a late review but went to Dami and had their Galbijjim, non-spicy because I'm bad with spice. I went by myself which is usually really awkward experience especially since Dami seems to be much more of a family style restaurant. It feels like a tried and true mom and pop shop. Service was great overall and very welcoming. The portion size for the galbijjim makes sense with the price. As I didn't finish the meal in one sitting, it lasted me approximately 3-4 extra days. It's served in a hot stone plate and everything is cooked to tender perfection. The meat is soft and falls off the bone without too much manipulation with the tongs. It's more starchy vegetables than I'm used to with galbjjim but it certainly wasn't a bad thing and the amount of meat it came with was plentiful. The side dishes weren't particularly memorable and I wasn't a big fan of the bell peppers in the galbijjim. I'll have to come back and try their other menu items and next time, I should probably come back with some friends. read more

I had the baby octopus it was very flavorful and delicious. As someone who's moved from Oregon, I've been looking for something haemul dolsot bibimbap, which tasted similar to the baby octopus bibimpab. I also loved the seafood pancakes so much. It was so crispy and flavorful! Y'all should come here the serving size is huge and it isn't that pricey. Also as a former Oregonian, I know when to appreciate good water, and the water here is so good that I took some to go in a cup. The service was excellent too! I've been wanting to try naengmyun for the longest time. Unlike Chinese/Taiwanese cold noodles, I found the Korean version so interesting because it actually comes with iced broth, rather than noodles being coated in dressing-like sauce. And yes, I'm disappointed in myself for not trying it sooner because even though I didn't 100% love the taste, it was an eye-opening experience getting a brain freeze from eating noodles. I'm not sure what I expected the broth to taste like, but it was a lot more sour than I was anticipating. I didn't hate it at all, it just took me off guard. And now that it's been over a week since I've had it, I'm kind of craving the sourness. I also loved the chewiness of the noodles, however, and they give you a lot of noodles. BEWARE- after having a mediocre meal, I asked for the checked and realized they added tip without telling us. I asked why and they said all the Korean restaurants are doing this for 5 or more people. I didn't like how the waitress was not transparent about the added tip and kept telling me to just sign the check. I analyzed the bill further and realized that the tip was 25%. I questioned why did they add 25% when in most restaurants they add 18-20% for large parties. They changed it to 20% without saying anything. The whole experience felt so dirty over a few dollars. That was disappointing but we'll have to try it next time. I think this place has blown up ever since it was mentioned by Strictly Dumpling. We ended up have Korean short ribs which was delicious and the best dish of the evening. The portion was a little too small, that would have been my only complaint but the meat was so tender and perfectly marinated. The next most popular dish was the baby squid bap which was really tasty and had a good mix of spicy flavors. The Korean cold noodles were also very delicious and had a good vinegar and spicy ratio. Was searching for a place for Naeng Myun and decided to try out Dani. Unfortunately they were sold out of the meul Naeng Myun, so we tried the Saekimi instead, which has a spicy skate sashimi and a couple slices of beef. The noodles were thin, chewy and refreshing, while the skate sashimi had a clean taste and meaty texture (also a bit of crunch from some cartilage). The waitress also recommended the baby octopus hot stone bibimbap and we certainly were not disappointed. The octopus was tender and the sauce was sweet and spicy with a hint of smokiness. The hot stone plate provided extra surface area to make nice bits of crunchy rice as well. This was highly addicting. Wow, talk about THE BEST KOREAN RESTAURANT IN DALLAS!! ALL of their food was amazing. We had their cold noodles in broth, raw fish cold noodles, pork ribs, beef ribs, monk fish soup, and bulgogi skillet bibimbap. THEY WERE ALL GOOD!!!!! Our tab came out to $124 and I have not felt so happy to spend that much money on a meal in a long time. Their cold noodles are pulled right on the spot so they are super stretchy and amazing. Their pork ribs were perfectly cooked and not overly seasoned. The beef ribs were soooooo so so so so so tender and had a bunch of fun starchy veggies that came with it like sweet potato and sweet squash. The monk fish soup was such a good flavor without being spicy or fishy. The fish was so tender and packed with flavor. Last but not least the hot stone skillet bibimbap had bits of "burnt" rice that were crunchy and so delicious along with the veggies and beef .. oh and a perfectly over medium runny egg on top!! All of the banchans were tasty and paired well with everything my friends and I ate. We ordered the hot stone galbi jjim and the bibimnaengmyeon. The galbi was super tender and a large portion, but definitely on the pricier side ($55). The naengmyeon was also flavorful and chewy and tasted incredible with a piece of the galbi and kimchi. Dami restaurant food review: At the recommendations of our neighbors, we tried out Dami Restaurant. They start you out with complimentary hot beef broth which was surprisingly tasty. We had the Seafood pancake and Hot Stone Galbi Jjim (braised short ribs in a savory sauce with Korean vegetables) for our lunch. The banchan dishes were mediocre although we both liked the kimchi cucumbers and I loved the pickled seaweed. The potatoes were good but kimchi and japchae weren't that great. The seafood pancake was a little crispy but could've had a little more seasoning. The Hot Stone Galbi Jjim was BOMB! It was a pleasant surprise because it was so flavorful. The meat was super tender and marinated so well! The waitress said it takes them 2 days to prepare this dish. It's a bit pricy but we shared this dish with my husband and I and our 14 yo and still had leftovers. I highly recommend checking this place out.
