Since the name suggests they specialize in donuts I had high expectations even tho it was located in a gas station. I had a bagel and cream cheese, didn't taste homemade, but it was fine. The donuts in the display had flies sitting all over them, idk why i still bought them anyways. The donuts were clearly not fresh, super dry and stale. Disappointed.

Pretty solid donuts, coffee and breakfast sandwiches. My husband and I love donuts so we had to make a trip out this way while staying in Saugerties for a weekend getaway. I had a maple donut and sausage egg and cheese - both were good! My husband had the same sandwich and a Boston cream, which he enjoyed. If / when we find ourselves in the area again we would definitely go back!

    Big Daddy. Ain't no lie!

Nothing was available... staff was hiding, a few stale donuts hanging around. I see it's closed now

Best donuts in town hands-down. Whenever we travel to visit family they always ask us to bring a box along maybe two. Highly recommend

Best doughnuts ever!!!!! The service can be a little slow at times but totally worth it if you're not in a rush.

And I'm a person of colorful dress, effivescent personality and an all around cheery fellow and to think that my reciprocal would be receptive of this character is just plain folly - but I tried anyway. I forget my dern cell phone charging cable in Queens and thought to stick it out, you know, unplug and detatch from devices for a bit. But that proved a unsuccesssful concept because- truth be told, I had no true course plotted so I was going with my gut along with the world's worst sense of direction. Hefty counter crazy lady gestured with a flick of a chubby pointing fingers to the rear in a half hearted attempt to show me the general area for cell accessories way to the back by the ice among the poorly stocked shelves and spinny displays. "Buy it and try it" was all she'd advise me with so I was sure to tear at the box like a seven year old on meth on Christmas morning. And I laid down my selection of beef jerky but decided against coffee which I couldn't bear the thought of in her care. I've had really positive experiences at Cumberlands thus far, however I'll steer clear of this location for sure and had there been a simple slice of customer service decency, I'd add some stars and cast it off into the wild blue yonder -- but in this case, I just can't find it within myself to accept and glaze over such an obnoxiously toxic individual.

Gracie's is an elevated diner experience...all the breakfast and brunch things you could want, but up a couple levels from a classic greasy spoon diner. Not dissing the greasy spoon diner experience...love that...but this is based in that historical experience, with an overall nicer experience in terms of food and atmosphere. Also, before we get into the specifics, here are 2 words which would bring me in from just about anywhere: Donut menu. Yes, they make their own donuts here, and that's enough reason to stop in, take out, or worship at the front door. We got our donuts to go after the meal...The coffee was GREAT. Too often, coffee, which should be the opening star of a diner experience, can be flavorless, browned water. Here it was good. Bold as I needed it to be, and the perfect foundation for the rest of the meal. My next go-to if they have it brunch experience is biscuits. They have them...you can get a biscuit on its own or, heck, go for a mini biscuit basket! I live for a biscuit-forward establishment. The Full Breakfast (submitting biscuit or potatoes for the meat) would have been my choice, but I decided to roll my own and ended up with a biscuit, fruit cup, and side of Hash Browns. The biscuit was good, large, and perfect with butter and honey. They make the hash browns to order - large hash brown patties - and with 2 different orders of them at the table, one was overcooked, too brown, and not impressive...but the other was perfect and delicious...bordering on potato pancake territory in presentation and flavor. Our server was fantastic...we had a large party encompassing 3 different tables in the middle of a Sunday morning (On Easter no less), which is, of course, the busiest time of the week. She was friendly, enthusiastic, and never made us feel rushed. If I found myself in the Hudson Valley again, Gracie's would be a definite destination for me.

We had no problems getting a table. However, when we left the place was packed. We ordered Water, Lemonade, Ginger Ale, Waldorf Salad, Grilled Cheese & Bacon and Waffles. The menu had all the basics. The food was average. No complaints. My Waldorf salad was very plentiful. I took the remaining portion home. Customer Service was pretty good. The luncheonette has plenty of parking. Gracie's appears to be a reliable place to stop in for a bite.

Getting back to Stewart's, though, they are a very community-oriented company and they really try to please their customers. This location is right off the main highway, and offers gasoline, too, so it gets pretty busy here on the weekends with folks stopping in for a quick bite with their fill-ups. They serve grab-n-go breakfast items, sandwiches, hard-packed ice cream in many flavors, coffees, snacks, candy, smokes and lottery tickets. Considering their proximity to the road, they very thoughtfully also offer a small section of emergency automotive supplies for motorists. Although they do not stay open all night, they are a good, reliable staple, and a welcome sight for travelers and locals alike in these vacation regions of New York who need gas and food along their way.
