They also sell handmade cards and I decided to pick up one of those as the designs were so cute and funny. Highly recommend!

Chocolate cream pie - flaky, light crust, with a great chocolate filing, almost bordering on dark chocolate - perhaps best chocolate cream pie I've had. I highly recommend this place - well worth the short drive from the highway, on your way up to the 'Dacks or the Capital Region. Cash Only.

I regret not taking better photos, but at least I got a quick shot of the delightful cake. It was all absurdly good. I can't get over how fluffy the frosting is and how perfect the cookie textures are. The woman working was also really nice and, despite it being the end of the day, I didn't feel at all rushed or like she just wanted to close up. Here's how much we loved it: My husband and I went there yesterday while on a weekend trip. Today, we had to get back home fast to beat the snowstorm, and we seriously considered just risking it and driving out of our way to go back here. We didn't (safety first, etc) but we've decided to order our wedding cake from this place *and* our wedding favors. Seriously, everyone should go to this place. Everyone deserves this magic in their lives!

Doesn't look like a red velvet cake. The cake was firm and the cream cheese icing were not too sweet which we like. I gave it 3 stars because we can not get over the fact that they would even let a dark brown color batter passed as red velvet is totally unprofessional and unforgivable. It is fair. 1 star for staff being nice, 1 star for cake in being not overly sweet, and 1 star for icing for being not sweet and strong cream cheese flavor.
