Went here for dinner on vacation and it's so adorable! Shukran gave us great recommendations for dinner the minestrone was so delish and her and Zdenkae could have not been kinder. It was my hobby's bday and our 30th and they brought us this dessert. Great Ambience and food. Highly recommend!

What struck me most about this place is the incredibly well decorated terrace that was also heated during the winter. I initially planned to go somewhere else for afternoon tea but they were all booked up so I was trying to find a place last minute that still had openings before I left London. The British Museum offered it but I felt that experience may be too loud / touristy based on other reviews. I discovered this little gem and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! This is located in the Bloomsbury hotel and you can do tea here or at the bar next door. I came during a promotion where they offered 50% off afternoon tea from Monday-Friday for all guests. The service was excellent and we are able to get second helping of sandwiches if you'd like. They had an excellent selection of different teas and very fresh, buttery scones. I would recommend this place if you are willing to splurge (it was £ 75 per person without any discounts at the time) but if they didn't offer the promotion, I'm not sure if I would come back due to the high price. However, if you want to try afternoon tea in a cozy, picturesque spot, this is the place!

Looks nice. They tried with the flavor.

Very cute place place with the flower ambience. Food is ok, maybe even consider good for London standard. The tea time is the cutest I've seen. I would come back for tea time, but not for their regular food. This restaurant is part of a super chic hotel that i would stay at. What people cannot tell from the website is that this space is quite small, it's literally the terrace. It fits about 18 people. 6 people on one side for afternoon tea in the smaller round tables (there is no flowers on this side. The rest of the tables are on the side with the wall of flowers for regular lunch.

Came to London for the first time and couldn't leave without having Tea Time. We entered through the coral room and walked through the bar/restaurant to the Terrace which was absolutely beautiful. This place was so cute. Being that they have a set menu for Tea Time the only things we were able to choose was our teas. They do have an additional menu I believe to order other food and drinks but we just kept our set menu. For the first course we were given three different finger sandwiches which were interesting... none of them really stood out to me. Next we were brought out our teas. I really enjoyed this part as they came out in these cute tea pots that stayed on the table throughout the experience. And lastly, we were brought out our sweets. My favorite had to have been the pistachio flavored dessert it was so delicious. The only downside for me was the price. The 45 pounds wasn't bad for tea but I ordered a glass of champagne which was an extra 18 pounds and I could've brought a bottle for that price... Overall, I had a really good experience!

The place is nicely decorated, but I've had better tea sandwiches and cakes. The scone and champagne were the best part. Service was very good. Overall, the price is decent for the experience you get.

Lovely ambiance. We sat on the terrace for dinner. We were surrounded for hanging florals and picturesque decor. A Mrs. Dalloway quote was within view as part of the decor, on the wall. Our waiter was polite and efficient. We even had other wait staff clearing plates and keeping our experience lovely. Food was good. Not the best, not the worst. Come here for the vibe and enjoy! I can't comment on parking as we walked.

Good brunch food, attentive service, and very nice and well heated patio vibes. Food was tasty hut the prices were a bit high. Went during brunch and you had to order 2 dishes for £38. The pancakes were delicious as was the healthy banana split. I don't drink but they had a very extensive drink menu.

Afternoon Tea: sweets, scones, savories, and choice of tea (£40 per person).

Visit this afternoon tea spot for Instagrammable pictures but not for high quality tea and small bites. I had wanted to see what the craze was all about, considering so many hotels and restaurants serve afternoon teas. However, the food pales in comparison to what I would get at a decent café. After browsing a plethora of afternoon tea places, I had picked this one due to its more reasonable price of £40 per person and the terrace prettily decorated with plants. A number of the ones I checked had cost close to or well over £100 and did not seem to present as pleasant of an ambience. The scones were actually the best out of everything: Tahitian Vanilla & Lemon Scone and Golden Raisin Scone, served with Devonshire clotted cream and Scottish raspberry jam. These were freshly baked and fluffy. I found the sweets somewhat odd from their consistency and flavor: - Lemon & Basil: lemon and basil drizzle cake - Pear & Ginger: ginger cheesecake with pear compote - Blackberry & Lemongrass: blackberry and lemongrass jelly with lemon grass cream - Strawberry & Black Pepper: strawberry and black pepper parfait, balsamic glaze And lastly, the savories were not that impressive either. At the very least the bread was not stale like the reviews from other higher-end afternoon tea places: - Marinated Cucumber: with cream cheese on spinach bread - Egg Mayonnaise: with watercress on a colorful brioche roll - Poached Salmon: with lemongrass crème fraiche on farmhouse bread - Coronation Chicken: on cocoa and malt bread To accompany the snacks, each person selects a pot of tea. I picked Lychee Goji Flavored Green Tea (tropical green tea with flavors of cherry, goji berries, pomegranate, cranberry and blue mallow flowers). My brother chose Vanilla Chai (mixed blend of ginger, cardamom and cloves with a taste of vanilla). Both teas lacked impact even after brewing the entire time. If opting in for alcohol, a single glass of champagne costs a whopping £55 or £59. We had arrived late to our Wednesday 2:45 PM reservation due to the sudden downpour and confusion in finding the Coral Room inside the Bloomsbury Hotel. Enter via the front of the hotel as the the door led by a sign pointing to the Coral Room was locked. The host was understanding and ushered us to our tables. A service charge of £5 per person was added onto the bill.

We came for high tea. Our criteria for choosing a place for tea was cucumber sandwiches, cute atmosphere and good tea selection. This place delivered on all accounts. It's basically unlimited food as they offered more of all the options we had. The atmosphere was adorable, even despite heavy rain fall (the screens kept us dry!). The food was delicious, especially the jam for the scones. We ordered champaigne as well which was cold and hit the spot. The price was reasonable compared to other options I priced.

This was one of the most beautiful welcoming and glamorous places I've ever been to. I entered by someone opening the door for me and escorting me to their coral room, which was absolutely beautiful and so the color coral. From there I met my cousin and we were then escorted to our table on the terrace. The outside was covered in spring flowers and pretty furniture. We had amazing service from beginning to end, and they were very helpful in explanation what teas to pair to certain foods, and what order to eat. The food was light and delicious with sandwiches, scones, tarts, and cakes. I could've stayed there for hours. I even saw one girl get a blanket because she was a little cold! Would text to anyone visiting London to get a quintessential afternoon tea experience!

Great service and very friendly staff. Tea was so fun and colorful. The sandwiches were yummy and scores were perfect! Loved that we were able to sit outside but have a covering for the rain.

This is a gorgeous restaurant which is the perfect romantic setting for a date. Dine outside next to the floral wall or under a dimly lit backdrop. Prices are on the high side but for a special occasion it's worth it. The EOTHO scheme is another great reason to indulge. Menu may look like standard British or European fare but they deliver it with great service and quality. I enjoyed the grilled cod atop a bed of little clams, samphire and mushrooms swimming in an umami broth. Delicate and filling! The side of truffle parmesan fries were delicious as well. Wine selection was impressive. I highly recommend this restaurant for a lovely meal.

I wanted to squeeze in an afternoon tea in London before catching my flight back and this place did not disappoint! Not to mention what a beautiful winter decor greeted me as I entered the dining terrace. Apparently this place is known to set up beautifully themed decor for every season. The food of gorse was delish and desserts were so well-thought up & very rich. You get a tower where you work your way up from bottom plate of mini sandwiches, middle tier of biscuits that were tdf and finish with desserts at the very top. I am definitely adding this to my list to come back!

The location is fantastic, the customer service was excellent, and the atmosphere made for a really enjoyable breakfast. I started with a cappuccino and added salted caramel, but honestly, the cappuccino was so good it didn't even need it. It was smooth, rich, and perfectly made on its own. For breakfast, I ordered the Eggs Benedict. They offer two versions: one with pulled beef and one Florentine. As someone from the US who's a bit of an Eggs Benedict snob, I've tried countless versions over the years, and pulled beef just wasn't something I could picture working with it. I went with the Florentine and customized it by adding bacon, avocado, and a side of sausage. One thing I've learned while visiting the UK is that the sausages are much larger than what I'm used to back home! I honestly could have skipped it because it was so filling. The Benedict itself was unique--the base was almost like a buttery croissant instead of a traditional English muffin, and it came with pickled red onions, which was an interesting touch. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly, and I especially enjoyed it with the added bacon. The food was fresh, high quality, and beautifully prepared. There was plenty of seating both inside and outside, but I chose to sit outside and enjoy some people watching, which made for a relaxing start to the day. Overall, a great breakfast spot with delicious food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I'd definitely come back.
