This was an epic experience! Chris was the lead helping us throughout the process, the other staff members were amazing! I think their names were Nick and Nate. They made you feel at ease, they were VERY patient and informative and made sure we were safe. I was terrified but I managed to complete 3 swings, I didn't do the knee hang with the connection but maybe I will next time, baby steps. my friend enjoyed her birthday and that's all I cared about. Great job guys!

This is such a crazy fun experience! Trapeze classes are set for 1 hour (1-5 people) and 2 hours (6-10)! We had a group of 5 and there was another person that was much more advanced practicing with us as well, so our time was 2 hours. When you arrive and check in, you sign your waiver if it wasn't done beforehand. They have a water refill station right by the bathroom and you'll want to stay well hydrated! We walked to the holding area and got our lesson on stance and how instructions are given (HEP means go, etc). Then you'll start the class! There is chalk along the wall leading up to the ladder and you'll definitely want to use that! My hands were so sore by the end! Instructors are clear, but some are a little louder than others and it can be challenging to hear some of the cues over the fans. I'm sure they would get microphones if the ones giving commands were separate from the ones that are safety / on ropes... but they were fairly understanding if you missed a cue. Photos at the end are $10 and you get all the ones taken. They are sent via an iCloud link and then you're able to download them to your phone. I didn't realize they wouldn't be able to share the videos that they are taking (they are for review only), so be sure to either record the TV or get someone to record your attempts! My best one didn't get captured, but there's always next time! Thanks DCC!

Absolutely incredible experience. Everyone must try if you have any athletic ability. The coaches are the best and the harnesses are the worst, but they keep you safe. #safety3rd

What a blast!! Parker, Dave & Jordan were spectacular! (Even if I was a bit nervous at first). They were fun, SAFE & informative. I loved their energy & their easy instruction! Our family did this as a family-outing and we WILL be back!!

If you want to do something you'll always remember, I'd highly recommend trying this place out! They have an array of things to do - all while being supervised by professionals! It's a very casual environment and they work with YOUR abilities to maximize your fun. The group I was in had a combination of kids and adults and none of us felt pressured to do anything we weren't fully willing to do while flying through the air. *Check out Groupon for some good deals!

Trapeze with a catch!

We loved our day here! My daughter wanted to try the trapeze class with friends and they absolutely loved it. Everyone was super patient, encouraging, and helpful. Will definitely be back!

What a fun Friday night!! My friend and I booked the two hour trapeze class for the first time and had a blast. All of the employees are super helpful and encouraging for your first jump. Even though it was harder and scarier than we pictured they were there to encourage us. If you are thinking about booking a class I highly recommend it! We were done after a few jumps and got to watch a few of the pros practice and it was mesmerizing to watch them do their thing. Definitely worth it!

I absolutely love Dallas Circus Center! It's where I go to let the stress melt away. The instructors are top notch and they help you progress at your individual level. It's fun for all ages and a great place to learn, train and have fun!

My son at the top of the trapeze getting instruction.

What a great experience for my husband and son. They loved every minute of it. The instructors were so helpful and knowledgeable and trustworthy!! They take safety serious here!!! We will be back for sure!!

Great views of the Calatravas bridges and downtown! This…read moreimproved hiking and biking trail takes you past some of the most scenic parts of downtown Dallas. From the floodplain of the Trinity River, you can see all the bright lights of Big D. Downtown Dallas has two bridges designed by the internationally acclaimed architect, Santiago Calatravas. There's one at each end of the trail here. There's no restrooms here along this trail. No shade from trees. The area around the Trinity has been mowed to keep things visible, and a concrete path to follow. There's a map at the trail head that walks you through the features of the Trinity river valley. This place is generally pretty sketchy at night- there's a place you can pull off the road and park and make out or whatever those people are doing in their cars. It seems like a fantastic place to meet some shady characters late at night. I wouldn't hike past sundown. I went walking alone through the trail, and I'm pretty sure I made some of the other joggers uncomfortable when there was nobody else around... I'd have felt much more comfortable on a bike.

From what I understand based on the trail maps, the Trinity Skyline trail itself is a little less…read morethan 5 mile loop, but it connects to another trail which could lengthen it. On our first trip out, we only walked the half mile leg of the trail between the Trinity Overlook and the Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge. Street parking was easy at the Overlook. There weren't a lot of spaces but there also weren't a lot of cars. I think most people start from one of the other trailheads. The views from the overlook are nice, but not as nice as the views from the pedestrian bridge. It would probably be more exciting at night. From the overlook we descended down a steep hill to the trail. The path is a little rocky but still adequate for running, assuming you have good shoes. This definitely isn't a trail for you barefoot runners! I can't speak for the rest of it, but this portion of the trail was NOT LIT, so it wouldn't be an early morning or night run option without a flashlight (and a taser). It is roughly a flat half mile from the overlook to the bridge and it is beautiful. There are views of both the Margaret McDermott and Margaret Hunt Hill bridges, the Trinity River, and the Dallas Skyline. Walking the trail in early April, everything was vibrantly green and absolutely stunning. We hopped off the trail to walk down the Ronald Kirk pedestrian bridge. On a Friday mid morning in the midst of Coronavirus quarantine, the bridge was sparsely populated - just a few people here and there running, biking, or walking their dogs. I see from previous reviewers that it is normally quite lively, which will be a fun thing to go back and experience, but it was also nice to have the bridge mostly to ourselves and peacefully take in the 360 degree views. The Trinity Skyline trail and the Ronald Kirk Pedestrian bridge come together to make a true urban oasis. Go check it out!

My last three trips were for this year's Memorial Day activities in support of Carry the Load. This park comes to a new life when there is a large event such as the very noble Carry the Load. Reverchon's beautiful greenery, powerful oaks and gentle rolling meadows are accented with the dark reddish sandstone walls and structures that soothes the soul. It is almost like a slice of Eden.To see this impressive park comfort those grieving as they remember the fallen military, police, fire and other first responders validates its role as a magnanimous friend. It fosters the catharsis and healing needed by many. The trip up and down from the Katy trail (which is high above) can be as challenging as you want to achieve and as beautiful as you want to view. I like the winding stone steps. There are observation terraces, conversation pits, and nature everywhere. It is shielded by quiet Dallas high rises just far enough away. The quiet serenity at night is in contrast to its vibrant life during the day. It retains the natural attraction whether it is a hand full of park goers to over ten thousand. It's great for the dogs, kids and oldtimers like me. There are some sport facilities for the team sport athletes. And of course there are the trails. There is a lack of immediate parking which I think helps retain its natural beauty . There are lots and streets to park if you decide not to go on foot. The adjoining recreation center has all you could want or need. The food and drink options are not too far away and some are world renown. If you need mental cleansing or some quiet reflection, Reverchon Park is the place to stroll.

It's listed as 1.6-miles long, but it's unclear which parts of the trail equal that distance. The trail-head is located at the southern end of Bexar Street. Plan to go when you can also visit Bonton Farms, located where you'll park. Bonton Farms is open Mon-Fri 9:30-3:30 and Sat 9-noon. If you remember bug spray, the Texas Buckeye Trail provides an enjoyable walk through some dense growth approaching the banks of the Trinity River. There's a concrete path and a narrow, well-marked, trail that, not surprisingly, was muddy in parts. Near the river, the trail was closed (caution-taped off) because of all the recent rains, so we couldnt get to the Buckeye Grove. On the concrete path there is a barrier blocking the last part which leads to the river. (See Tim O.'s picture) When the river had one of its floods, the banks were washed away causing the sidewalk to collapse (see my photo). Potentially dangerous, yes, which is why it's blocked. Hopefully access to river views will be re-engineered and re-introduced in the near future. Make sure to check the corners ( you're allowed to go in) so you don't miss anything. We almost missed an area. Also there is some areas to do some art as well. We didn't stop to do it but it's there. One slide can be intense, so probably not for small kiddos. Probably good for kids 7 and above (6 if they are courageous) just because of the climbing structure areas and bars width. Parents with young children should follow, they literally can land up somewhere else and some areas they do need to climb up and might need help. Definetly wear sneakers. I wore the wrong shoes and couldn't go into certain areas. Great concept and fun!
