However - this place is killer. I've tried several lattes and the cold brew, and they are phenomenal. I've brought people coffee from here, and each person has agreed that it's some of the best we've had in Tampa recently. The ambiance is interesting - it's in a kitchen store. But it works! The team is so great, and the shop currently has some of my fave baristas from formerly open shops. They're awesome! I highly recommend stopping in.

Well they did and boy am I glad they did because I LOVE Kalesia and loved having the chance to show it to new people. I was just afraid there'd be too many of us. But I got super lucky and there was a large open table. Everyone really enjoyed their drinks. They all got the fancy blends but I'm perfectly happy with my "teatannic" (the largest size and that name cracks me up) Moroccan Mint. So refreshing iced. This is a delightful, cozy, Asian themed café. There are a few food options like bahn mi and rice bowls and tons of tea and a few latte options. The service is always so friendly and I always see little groups hanging out and chatting and individuals doing some studying or working. They even have a gorgeous quiet room, set up to take your shoes off and sit comfortably on the floor and study or write or work in peace. I could definitely see bringing my laptop and working on a novel with a delicious, comforting tea. I haven't tried the food yet because every time I come here it's either right before or right after dinner plans, but it looks and smells SO good and my time is coming!

It works well for regulars or anyone looking for an uncomplicated coffee stop rather than a specialty cafe experience.

I later Was told you have to make reservations to sit inside... which I have no problem doing but I didn't see that on any of the socials *shrugs* Owell. They gave me the wrong latte which actually tasted really good (I didn't even realize they did) but then was given the latte I ordered and it tasted burnt. Honestly, the whole experience just kept getting worse and the customer service isn't amazing (I'm not a picky person about customer service). Rather just go to a coffee shop that is less complicated. This place is super cute though so if you need IG pics definitely give it a try.

The young girl that rang us up was super sweet and helpful. I'm picky about my coffee and the flavors and she informed me that picking oat milk over almond milk would be best because of the fat content causing it to be more creamier (I'm bit on texture too). Loved it!!!! Even the delicious and perfectly sized gluten free biscuit with honey on the side. The decor wasn't much and unfortunately there was a couple there (possibly a first date situation) where the guy was really loud so there wasn't anything to buffer their conversation like music or anything, but would return next time with a fully empty stomach to try something else from their food menu.
