Went here with my fiancée because we love Kbbq. I used to work at a kbbq, and this one felt just like it. Everyone here is super kind. They cook for you at this kbbq which is awesome! At my old kbbq job, thats what they did also, and it makes the experience with your party so much more enjoyable since you're not so focused on cooking. So, thank you so much for taking care of us! As for the food, we got the rib fingers which are marinated in a sweeter sauce. Sooo delicious! We also got the Daechang (large intestine) and it was also delicious! We had corn cheese, fish cake soup, and their extremely spicy stir fried noodles. Everything here was so good, I would highly recommend to anyone that likes kbbq or Gopchang. Ordered the Texas Combo (gopchang, daechang, makchang, tukyang) which comes with kimchi fried rice (fried rice is cooked on the grill again after you finish the main course). The intestines don't seem like they're boiled or pre-cooked beforehand, which makes them less tough and not over cooked like the other gopchang restaurants. There can be a wait, so come prepared... but try it regardless, short of Korea or LA, it's the best gopchang in Dallas. read more

I just love gopchang, but it wasn't that good. * our waitress burnt all of our gopchang - I understand they are busy, but our gopchang was overcooked and burnt. * It was so HOT!!! My friends were sweating as if they are in hot sauna or they are being soaked as they were dining. We couldn't possibly eat more food or drinks. I tried this place out because a friend recommended it, and said their intestines are good. Usually I'm skeptical of trying intestines at places because sometimes it's not prepared right or isn't clean. But this place takes the cake. I absolutely loved the intestines here. We ordered the prime rib finger, large intestines, and tripe fried rice. I do have to say the bbq options are super small portions in our opinion. We were still a bit hungry leaving the place. But the food is AMAZING. the side dishes are good and the kimchi is amazing and a bit spicy. Best kimchi I've had around here. The dipping sauces are just as good too and the soup it comes with. I've been to this place twice e since they opened. The interior is nicely decorated and designed. The gopchang tastes fresh and not boiled which is great so all the insides can stay in place of the gopchang. We had the dallas combo each time which is not enough for 3people so we always ordered extra gopchang. The fried rice served at the end is the only thing I did not care for. First time we had it was way to bland. Tasted like just rice with minimal kimchi pieces cut into it. The second time we went it was overly salty. Someone over did the oyster sauce. I am a huge fan of grilled intestines. So, this is my go to place whenever I want late night grilling. It is on the pricier side and definitely a group type of place. Its so great for drinking and chilling with friends. I usually get the dallas course and of course the fried rice at the end. I love it here! We're always greeted and seated promptly. The food comes out quick and they always cook it for us at the grill, which is nice because these cuts of meat require it to be fully cooked. The service is great and the food is great as well. So checking out the Korean bbq scene in Carrollton my gf and stumbled across this place, we saw that it had good reviews so we tried this place and it turns out their specialty is intestines lol. Im use to intestines being deep fried and lightly salted but this was a different experience. I've been waiting for this place to open because there is no place that serve "makchang" which is my favorite. this place was crowded but we were able to get a table within a short waiting time. they brought out what we ordered in a reasonable time but took a really long time to bring the corn-cheese and the odeng soup which was a bit of disappointment. nonetheless, the food was great and they cook for you (even tho you do have to wait a little longer til it's completely cooked to eat). the makchang tends to get burnt a bit faster but it was probably our fault not to lower the burner so I'm sure it's ok as long as you know how to work the burner. it is a bit expensive for the amount they give... but I'm pretty satisfied. read more

I visited Dalgopchang late Saturday night (around 9PM) and it was pretty busy late Sat night! There was about 8-10 tables occupied. *warning: you WILL smell of korean food afterwards!!* There were 3 of us and we ordered the "Dallas Combo" ($49.99) - which consisted of: small intestine, large intestine, heart, tripe, and rectum. Fair warning, eating organs is not my cup of tea, but my siblings LOVED it in Korea and when we found out this place opened in Dallas, they wanted to try it. So I was semi-forced to go. I did eat at least 1-5 bites of each variety though! Food: My favorite personally was the large intestine. My siblings also loved the large intestines the most and the heart was also good for them. If/when we go back, we'll probably just order the large intestines. The large intestine basically taste like the fat of the pork belly. While the server was cooking the small intestines, it squirted out liquid!!! It was funny, yet really deterred me from even wanting to try the small intestine...We also ordered the "prime rib finger", which is right up my alley. I enjoyed it a lot, but it was a bit chewy. Apparently, you should order rice after and they can make fried rice and it's SUPER delish because of all the fat from the grill is absorbed into the rice. It was pretty hard to find a good gopchang place until this place opened. Some may think they are expensive, but cleaning intestines is a lot of work and their price range is similar in South Korea as well. I found out that their spicy stir-fried intestine () is a hidden gem of their menu. After pandemic, whenever I crave some gopchang, I order take out of stir-fried intestine and fried rice, and heat up the fried rice on a pan to make the rice crispy. Intestines and various innards (gopchang) are some of my favorite kinds of Korean BBQ, so I was thrilled to find out this place had opened up recently in Carrollton. The servers will grill your chosen meats at your table for you, and they also include an assortment of banchans (free sides) including some Korean staples plus cheesy corn. Favorites: Large intestine and small intestine. Tip: Ask for the authentic Korean bean paste sauce. They don't bring it out by default, so be sure to ask for it if you like it. Skip: the onigiri style rice balls were just OK (a bit mushy and bland) and would have been better toasted / fried yaki onigiri style. The rectum (yes, rectum) was a bit too tough and hard to chew. The wait can be long, and service can be slow on busy nights. Overall, I give the flavor an A+ though and can't wait to come back! read more

This is the second gopchang place opened in the area and I'm glad it's further away from Hmart. Just much easier to get to and park. The interior really resembles what you would expect from Korea. We ordered the first combo and spicy chicken feet, and fried rice with special tripe. To start off, the chicken feet was way too spicy but nonetheless delicious to eat. I was able to intake it with the banchan and corn with cheese served in the beginning. The combo came with all types of tripe and small/large intestines and I'm so glad that there was a lady cooking it at our table constantly. It was perfectly done and easy to eat since they cut it nicely too. If anything the table service is 5/5 for sure. For regular kbbq goers this is definitely a good change of taste. The meat was not any harder to chew and it was flavored just right with the sauce. To end our meal, we got the fried rice with "special tripe" which is one of the meat that we grilled. The rice was omg good. I wish I could eat it for lunch every day. I recommend getting the first combo and the fried rice if you're going as a couple. We had a girls' night for three of us and ordered a Dallas combo - comes with four-ish types of intestines and small side of veggies to grill + fish cake soup + cheese corn. We thought the intestines were on the tougher side. The banchan (side dishes) were also on the sweeter side, which could be an attempt to mainstream Korean food without letting each ingredient really play their part. I usually look to side dishes to determine how good a Korean restaurant is and this one didn't pass my test. read more

My favorite were the cow heart and the large intestine, but everything else was pretty good! They cook it all for you and service was extremely quick. For the price, I'd say we received exactly what we paid for if not a little bit more (taking the fact that we're in Dallas area and not in Korea). We also ordered the chicken feet. I'm used to the average Korean BBQ cuisine, but seeing intestine bbq I was very hesitant to even eat here. My boyfriend's family picked this place so I decided to be adventurous and try it. They picked all the meats. There was large intestine, small intestine, beef tripe and beef rectum. After tasting a piece of each,which I dipped in the jalapeño sauce that was provided, I was blown away. Some were fatty and flavorful, some where chewy and savory. I was surprised that there was no weird or gamy after taste from any of them. Everything was delicious. I will say that my least favorite was the small intestine, which is the swirly looking one. It had a soft texture with a kidney or liver aftertaste. Aside from that, I was officially an intestine lover. Paired with the yummy side dishes and some beer or Soju and you'll be one happy person. They need training employees (korean old lady) also they need change business I went there with friend around 9:15pm They told me close midnight that why we take seat. But we just starting eating I smelled some bleach So i looking around there employees start cleaning all over place. So i asking them again what time is close? Old Korean sever told me they will close 11pm. Still have more then 1hr So I asked her. "Please stop using bleach i just start eating I can't eating when I smelling bleach." But she don't care she said " we want leave same time with last customers " And then keep using bleach all over restaurants floor How can i eating? So I asked her again but she keep saying to me!! This place is legit. Came to visit from LA and was craving some Korean BBQ. Having been to all the great Korean BBQ places in LA's KTown I kept my expectations to a minimum. I was surprised by how good they were. The meat quality was excellent (fresh and tender) and side dishes well seasoned and prepared. The atmosphere is clean, spacious and inviting. Just keep in mind that your clothes will smell at the end of your culinary foray. Totally reccomend ordering their fried rice as well. read more
