I have used Airamedics before at a different house and they gave me a great deal for 2 new AC…read moreunits. At this new house the AC is over 10 y/o and was struggling. I figured it was going to go out any time so I asked for a quote on a new 3 ton. Bobby came out and decided to inspect the current system and found that it was not wired properly. He fixed the wiring and estimated the AC will last us a little longer. It's running great and cooling the house better than ever. Also we are happy that we don't have to spend thousands. I did ask for a ball park figure on a new AC. Airamedics are far less than most competitors.

My experience with Airamedics was limited to a phone call because they ultimately declined the…read morehome-warranty service assignment. My fiancé's AC stopped working during extreme Arizona heat, and OneGuard scheduled Airamedics for Monday. With a OneGuard representative still on the line, I called Airamedics only to ask whether they had experienced any cancellations or could possibly come sooner. Mark said nothing was available, so I calmly told OneGuard to leave the Monday appointment as scheduled. I did not curse, threaten, demand service, or berate anyone. Shortly afterward, I learned that Airamedics would no longer handle the service request because Mark claimed I had berated him. The call was recorded, and I have formally requested that OneGuard preserve and review the complete recording. Airamedics also blocked both phone numbers used to contact them, which made their response feel even more unprofessional and unnecessarily hostile. Given how quickly a simple scheduling question was turned into an accusation and followed by the company declining the assignment and blocking communication, it left me with the strong impression that they were looking for a reason not to accept this home-warranty job. I cannot comment on their technical work because they never came to the property, but this interaction caused unnecessary stress and delay during an already urgent situation. If a company does not want to accept home-warranty work, it should simply decline the assignment not mischaracterize a customer's conduct and then block further communication.

We attended a Christmas event associated with this company and were fortunate enough to win a…read moreraffle prize for a Seasonal Maintenance and Tune-Up valued at $139. As newcomers to the area, we were genuinely hoping this would be an opportunity to find a reliable HVAC company for our long-term service needs. Unfortunately, reliability turned out to be the biggest issue. We scheduled the appointment multiple times, and on several occasions no one showed up and no one called. Each time I followed up, I was given an explanation, another appointment was scheduled, and the same thing happened again--either a no-show, no communication, or a last-minute cancellation. After repeated attempts to make this work, I lost confidence in the company's ability to provide dependable service. If a company cannot honor a simple maintenance appointment, it's difficult to trust them with larger HVAC needs in the future. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but this experience was genuinely disappointing and, at times, frustratingly unprofessional. There are many HVAC companies in Arizona competing for customers, and customer service and reliability matter. Based on my experience, this company did not demonstrate either.

In looking for a second opinion, a good friend of my wife suggested K & R Refrigeration, who had completed work for her mother in Sun Lakes and who had been recommended to them by a trusted local repair man. Coincidentally, a good friend of mine in Sun Lakes also recommended K & R! K & R responded quickly to our call for help and their quote for replacing our 5 ton Trane rooftop unit was 33 percent lower than our maintenance service company' quote - a difference of almost $5k ! Not only were K & R more than fair in their pricing but they were able to provide and install the new unit almost immediatelly! (we accepted their quotaion on Friday and the unit was delivered and installed the following Monday morning! The new Trane unit is working wonderfully - we're getting a much stronger airflow, which cools our home much faster than in the past! We couldn't be more happy with K & R and we would like to thank everyone who helped us, including: Jerry, Stacey, Curtis, Jon and Cole! Bob & Judy Armstrong, Sun Lakes ( one concern we have is that it has been very difficult to find K & R Refrigeration in the Yelp listings, so that a lot of people may not be able to contact K & R)

Review for Bruce's and Savage since Savage purchased Bruce's…read more I had Bruce's AC out in May for service and ended up purchasing a maintenance package along with a blower motor cleaning, panel insulation and general maintenance. Unfortunately, the experience has gone downhill from there. About four months later, the insulation they installed started peeling away and falling into the blower area. When I called for service, I specifically requested a different technician because I had already been unhappy with the original technician, Tristen. He had left garbage behind in my attic and had also told me he was going to remove the blower and clean it outside in the backyard, which never happened. What made the insulation issue even more frustrating was speaking with Eli, the service manager, who told me this type of insulation is known to fail. I was also told condensation may be the reason the insulation failed. That raises the same basic question: if condensation is a known issue in this application and this material is known to fail under those conditions, why was it recommended and installed in the first place? When I scheduled the follow-up, I was told Mike was one of their best technicians and would be sent out to help resolve everything. Instead, Tristen showed up again despite specifically asking for someone else. Between the poor workmanship, work that was discussed but apparently never completed, trash being left in my attic, a product being sold that management later acknowledged has a history of failing, condensation being blamed for the failure even though that should have been considered before installation and my request for a different technician being ignored, I've lost confidence in Bruce's AC. I purchased a maintenance package expecting dependable service and a company that would stand behind its work. That has not been my experience. You'll see in the photos the adhesive never adhered to the surface, screws left off the panel, and garbage left behind. I received a refund of $61.00 from the $250 maintenance package and nothing from the failed insulation, garbage left behind, and sub-par work.

I believe The most important thing on these heat exchangers is the water that goes in and out of the unit and if that's not checked, why even put a new unit in.

Its unfortunate I feel compelled to write this review update. I had Rusty's visit my parents house…read moretoday since the external unit was making some noise on shut down, and given how great they were in 2023 when I needed them, it seemed like a no brainer. Nothing was declared wrong with their unit besides the LRA being higher than normal. (Apparently reading 129 when the rec on the unit is 120). So when I arrived the young tech was attempting to upsell my father on Compressor protection to solve this at a cost of $600, and stating to both of us at that time that the issue would only get worse and the compressor was the most expensive part of the unit to replace if it goes out (correct). He said $600 was cheaper than a compressor replacement (also correct). After some basic research I realized they were being upsold. Sure protection is good, But if your unit is already covering most of the bases a protector would, then why install one? The upsell statement was.... "Without this your unit will be unprotected and your LRV values are only going to continue to get worse, compressors are thousands to replace" It felt like doom tactics and for a second in my mind I was like, we should just do this. I took a photo of my units information and serial, threw it in to chat GPT. It told me the following about my unit. " What you have Brand: Lennox Model: ML17XP1-048-230A01 Type: Heat pump (not just AC) Size: 4 ton system Refrigerant: R-410A Voltage: 208/230V system (not 120V)" " Does your system already have protection? Yes--your Lennox ML17 series includes: Internal compressor overload protection Anti-short-cycle delay (via thermostat/control board) Standard electrical safeguards required by code So you already have basic built-in protection " I cross referenced this with the manual too. So maybe he meant "Compressor saver"? Like a hard start kit, who knows I'm not an AC tech, back to the internet. Well looks like my unit does not need or benefit from this since its only 2-3 years old and our capacitor was almost on point with the expected readout so starting was likely not an issue. I also saw that 129 was still within the expected +/- 10% tolerance even if on the higher side. So in a nutshell I am disappointed with the outcome here. I understand a bit of salesmanship is required for a successful biz, but $600 of not required add-ons for a unit that has most of it already doesn't feel honest. Not to mention that feedback online was to expect to pay $350-450 and that $600 and above was considered very expensive. And lets say I am totally off the mark here and my research is off, then in that case the young tech seriously failed to explain in detail about the topic. The tech that visited me in 2023 was so knowledgable and at no point did I feel like I was being upsold on things I didn't need. There was a trust bond there almost immediately with that guy. I went back to read reviews and saw that the same has happened to some of your other customers (Quincy . R from literally 2 weeks ago) Your biz was EXCELLENT! I raved about you guys to my neighbors in the past. Some of them even booked you. I know you guys are better than this. Sadly i'll have to take my biz and recommendations else where from here on. Thanks for the great job you did in 2023 and good luck with your continued biz Rusty's.
