All of the plants that they chose for our yard are so beautiful and unique. Everyone that comes by wants to know what each plant is called because they aren't the very common yard plants that everyone has...they are so interesting! They chose the foliage specifically for what they knew would grow well in our area and with the sunlight for each side of the house. Thoughtfulness went into every aspect of each item they added...from the plants, to the wood and stone for the built in bbq, the special market lights (that are really unique and fun), all the way to the treated concrete. Everything looks like a step above! The work process was easy, and the crews that showed up every day were gracious, kind, friendly and hard working. Over the weeks we got to know the workers, and it was a sad day when it finished and we knew they would not be showing up again every morning. The fire pit installed by this company exploded into my girlfriend's face. We had an independent professional company come out to inspect the unit and the gas line. Their findings were shocking: the gas connection was completely loose. This negligence allowed gas to build up inside the fire pit structure, which caused it to explode upon ignition. Because of the physical injuries sustained and the absolute gross negligence regarding a gas installation, we are now taking this company to litigation. If you value the safety of your home and your family, stay far away from this business. A "loose connection" on a gas line is not just a mistake--it is a deadly hazard. We are currently in the process of legal action to hold them accountable for the damage and trauma they have caused. Zero stars. Avoid at all costs.

Working with him has made me concerned about working with any contractors in the future as my fiance and I are pretty new to home ownership and updates. For one thing, Brent's communication is ATROCIOUS. Every single step of the way. You will always have to hunt him down if you discuss anything. Huge red flag. For another thing, he was COMPLETELY disrespectful of the budget we told him. He smiled and nodded and then proceeded to give us a plan 4-5 times what we asked for. Brent totally botched one corner of our yard, and did not have the competence to fix it, or willingness to look into it further or hire a subcontractor. He has just stopped communicating with us even though as of July 31st of this year he texted us that he would be coming over to look at it again. He does not take responsibility for any of this of course- it is the manufacturer's fault or our fault because our budget was so small (still tens of thousands of dollars) that he was barely willing to take a job like this and he let us know it. After we paid him, of course. His design work is nothing you should pay this kind of money for. We are looking into our rights and options now. I would caution anyone against working with him.
