Thrilled that we found this place recently! The chocolate croissant was massive and delicious. It had the perfect crusty outside with the warm soft chocolatey center. The sandwich was on the fluffiest focaccia bread I've ever had, but I do wish there was a tiny bit more meat/fillings to bring this over the top. Staff is patient, kind, and very helpful! We were hungry, and in the area when someone recommended we try this bakery. It was a quick drive from where we were, so we gave it a try. It was located off what seemed to be a main road in the area, and it was a little hidden gem. It is a quaint little bakery, and you could tell the owners really loved it/worked really hard. The service was wonderful. The woman working behind the counter was also the owner, and she had a way of making each of her customers feel welcomed. Our only mistake was that we arrived at the end of the day, close to closing time. With that, our options were limited. The food itself was probably the closest food to what I've had in Italy in the US. Everything that should have been flakey was. Love supporting small businesses that offer quality and warm service. Everything is super fresh and delicious - so far have tried the flatbread and bombolone. A wonderful store filled with the smell of freshly baked bread. Daje is owned by a couple who bakes everything daily. The baked goods are delicious from the croissants to the bombolonis (Italian donuts) and the fresh foccocia and pizza. I'll need to go back to have a panini. It's everything that the other reviews say -- artisanal breads, rolls and topped focaccias that you'll be tempted to fill your car with (unless you're lucky enough to live nearby). The friendly owners are there behind the counter modestly describing the various offerings, each more tempting than the last. My sincere sympathy to those who can't or won't eat gluten as I'm not sure whether they have any gluten free products. Oh, and the prices are very reasonable, which helps me to justify the gas I use just to get there. If only it was closer to home... read more

DAJA pronounced Da Yay, is a wonderful and truly legit bakery. Their bread and baked ahead pizzas are delicious. The croissants are better than anything I've had in Paris or other bakery. Go early as they sell out daily. read more

The bread, croissants, Italian doughnuts.... You name it everything is so delicious and affordable. Two weeks ago I went by about 1 o'clock give or take and there was a sign on the door "sold out except for doughnuts." That taught me to go earlier. You can also call and the owners are so nice they will put aside your order until you can get there. This is such a nice addition to Medfield. Quaint little bakery with potential to be a lovely bakery-cafe. The food and service are very good, selections are limited. The hours really don't work for the morning crowd headed to work with a 9am open. Ideally, for me, a delicious bakery item and hot coffee at 8am makes this a perfect stop. read more
