There is nothing better than coming to. Bubbling Brook for a soft serve on a summer night! They have the best soft serve anywhere Classic retro feel 5 stars!!

A childhood treat... Always delicious. Just passing through on my way to the airport. If you're in the area, this needs to be your go to place for ice cream... Soft serve ice cream to the right and hard serve ice cream to the left!

I love these types of restaurants. Everything is take out and they have a lot picnic tables in the back. They have a lot of food options and many flavors of soft and hard serve ice cream. I had a hot dog with fries and the bun was toasted to perfection. I also had a cup of the clam chowder. The food was great and comes out quick. For ice cream I had the raspberry swirl with sprinkles. It was hard to pick a flavor because there were so many. A nice spot to stop by on a nice day.

I returned to this local favorite for ice cream after a few years. I was happily surprised that the service has drastically improved and ice cream is just as great. The parking is better too. Lastly, they have food trucks selling meals too now.

Seasonal ice cream spot & restaurant. This location is always busy during the warmer months. They have an extensive list of hard & soft ice cream with window service & a fully functional restaurant inside. There is a large grassy area with lots of picnic tables for seating. Took away one star for inflated price / small serving size.

Long line for food. Empty lines for ice cream.

This place was a real sh_ t show. They have about a dozen ordering windows. Only 1 is dedicated to ordering food. The rest are for ordering ice cream. When I arrived, there were easily a dozen people in the food line. But all the ice cream lines were empty. I finally got to the front to order. Order my cheeseburger and tried to order a mocha cappuccino soft serve flavor burst cone. I was told that I couldn't order soft serve at a food window. I could order hard serve ice cream with my food. But not soft serve. WTF??? Seriously- who makes these stupid rules? They finally call my name since my cheeseburger is ready. I go pick it up. I ask where I can get ketchup. They tell me that ketchup is in the bag. I finally go sit down at the picnic table with my friends. Open my bag. No ketchup. Really. Why did you have to lie to me? I will never go back to this place. 3 strikes and you are out. What a sh _ t show.

They had sit-down dining, burgers, dogs, clams, scallops, and now ice cream only. Disappointing

Love their different dips on the soft serve. Great hard ice cream also. Huge choice of flavors. I just wish they were open year round!

I had the chicken club sandwich and kids had a burger. Nice outdoor seating, quick and easy lunch. No complaints!

After bowling with friends and their kids, we decided we needed a little extra sweet treat! Just…read morearound the corner, we were able to walk to JP Licks and get something tasty! There was just a short line when we got there, which gave us time to review their many flavors options. There was just line move quick and before we knew it we were at the front and the pressure was on. As a big fan of Oreos/cookies and creams I was intrigued by the multiple flavors of cookies and cream that started with a different base than the typical vanilla ice cream. I went with the salted caramel cookies and creams, and was glad I did. Absolutely delicious! There is some inside seating but not much. It seems most take theirs to roam and shop at other stores. Overall, it was a tasty visit, with some unique flavors, friendly staff even in the hectic atmosphere. Pricing was a bit, I'm sure due to their rent, but with 5 other cookies and cream variations, I'll definitely be stopping in next time I'm in the area again!

"When I was a young man, no bigger than this A chocolate egg…read morecream was not to be missed Some U Bet's Chocolate Syrup, seltzer water and milk You stir it up into a heady 'fro, tasted just like silk" (Lou Reed) There are seventeen J. P. Licks scattered around Metro Boston, so if you live out here the odds are excellent you've been to one and know what they sell. But if you live outside of Boston (like I do) the odds are pretty good you're not familiar with them, as I was not. So, here's a word of advice, if you have plans on visiting one for the first time, you really ought to do yourself a favor and scrutinize their menu before you visit. Otherwise, you'll be gawking at their incredible menu board for half an hour. You'll have to whittle down your selection between hard and soft ice creams, hard and soft yogurts, frappes, smoothies, sundaes, splits, ice cream cakes and pies and sandwiches and cupcakes, a coffee bar and a bakery with scones, coffee cake, muffins, cookies, pop tarts, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, bagels, croissants, and more. Everything is listed on a long menu board that spans the full-size ordering counter, so it's not very easy to see everything unless you strut the length of the counter, so that's why I suggest a little reconnaissance. Our grand kiddies wanted hot chocolates, so we got them a small ($3.75) and a medium ($4.25). They drank them up, but I did mooch one sip and loved it - deep chocolate flavor and not overpoweringly sweet. My wife and I returned to our Bronx roots and shared a chocolate egg cream ($5.90) and it was as good as I remember getting at our soda shop under the elevated D Train subway tracks on Jerome Avenue. Just a perfect blend of carbonated chocolate milk. Quite a wonderful flashback.

We walked into a fun, nostalgic space with a large menu board packed with flavors, toppings, sundaes, frappes, and specialty desserts. The shop has a welcoming, family-friendly energy with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the bright, cheerful interior adds to the classic ice cream parlor feel. The steady flow of customers reflected its popularity as a local favorite, and the lively atmosphere made it a pleasant place to stop for a sweet treat. We stopped by for a milkshake, and it was thick, creamy, and made with real ice cream. The flavor was rich without being overly sweet, and the consistency was exactly what you look for in a good milkshake. The shake stayed thick throughout, never becoming watery, and the flavor held up well from the first sip to the last. The portions are generous, and there are plenty of flavor combinations to customize your order, with options ranging from classic chocolate and vanilla to more creative seasonal flavors. Even with a steady flow of customers, the staff kept things moving efficiently and were friendly throughout our visit, handling the line with speed and a welcoming demeanor. The large selection can take a minute to look through, but it is part of what makes this place stand out, giving you the chance to explore different combinations on each visit. Daddy's Dairy is a great spot for dessert, whether you are stopping in for a quick milkshake or planning to explore their huge variety of ice cream flavors. The quality of the ice cream, generous portions, and welcoming atmosphere make it easy to see why it is a local favorite, offering a classic dessert experience that feels both nostalgic and satisfying.

Their delivery packaging is excellent - I've gotten soup and drinks that always arrive at a great temperature despite traveling from Dedham to Canton. I think that what I love the most is you're eating food that's good for you, but it still tastes delicious and not like you're depriving yourself of anything. Their cold pressed juices are DELICIOUS - the Morning Moxie is one of my favorite juices ever and the beet juice is also delicious. The avocado greens salad with the everything crusted avocado is SO good and the Mexicali Tostada salad is another of my favorites (I always get extra dressing of each - it's SO good). I've also ordered the Chili Garlic noodles that have the perfect amount of heat with the gochujang sauce. The avocado chocolate mousse is the perfect way to end a meal - it is a go-to for me EVERY time I order (and I'm not usually a dessert person). It's so indulgent and delicious - highly recommend! The portions here are also massive so a salad or bowl can easily be two meals, which is another positive. I genuinely look forward to ordering from here during each visit to the area and can't wait for them to roll out their spring specials!
