This is seriously the best little boutique I've been to for cardigans and hoodies. They have really nice, casual dresses too. But over 50% of my closest is comprised of the clothing in this store. There's only two that I know of -- one in Brea and the other is in Mission Viejo, the latter which has a bigger store and selection. I favor the one in Brea though -- they seem to stock more often and have better sales events, in my opinion. Their hoodies, sweaters, and cardigans are really a unique style (kind of cute + classy all in one) so I've got over a dozen of each since I'm an outer wear lover and this place has that for all seasons! Love the Daisy Shoppe. As for the staff, I guess I agree that they aren't exactly the friendliest or most genuine feeling people but hey, they work in service and I don't expect anyone to actually care. The clothing is all I really want and they've never given me a hard time when I'm shopping. Most everything here is non-refundable for cash (you can possibly get store credit though) so expect that. This is explained on a sign by their register, so its really not their fault if people can't read it. Plus, they've reminded me of the return policy whenever I've purchased something. read more

I visited the San Clemente location and was impressed with the clothing they offered . I bought two short rompers and a beautiful green and beige tropical print midi. The service was great. So much to look at and many racks and displays to peruse. Very attractive merchandising and the person that assisted me to the fitting room was friendly . Found a couple of outfits online for a certain price. Went into the San Clemente store to buy them and they would not honor the price. There was nothing stating these were "online prices" only. They were the same thing. Bought them anyway. They don't fit. I live in Orange and was told by the San Clemente store I can return them at the Brea Mall store. They rudely told me they cannot. I'm now out this money because I refuse to ever step foot in one of these stores again after the way I was treated at both stores. So hurt and disappointed. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! I would stay away from this place, horrible customer service! I purchased an item to wear for my daughter's college graduation. Upon removing the tag to wear the item I noticed that there were 2 different spots (one on the front/one in the back) where there was clearly manufacturer defects in the dye. It's so sad that a place like this still gains the customers they do because of the incredibly terrible service. I've been there multiple times and never once have I not been stared at and not helped or made feel uncomfortable. The last time I went is why I'm here writing this. I left the store after not finding anything I liked and was chased out by an older lady while her co workers peaked out the window. I was immediately told "did you buy that" (she was talking about a cardigan I was wearing) as if they didn't all see me walk in with it. Never once did I take it off or anything of that matter. So why run after someone and FALSELY ACCUSE THEM OF STEALING???? THEY WERE WATCHING ME THE WHOLE TIME. But get this, she asked me to lift up my arms so she can check if I was honest, in which I stupidly did, and she TOUCHED ME TO FIND THE TAGS. Honestly I was in shock. Personally, I don't like people touching me so what in the right mind made her think she can touch a customer?? After not finding any tags because no I didn't steal from them, she looked surprised and started saying sorry through her smile. You're saying sorry with a smile? Not genuine. This is something I could totally take further, however, the time isn't on my hands. This experience made me completely uncomfortable as anyone else would. Do better. It'll be a while before I go back to the Brea location. As we walked into the store we were greeted with "ladies, we are closing at 6pm". I honestly didn't even realize what time it was but I thought it was a extremely rude and disrespectful way to greet a customer. I have no problem with someone giving me a heads up that a store is closing shortly but it was 5:45pm. We felt extremely unwelcomed, we maybe stayed 5 minutes at most. During that short time other customers came in and were greeted the same way. Bottom line, cute store, cute items but poor and rude customer service. read more

This used to be my favorite store to shop in when I lived in Brea. I visited the store this past weekend and wow, has it changed. I could not shop in the store for very long because of the stares from employees, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Wow. So I was just in here earlier today and overheard an employee tell a customer "congratulations." The customer asked "for what?" and the employee said "oh I thought you were pregnant." When the customer said no, she started playing it off about her wearing a baggy shirt. The customer said she was just chubby, and the employee, instead of apologizing, starts saying things like "oh me too." It got extremely awkward and quiet. The worst part is the employee never apologized. A DIFFERENT employee apologized for her coworker. I didn't even buy anything at that point. The uncomfortable factor was at an 11 out of 10 and I had to get out of there. Female customers beware! read more

I've been to this shop twice for a friend and myself,in those times the workers would not stop staring at us making the shopping time very uncomfortable and unnecessary, my friend had bought a cardigan from them a week ago and I was very surprised by their quality that I wanted one myself, we went a few days ago to see if they had the color I wanted sadly they didn't so I tried a different option and compared it with my friends cardigan but at the end I decided on not getting anything and the older lady that works at this shop had thought my friend stole the cardigan and ran out to approach us and had touched her and made my friend very uncomfortable and it was very unnecessary daisy shop do better have better trained employees no one wants to come to a shop with Poor customer service. read more

I really do love this place. Its so cute and they have dresses that I can actually put these 38dd's in (which can be very difficult). Its not your forever 21 when it comes to pricing. U'll definitely spend a little more, but the next time your in the mall 30 girls wont have on the shirt your wearing. The customer service is great. I wish they had mirrors in the dressing rooms, but that gives me an excuse to show off so I can't take away star for that. They have a mailing list they send out coupons and update you on sales and such. At least stop by and have a looksy. It's a great store. read more

Lovely, sparkly and super cute store! They carry cute clothing for various occasions from casual to a wedding party. You get a sense of being girly, but at the same time classy. All I wanted to do is touch everything from kitchenware supplies, accessories, jewelry, handbags and books, but I resisted from getting too distracted. (I looked like a "phat" kid in a candy store.) One thing that got me into the store was their dresses that were shown on their window displays. They do a wonderful work on not going way over board, but selecting items that are just right for customers to go inside to check out. I quickly grabbed a few dresses to try on and I got immediate attention from a young female staff. She was very friendly and helpful. She offered me to start a fitting room and pulled out more dresses for me. Very nice! I could not make up my decision because I wanted another person's opinion and also they didn't have to size that I needed. She told me that the store will hold the dress until closing time. If I can't come in before, then I can call the store to hold it for another day. Double awesome! ***Flash Forward to the next day*** I called the store the next morning. A friendly woman answered the phone. I asked if they still had the dress I tried on yesterday and double checked if they had my size. Yes, they did! I told her I'll stop by after lunch. I ended up talking to the store manager. She was very helpful and also knew her products really well. My mom and I went inside the store. Another nice female staff offered to help and I told her I put a dress on hold. She pulled it out for me. Before I entered the fitting room, the manager double checked the dress was on hold for a customer. I told her it was for me. :) After trying on the dress, my mom said "Yes to the dress!" I also went outside for a better lighting. The manager complimented the dress on me. So, I quickly changed and went straight to the register with a big smile on my face. I am very happy to say that I found an affordable and inexpensive reception dress for my wedding for under $60. Who needs to know how much I have spent? And...I can wear it more the once! This is a very cute boutique store. The dresses and the shirts remind me of clothes you see in Anthropologie. And there are a wide variety of girly dresses in many different colors. Prices run a bit higher then average. Dresses run between $35 - $60, but they do have a sales rack. I've been to many fashion stores, and I noticed that a dress I bought at another store for about $20 was being sold here for about $35. The original tag in the back had been resown on a Daisy Shoppe tag. So, not everything here is completely unique or original. The dressing rooms don't have mirrors, so if you try something on, you have to come outside and have everyone see you. Which may work for some girls, but I prefer the privacy of the dressing room to make my final decision. If the store is running a promotion, once you make a purchase they will send you coupons through email or snail mail. The coupon usually requires a minimum purchase before you get the discount. read more

The return policy is rather strict but each time I've made a purchase the cashier always made sure I understood I could only get store credit before purchasing. Super cute unique boutique! They have the cutest accessories, home accessories, and cute gifting ideas!Along with women's & ladies blouses, cardigans, summer or nighttime dresses! Got help from a super sweet employee by the name of Gigi super efficient and great sense of style! I couldn't find my size in this perfect Jean jacket dress I wanted really bad so she called the other daisy shoppe store and is going to have it shipped over to the brea location for no extra charge! Went in here to look around and there were three employees (guessing the older Korean lady is the manager?) by the front entrance and not one person said hi. Not like they were busy stocking the shelves either. Two started to chit chat right next to me. The other one walked right around me and shoved me a little to her by. -_- Wow? Seriously? We went back and an associate scanned the tag and said it would be no problem to exchange; she took the shirt and told us to find a replacement item for an exchange. The middle aged white blonde woman with a surgical scar on the back of her neck, who is either the store manager or owner, is completely foul. She came out from the back and started RIPPING into the sales associate saying that they are not allowed to do exchanges and that she was an idiot for doing this. She was very rude and not willing to work with us. She handed the shirt back to my wife and said they would not exchange it because it was from their Mission Viejo store (which is the same store, both family owned by the same people). It was actually purchased from this Brea store but was the size was "special ordered" out of the Mission Viejo store because they didn't have it in stock. It WAS purchased from Brea. The woman was extremely foul to both her employee and customers. We will not be returning. I recommend that whomever is reading this review likewise not give your money to these terrible people either. read more

Sometimes they're forcing some friendliness towards me as I enter the store; however, for the most part, they just completely ignore me and never ask if I need any assistance. The clothes are cute but expensive. Of all the times I've walked in to look at clothes none of the employees come to say hi to me or check up on me. So I would never buy anything. This time around I was determined to look for a cute dress and I finally found one in the store. I came in and no one greeted me. I asked for a room to try on 2 dresses. I came out and the older Filipino lady with short hair asked if they worked out and I said I was still deciding but she took the dresses asking if I wanted to put it on hold and I said yes. But then I saw her put both dresses back where I got it from while I was still in the store. She did not put it on hold thinking I was not going to buy one? That was really rude of her. But, I loved the dress so much I bought it. And the same lady wrung me up and she didn't even say "thank you. bye" till after I said it first as I was walking out the door. They carry cute dresses and accessories although the price is a bit high. The store is not big but has a variety of collection. I think they often have a half off sale on the accessories. I don't always shop here, but whenever I stop by, the staff are nice and everything is just cute :) read more

Daisy Shoppe has the cutest clothes at affordable prices! I've bought items from here a handful of times and have always been pleased. The first time I stopped by the shoppe was in the afternoon...2 hours before a concert at a country club. My dress had to be "appropriate" for the venue. I had been running around the Brea Mall all afternoon and not found a thing...until I stopped by the Daisy Shoppe. The dress I ended up buying was perfect for the evening. Anything that I have bought and worn from Daisy Shoppe always gets a compliment. I will continue to shop here! read more

I've gone into this store a few times since it has opened. Although it can be a bit pricey, they have some great finds too! I absolutely love how dainty it is, and the little trinket gifts they have available. I felt a bit intimidated the first time I went, due to the employees being such "classy" women, but once you talk to them, they're very kind for the most part! I was assisted by Evelyn (I believe that's her name), and I told her I didn't want to waste too much of her time trying to assist me in finding new pieces for a new wardrobe, and she reassured me that it is very common for her to find a whole new wardrobe for customers, and it's perfectly fine if I walk out without anything new in hand. With that, I was able to shop with ease. The racks are color-coordinated, and the sale rack is also coordinated, which I LOVE! Overall, I had a dandy experience - all thanks to Evelyn! read more

I used to shop here very often, but since my last purchase I was very disappointed. I never got to wear it before it was broken and the clothes here are not cheap. I had taken the tag off because I was going to wear it so I called ahead of time to see if I can exchange they said yes. I went to store and one associate was very kind and said no problem I can find something similar since they didn't have the same size in the same item. I started looking and trying mothers on then when I found something and come out of dressing room another associate comes out named Evelyn and says I can't exchange cuz it's been washed. It had never been washed cuz it's dry clean only and I never wore it. So they finally decide after talking to store manager that they will repair the item. Evelyn says to write down my info and she will email or text me when the item is fixed and then with the tracking number. I never got a text it had been a week and half so I call the store and they say it's been ready they are waiting for the ups sticker to send it, so I will get a text Tomorrow. When three days go by and I never got a text or email but I got my item back. It is not repaired well. I could have done it. And now the item looks worse than before with it broken. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service and the quality of the item and the repair. So sad because I used to shop here all the time but now will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

You can't beat the personal service here. The last time I was at the shop I came in with my husband *literally* an hour before we had to drive down to San Diego for a wedding and the two salespeople working at the time ran around the shop like my own personal shoppers and chose a slew of dresses for me to try on. Because of their personal attention, I ended up purchasing two dresses (one for a later date -- never know when you might need a pretty dress!) as well as coordinating accessories that they had selected for me. I model for this beautiful store once in a while, and I have the time of my life looking for clothes there! I really want to just take everything that they kindly let me wear for them! I am for sure going to get my Promotion dress there! And they DO, have the CUTEST rings at The Daisy Shoppe! It's maybe a 30 minute drive for me, but its TOTALLY worth it when i get there!
