Wineries are in business to hopefully make a minimal profit in order to maintain what they do offering you quality award winning wines. Wineries, to be competitive in Southern Oregon must also have music and some selection of food to offer their customers. These venues are not a public setting in a park where you may bring a picnic lunch and your own beverage and enjoy the music at your leisure. Wineries have to pay for the music you came to listen to which comes out of the price of a glass or bottle that you might enjoy while you're in attendance. To think that one can sit and watch a venue at a winery without at least purchasing a beverage is incredibly naive and disrespectful of a business. Daisy Creek remains our top go to winery in all of Southern Oregon because of their wines, service, music, and setting. read more

This is one of the finest vineyards in southern Or. the owners that run it themselves are so kind and friendly, it is truly a feel good ambiance. I must admit that on some occasions when we have been there to enjoy their wonderful wines and music, my husband and I have noticed some tables of several people that just come for freebee music , they only get a glass of water and listen to the music. This is incredibly rude, as this is a winery, not a music venue. These are the people that are giving this wonderful winery a bad revue.....DO NOT listen to their reviews as it is not true. read more

I was very pleasantly surprised at the venue and as I entered the setting was so beautiful. I imagined returning with some other friends at a future time. But the customer service was horrible. Never have I ever been witness to staff treatment of customers in such a way. I would not recommend this place or ever return. One of the guests at the table a very classy older woman was treated terribly. When brought to managments attention the extreme rudness was only justified because they didn't appreciate other people showing up to just picnic at their vineyard. This is no excuse to take out your business concerns on 82 year old woman. This appears to be situation of a business struggling. read more

We happened to find it on a Saturday about an hour and a half before closing. It seemed to be busier than the staff/owners were prepared for, but they were very courteous and friendly. They had us come to the cashier station to order, and then brought our flights and food to the table. My only complaint (hence the star deduction) was that they didn't provide any tasting comments. We would've loved a "this is our lovely 2020 vintage that resembles blackberries until you begin tasting the pepper" and all that. It really makes the difference when you stop in at a tasting room, you know? But their chips & dip platter was scrumptious and generous, the cheese plate was perfect, and the chocolate plate was AMAZING. We enjoyed the wines but would have probably enjoyed them more with some context. I do recommend a visit... and the views were great from the outdoor seating area too. read more

Apparently, this winery doesn't want new customers. I liked their wine before I ever went there and was excited to visit the tasting room. My friend and I had two different flights in addition to two individual glasses of wine and a charcuterie plate. I wanted to buy some wine to take home, and when my friend went to buy it for me they didn't give her the member price in spite of all we had just bought. Needless to say they don't seem to want to engender goodwill, or have a clue about customer service at all. I have since talked to other wineries and wine makers about this because it was such an irritating experience. Everyone agrees this was a big mistake on their part, so i am happy to tell the story about their pettiness. So even if you are with a member and you are buying wine, they won't give you the member price. Is that any way to attract new members and keep existing ones? read more

Nothing special. Just like any other tasting room. Nothing too special. They were pushing their 2013 Malbec and counting Down the available bottles but personally I did not find it pleasing. Can I just say the truffle pig is amazing??? They're a food cart the winery had outside and their food was SO good!!!! Talked with the owners a bit and they do private events and weddings. I grew up in Southern Oregon during the "wine boom" and have seen many wineries and vineyards try to church up their wine with fancy tasting rooms and ostentatious wine descriptions. All good wines very consistent. The rosé was very nice with strong flavors of cherry and a nice aftertaste. Syrah, viognier and even merlot. This winery had a variety of wines to offer. Socially-distanced tables underneath apple trees with a view and n the vineyards & live music in the middle. No tasting flights right now but I was dithering between 2, told the waitress which ones I was debating between, & asked her advice. She selected one (which I accepted) and brought me a taste of the other to compare. Lovely wines & lovely service! Amazing vineyard hidden behind a nice newer neighborhood! CAME on a Friday and had the pleasure of being served by Susie. She was super sweet, friendly and a joy to talk to while we tasted some amazing red wines! We also saw the owner Russ tending to the grape vines. He's 80 and still working hard out in 100 degree weather! That's why these wines are so good! My favorite was the merlot reserve and syrah! read more

This winery has an absolutely gorgeous venue for gatherings and events. We attended a catered party there and it was lovely. We bought a bottle of their Viognier to pair with the catered meal. Delicious. Plenty of parking among the trees in the orchard--even the parking lot is beautiful! If I had a relative looking for a wedding venue, I'd recommend Daisy Creek Winery. Plus, this winery is located right in town--walking distance to the inns if you would rather walk than drive. read more
