We swung through here last weekend with a group of friends. Our group included 2 babies, and it's not every winery that it's easy to take little kiddos to. These folks were incredibly kind, very attentive, and we were very comfortable. I participated in the varietal tasting, which was wonderful. Can't say enough about the staff team and our experience! This Port-style Pinot Noir is ready for its solo. Finale was worth the wait...even though I dropped the ball on tonight's dinner: I forgot to pick up veggies to pair with the Filet Mignon's. Finale saved my meal. Unfortunately, the Mr is now obsessed with Finale and has instructed me to place as order for more. He's a fan of Port, I knew he'd enjoy this wine, but I didn't expect him to fall in love. Thanks to my bestie who agreed to pick up a bottle when she was in Medford. Sadly my wallet is going to feel some pain soon, but gosh darn it, Finale is incredibly delicious. If you're a fan of Port, but enjoy a dry Pinot Noir, you'll likely enjoy Finale. Had a wonderful experience at DANCIN Vineyards. Melissa and John were amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, and full of great conversation and recommendations. I did the red flight in the tasting room featuring the 2023 Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, and Barbera. All three were amazing! I also ordered the stuffed mushrooms with a side of the Pinot marinara and some bread. Everything was absolutely delicious and paired well with the wines. We had a really pleasant experience sitting outside on the patio. The place is absolutely beautiful and the food options are very good. I personally didn't think the wines here were my favorites but my party thought they were pretty good. I did like the Rose. The service was excellent. Our server, Madison, was super nice and efficient. They close a little early IMO, I wish they were open later in the evening especially during Summer. Parking is also very easy and the area is just amazing. This place would be a solid four star but...... there just things I could not get over. When we first walked up to the host stand there was no one there and after a few minutes a person walked by saying someone will be right with you. About another 5-10 minutes goes by and finally someone comes up to us. By this time another set of people had come up behind us and asked us if we knew what was going on. So then we were shown to our seat. But then we started waiting before anyone came over to help us. I think after about 15 minutes I finally flagged someone down to take our order. As a vineyard we want to have a few suggestions and try a few different wines but it didn't seem the person who was helping us had the patience to walk us through the wine selection. We ended up getting the flight and here's where I can actually talk about the food. The flight was very lacking. But I know the winery is not bad! We went in afterwards to try different wines to see if we can buy one. The starter was very mild and bland. I was hoping for more taste or surprises as it looked very well seasoned. The flat bread (pizza) was ok I wouldn't say I was shocked or surprised by it. The Benedict was not too bad, the sauce and ingredients were fresh and tasteful. The bake was a little bland and I think could use with a little more seasoning. Through out this process though, there was no service and I had to again chase down someone for the bill and to pay. read more

Incredible wines and equally incredible food with a great view and super amazing service. Came here with a larger group for wine and dinner and couldn't be happier with our experience. Our server was so sweet, super knowledgeable and guided us on the perfect wine pairings with our meal. The stuffed mushrooms, meatballs and spinach artichoke dip were highlights of the appetizers. They had a lovely prosecco for a toast and the red blends were so tasty with the first portion. We ended up splitting 3 pizzas, and all of there were really, really tasty. The standouts were actually the margarita and the salmon pizza. I didn't get a pic of the salmon pizza, but the smoked salmon and sauce were so light and tasty. Great pickled pops from the capers and a really great crust. The margarita surprisingly was one of the best executions of a margarita I've had. The balance of the cheeses were spot on, lots of good salt on that great crust. Even though it was a warm evening, the outdoor seating was all covered and fairly cool. We were promptly greeted by a hostess, assigned a table overlooking their pond and expansive vineyard, and given some menus. They do food and wine. We were just here to try the wine. Our server showed up shortly afterwards. We ordered the Rosé/White flight (Rosé and two Chardonnays) and the red flight (two Pinot Noirs and a Sangiovese). All the wines were excellent. We made reservations at Dancin for Easter brunch. What a disappointment. They were disorganized, appeared to be stressed thus not welcoming or gracious at all. In fact, we were treated like people who had not made reservations even though we made reservations two months in advance. We were seated quickly but didn't get served water, cutlery, etc. for quite a while. Our server was not warm or welcoming; she appeared to be too busy. After we placed our orders it took a long time to get served. When we were finally served the food was quite simply mediocre. That was the consensus around the entire table of 12 people. Unfortunately, some people received food that was cold. Believe me, we will not come back here for Easter brunch or any other major event . Our consensus recommendation to Dancin is that you hire someone who is planful, experienced, and a leader if you are going to do events of this magnitude in the future. A relaxing environment punctuated by a large outdoor patio with plenty of shade. The view from the front deck is a beautiful example of the southern Oregon mix of brown fields and forested hills. The food is diverse - including plenty gf options. The wine offerings are available in flights, glasses and bottles. For the non-wine drinking members of your group, they offer a unique range of cocktail drinks and Italian sodas. We tried the wine and rosé flights. The wines were all bright and acid forward. The perfect patio wine for a hot summer day. By far the best part of our experience was the service. We met a delightful young person who was friendly, personable and knowledgeable. Magical in every sense of the word! This vineyard sits on the backside of hills and is just an amazing view, do yourself a favor and sit outside! The wine flight is highly recommended! So many flavors and a well educated staff on pairings. The formaggio board was perfect for resetting the palette. Might sound strange, but the pickles and red peppers on the flight were unmatched, to the point we asked if they sell them separately lol. (They don't, but did hook us up with some to go) I highly recommend the Pas De Chat (Red), such a perfect blend and so good I bought a bottle to take with us! One of my favorite winery in the valley. They started offering brunch so definitely had to try some. The braised short ribs was deliciously tender with rich sauce, served perfectly cooked hash. Visited while in town from Texas and really did enjoy the wine and location. My husband and I decided to become members so that we could enjoy the wine back home on a regular basis. Fast forward to a year later and all I can say is it doesn't matter how good the wine is, the customer service is not, and unfortunately, the bad taste in our mouth from our interactions, overpowers the delicious wine that they create. We've canceled our membership and will look to support another local vineyard elsewhere. Perhaps if you're local, the membership makes sense, but if you're an out-of-tower like we were, I'd say don't expect stellar communication, or treatment when you need assistance. read more

Had an absolutely lovely early afternoon noon at Dancin. The food was divine as we found the mushrooms, tuna tartare and seafood paired well with the wine we chose: a Sangiovese and a Pinot noir but then we love their red wine with everything. A huge reason for choosing Dancin is the ambiance. Dining above the enchanting koi pond while overlooking the vineyards is an experience that I always look forward to and it never disappoints. We got there at 6:30pm during their winter hours, which means the kitchen closed at 7pm. Driving in, it's a small road, next to their vineyard and at the end, lighted with fairy lights was the restaurant, welcoming all its guests. The lights, the grape vines, the restaurant is all so beautiful. We sat outside and while there was a bit of natural light left we were able to enjoy the view. They also have a "closed" outside area for when the weather gets cold, or rainy, and it is perfectly decorated for a wine tasting atmosphere. We looked at the menu quickly and decided to share some small plates. 1. Stuffed Mushrooms - I could have ordered a second plate of these. They load the mushrooms with Italian Sausage, Chardonnay Cream, and Parmesan and it's absolutely amazing! 4/ plate so we were able to get 2 each. But again, I wanted more! 2. Antipasti - this is their charcuterie board. Wished the bread it came with was more like a crostini but loved the selection of meats and cheeses, plus the nuts, olives and cherries. 3. Alfredo Pesto Pizza/ Flatbread - this was one of their specials that day and we just had to try it. Dough was perfectly baked with chicken, tomato, fresh basil, and a creamy alfredo pesto sauce that really made this pizza different and wonderful. To pair the food, we each got a flight of their wines. When we wanted to order a full glass of one, we were already after 7pm so not able to do so but, our server very nicely helped us out and allowed us to taste the 2 we wanted. After that we agreed on the one we liked the most and bought a bottle to go. DANCIN was a great date night to start our trip, and a place I highly recommend to anyone for any occasion. read more

A very beautiful venue. I paid for the pairing menu and for my entree I got what was suppose to be lobster and Mac was just Mac n cheese. Showed server my amt of lobster which was 1 piece about an inch longitude asked her for more meat and I never received it. Our dinner was over and when I asked my ticket to be adjusted, she said they couldn't adjust bc it was apart of the pairing menu and couldn't be adjusted. I was very disappointed with this. Add the fantastic live music experience and you start to feel like DANCIN is just showing off. :) Wine flights gave us a chance to try five of their selections - Chardonnay, Pinot Noir x3, and Syrah. Our friendly server gave great descriptions of what we had before us but we were drinking throughout appetizers and dinner so it all just tasted good. Appetizers: stuffed mushrooms - my gosh these were delish. The mushrooms were perfectly tender and filled with tasty sausage/cheese and topped with a Chardonnay cream sauce and drizzled with a balsamic glaze. It hits all the notes of salt, fat, acid, sweet. Salad: mixed greens with barley, pecorino, fresh blueberries and a creamy tarragon dressing. I'm actually not sure I've ever had that tasty combo before but now want to recreate it at home. Entree: wood fired pizza - hubby ate every morsel and gave it a stamp of approval. Crust had a good chew to it and it was charred well, topped with a flavorful sauce, tomatoes that tasted right off the vine, and a good bit of fresh mozzarella. Dessert: as if he had any room left for more, hubby didn't want to miss out on the smoked s'mores. It came with some fun tableside flair but he could only take a couple sweet bites.
