The owner Kim is typically close by as well. The wine is very reasonably priced as well as the tastings. Their petite syrah and viognier are awesome! One of the winery gems in the Eagle Point area! All the wines are exquisite, which one you like best one often asks, well, it depends on what I am eating! Never fails, there is a wine to select for every food group, from starter course , entree to dessert. You will not fail to find a compliment taste. This is a total gem. Bought six bottles. We loved all the wines she poured. Winery is laid back, relaxed and excellent.

What a gem. We drive from Klamath Falls looking to taste some Oregon wines to compare with our California experience. We stumbled across Agate Ridge on our way to Medford. And, we're glad we did! My favorite was the 2013 Primitivo. The Pinot Noir was excellent as well. It's not nearly as jammy as Oregon wines; instead it had nice florals with a smooth finish. We also bought the Viognier, which is a Double Gold winner. read more

We went to a lovely wedding last summer at Agate Ridge Winery. Beautiful tasting room and vineyard. Love that the vineyard, winery, and tasting room are all in one spot and their wine is from their own grapes! Every wine I tried was fantastic! Came here with a couple of friends on our way back from crater lake. Agate Ridge is a great find, and worth the a drive. My wife and I have been there a couple of times in the past few weeks and it's been a great experience both times. Conversations with Nicole are always fun. Southern Oregon keeps on surprising me on a daily basis, and this gem is no different! Pulling up to the property, I felt as if I had just gone back in time to the Napa Valley 30 Years ago. Before things exploded and some wineries lost sight of the nuts and bolts of wine making. In a time when we all want to get back to the more simplistic side of life this winery is worth it! Located in Central Point, Kim Kinderman's beautiful little winery gives you that simplistic, hard working, love of what they do sense about it and is reflected in the quality of their wines. Go into the farmhouse and meet one of Kim's prized staff members (one of four) and taste the bounty before you. Mark my words, this is going to be an up and coming winery. It is reflected in the awards they continue to win and are gaining more on a daily basis. The staff are very hands on, and no job is beneath them. Grab your glass and walk out to the picnic tables out back then...check out the view. Every vine on the 35 acres were planted by Kim and her staff. When the community said she was crazy to even think about planting something...Kim planted it anyway. Her success is due to her love of what she does and she doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon! read more

Nice place even though it felt like it was in the middle of nowhere. This is not located in some of the nicer areas you see other Oregon wineries but once we got inside it was worth it. We were travelling with two dogs and they welcomed both which was very much appreciated. My husband had a beer and I did a wine tasting flight. Wine was good and I ended up buying a few bottles. People working there were very nice and sociable. Definitely recommend! read more

We recently took a road trip from Marin County to Ashland for a few days and wound up staying five nights. Reading through the local tourist paper on the Applegate trail, I made note of Agate Ridge Winery in Eagle Point because they had just taken a gold and two silvers in a competition. On our return from Crater Lake, I stopped to inquire where the winery was, and, the next day - a gorgeous Saturday, we arrived at Agate. The staff was just wonderful, and Kim was offering to take us all out into the vineyard on her flatbed filled with hay bales. We quickly got through our tasting and loaded up for a wonderful trip through the vines. I'm sorry now I didn't join their club although I was graciously given a 10% discount for purchasing 6 bottles. We have only tried the Viognier so far and it's gorgeous! Kim took the time to write out directions to Rogue Creamery, another must stop. We have decided to make Agate Ridge an annual cellar fill up. Just a super experience. read more

We live in California but feel like neighbors. We serve their wine all the time to friends and everyone loves it. This is the best winery in the area. You must visit here.
