Crooked barn winery is a nice stop on the wine tour or just a good place to stop for a tasting. The owners are super nice and very knowledgeable about their products. Stop by and see them sit and talk a while. You will learn a lot about the process and the different notes in each flavor. read more

We were visiting Ashland for our 25 th anniversary weekend and booked a private wine tour. Robbie picked us up at our hotel and provided a fun afternoon of great stops. All beautiful wineries with great wine selections and opportunities for food. The burrata bruschetta was a nice complement to our wine. Robbie had great knowledge on the history of the area and the wines and wineries making this a very enjoyable afternoon. She even introduced us to the owner of one of the wineries and he was the kindest, most welcoming gentleman. All and all a great day and we have a few bottles to enjoy later! The owner/ Operator, Robbie Ross, picked us up , at home, for our 5 hour tour. There were just three of us. She arrived at precisely the time she said she would . She set the three-winery itinerary according to our requests. Wine tasting fees were included in the price. The Hopper van is comfortable with easy in & out. Robbie provided us all with nice water bottles we could keep. At each winery she made sure we were comfortable, & had everything we needed, before leaving us to enjoy the wines and ambiance . Robie was the best tour guide ever!!! She arrived early to pick us up, provided us with complimentary Wine Hopper water bottles and treated us as if we were the most important people all day. She provided historical background along the drive and pointed out all kinds of great information. She also listened! After talking with us for just a short time she picked up on how much I love red wine. Knowing that one of the best red wine makers, Marcus at Crooked Barn, was closed that day, she called him and asked him if he would be willing to open of a couple of red wine lovers. Because of the outstanding rapport Robie has with the wineries and wine makers he obliged. We were fortunate enough to spend almost 2 hours with Marcus tasting, touring and learning all about how he makes some the best red wines I have ever tasted. We were treated like royalty and every winery we visited and were often greeted by the owner/manager and given some special wines to taste. 3 hours ago NEW Have to say was not the caliber that I was expecting. We were picked up in a passenger van that smelled of wet dog, had no air in the middle or back seats and was extremely difficult to get in and out of. Apparently our driver pulled the short straw and had to rent a van due to over scheduling(even though our tour was booked 4 months prior). Our driver, Robbie, was apologetic, but offered nothing other than words and a thorough spraying of Simple Green that left our back bench seat wet(but alas, she had a microfiber for us to sit on). She also complained about the prices at a winery we wanted to go to(3 wineries were included in the tour). Over all I'd say, rent a limo for less and pay for your own $9-$14 wine tastings. read more

I work at a winery that has multiple tours from this company every week. We LOVE them. They are one of our absolute favorites. They are organized, they are respectful, they are fantastic people. As a guest with them, I think this is the best deal because they cover all of your tasting fees, feed you at each stop and you also get wine club pricing. If a group is getting a little rowdy or had a little too much to drink, they will make the call on whether or not to make the next stop. We immensely appreciate this because a couple other tour companies in this area have no problem bringing intoxicated persons to multiple wineries. read more

Our group of 5 had a wonderful time! A few locals, a few from CO and one from New England. Robbie was a perfect hostess - made us very comfortable, is very knowledgeable about the region and the back story on each winery. Snacks, a great lunch and a tasty desert was served + we all received a refillable water bottle! Set up the 3 hour tour for my daughter's birthday for 5 of us. Robbie was prompt meeting us at the Jacksonville Inn, her van was clean and spacious, a comfortable ride and she was very warm and welcoming. We had lunch at Dancin Vineyards and then onto Hummingbird Estate. Both wineries have excellent wines, wonderful food and beautiful views. Price included wine flights at both wineries, we paid for food and extras. Highly recommend, would definitely book again but for a longer tour! read more

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the Applegate Valley winery tour. The Mercedes bus is very comfortable. The snacks, water and lunch provided were great. Our driver/host was very helpful and knew the winery personnel by first name. I didn't ever feel rushed which was great. And, I learned a LOT about the area, why certain varietal's, etc. I think we saw a good cross section of wineries. I especially enjoyed Troon and Valley View. read more

We took the Wine Hopper Bus wine tour through the beautiful Applegate Valley in Oregon. We were not disappointed , the Tour driver was very informative and charming. he knew a lot of history about the region, the wineries and he even knew which celebrities had properties in the area. He kept us entertained and provided snacks and cold water at each winery. The lunch he provided at one winery was very good and we never had a hunger pang the entire trip. We were taken to four very good wineries and the driver knew each winery proprietor by name and they in turn treated us like VIP's. This an exceptional value and a great day trip for anyone visiting the Ashland Shakespeare festival. I intend to take this trip again when I visit Ashland. We had 6 other people with us on the tour and really enjoyed everyone's company. Our driver was fantastic, and the food that was supplied was delicious!
