They always have the cutest random stuff! I get a lot of my stationary items here since they're cute, actually work & are affordable! They also have a lot of great household items that work great for living in an apartment! They have a no refund policy which hasn't been a problem for me since everything I get from them works great! What a lovely little store! Pretty much everything is $1.50. They have adorable little knick-knacks for your kitchen, bathroom, office, and makeup containers. They have great items for presents too if you need ideas. read more

Things at the store are cute but an employee there shouldnt be working there. This employee (white guy, messy brown hair, looks unfriendly and unhappy walks up to me after I had decided not to purchase an item and left it on a shelf. He walks over and tells me to put it back where it belongs. Isn't it your job? Obviously he believed it wasn't but I'm sure you're getting paid minimum wage by the hour right? Well, it's your job. Just because you don't like your job doesn't mean it's not your job. I'm sure customers on a daily basis put things everywhere and If customer service is one of your weakness, you shouldn't be working in a customer service environment. I have never experienced such rude customer service before but I do feel bad for you and hope you'll have better days. read more

This was my first visit to Daiso and regrettably probably my last. The store was clean, brightly let and fun to shop - until I discovered that most things for sale here are in fact made in China. Cute, but not made in Japan. Where's all the Japanese stuff, I asked? Mostly the 'food' items, I was told. Oh, right. Total Buzz Kill! So, if you're someone who is gullible, uninformed or just don't care about paying more for Chinese goods with cute Japanese packaging, then by all means shop here. Otherwise don't feel left out if you stick with your usual dollar discount place or even the dollar bin at Target. It's probably the smallest Daiso I have ever been to, therefor it doesnt carry a lot of stuff other Daiso does. The spaces between isles are also tiny I dont feel comfortable shopping while have to constantly watch for other people passing by. read more

the staff(cashier) has no manner toward customer. They giggle and laugh at the customer with bitchy attitude. Don't said thank you just place the receipt on the counter and walk away. Show no appreciation toward customer, poor service. Japan well know for manner and appreciation. But hire these kind of employees ruining the company image. They either need training or get FIRE. Never go back to the store again. I should have look at her name tag and report to the manager. It the vietnamese girl tall skinny freckle molds face. This kid need to get fire. I love shopping at daiso for those cute random finds. The only downside to this store is that it's smaller compared to other locations.

This Daiso is like the mini Daiso lol. I think it's the smallest location I've ever been to. So don't expect to find the same things as the other Daisos. Nonetheless, it is OK for when you know what you need from here and when you already know for sure that they carry it. Aisles are super narrow and short. Employees don't have the best attitudes at this one. I love Daiso in general but my favorite locations besides the one in my hometown in Japan are the ones in Irvine and Lake Forest lol. read more

Daiso is a great place to find gift boxes/bags of all kinds. Not only that they are inexpensive but they are great quality. The types of gift boxes/bags that they have are a little hard to find in the main stream stores so it's now my go-to store for these types of things! read more

Biggest Daiso I've ever been to and everything is super cheap! They have everything.. House goods, makeup & accessories to snacks. I popped in 30 mins before they closed and the store was pretty packed still, but the store was very clean. Also very bright!! read more

I came here right after it opened, so I figured it needed some time to get up on its feet. A good-sized store, with tons of stuff, but I really didn't feel very welcome here. There are other Japanese markets that have better products and more of a selection. Meh, I've seen better. read more

Brand new, store is clean and well lit. Staff is friendly. Just as awesome as the other Daiso's.

Has a lot of cool things to look at, and fewer things to buy. I mean... you might buy everything at these Daisos, but do you really need it?! Don't go here if you're in a buying mode; you'll leave with so much junk... Sure the prices are pretty low, but do you really need this stuff? I like the bowls and plates section. Japanese bowls and plates for under $4? And they look pretty cool too. I'd just be careful of all the Chinese products and the ones that say Prop 65, known to the state of CA to cause cancer... why would you want to eat out of that? Also, "japanese tea" sounded cheap here for $1.50, but it was like 80% rice and 20% crushed tea leaves...Not buying again. Little things like my bedroom trashcan for $1.50, Japanese bowls and plates, and Sake cups are fair here. read more

monday was my 1st time here i like how everyhing was organized and very very clean, well its a new place so i hope u guys keep it like this. today was my second visit (sat), i wanted my mom to check out the store so we walked in, omggggg walking with a cart was a chaos, i hated it!!! it was busy but not that crazy busy though, we kept bumping into people picking up a lot of things i dropped on my way to the register, seriously you have no room for two people to stand together. either this store is too small, or they need to be a lilttle more organized with how people get to the register! it seems like everyone is on everyone's way haha. i would recommend to come in during the week is much better read more

Didn't end up purchasing much but it is a great place to take your kids. My daughter loved all of the cute trinkets and she ended up choosing an adorable bowl and a ceramic mug. However, didn't realize the mug was chipped until I got home, but at $1.50, I didn't bother bringing it back. On that note, no returns and no exchanges unless item is defective. A few tips: aisles are a little narrow and difficult to maneuver through if there are more than 2 people in the aisle and there is a minimum on credit card transactions. They have some really cute school supplies and I would recommend this place. read more

Can't complain, since it is a Daiso close to me. But this is not my favorite Daiso, because it is very small and they don't have as much stuff as some of the other ones. Nothing really to much to complain about, its just small. read more

I'd never been to this Daiso until today. I'd been to the one in Northridge and loved all the inexpensive things I'd find. So happy to have one nearby. As someone else mentioned, it's like a Japanese 99 cent store (except most things here are $1.50). Fun to explore, and good for origami paper and loads of little household items you may not have thought much about, but end up being super-useful. read more

When I came in with my 4 year old to shop and he needed to use the restroom. Asked the first employee who greeted us she immediately said we could not use the restroom for my child to use. She told me I had to use the restroom at the grocery store. Very sad that i had to leave and tell my 4 year old he had to hold it till we get to the next store. Not happy with this customer service. So if your child or elderly needs to use the restroom asap they will tell you they don't have a restroom, which of course they do. read more

Really like this place had a lot of fun shopping! My boyfriend even had fun too! It's the Japanese version of the Dollar Tree. Everything in the store the dollar 50 unless otherwise marked. Entered just to check it out. Nice little store. Unlike other discount stores this is more of a teen girl hang out shop. I am surprised they do not have a smoothie or coffee stand. I must point out that some aisles are a mess and not because of the customers. Particularly the area with the binders and pencil zip bags. It is almost child's play. Few others lacked any real attempt at organization. Points off for presentation. Now, the staff is made up of youth with one slightly older male. They are nice but have no real direction. Saw many that were lost. Except for a cute little red-head who was doing it all. I saw this kid (so androgynous with long hair that it was hard to define while still being politically correct) from one end to the other. He found himself in the snack aisle I was in. He had like three items from the other end of the store under one arm and organizing the teas and chips with just the other and nicely. Even found the time to greet me and ask what I thought so far. I responded. Very well spoken little thing. Ended with a "let me know if you need help finding anything or what something is for" with cute little smile and giggle then returned to the task and boy did he. I did ask him what an odd item was which turned out to be some message thing. No one else were so attentive to the customers. Five minutes from hiring this kid. This has to be one of my favorite stores! It's basically a Japanese twist on your average dollar store but with a much wider variety of things to choose from. I haven't been faced with a situation where they haven't had what I was looking for and I'm sure you won't either. They also have a lot of fun toys and trinkets for kids! i've been to many daiso locations. by far, this location had the worst customer service. i know that there is a no return and exchange policy. however, can't there be an exception. i bought the portable fan for my iphone. when i got in the car to test it out, it wasn't for iphone. i quickly went back in, asking to exchange for the iphone version. the workers, in a bitchy tone, said no because the barcode are different. cant she at least ask her manger to make exception because other store does the same thing. i know that it's only $2 but its the functionality that counts. i know that there are many customers that are like me in the same situation but didn't say anything. this daiso location had lost a customers and many more to come. read more
