Daiso - Discount Store Near Me - Tukwila, Washington

Came here looking for a ceramic knife, but found a metal one instead. daiso has literally everything that I need, and I usually leave with more than what I need. When I got up to the register I realized that I had forgotten to look for a knife sharpener, so I asked the lady at the register. She went and grabbed quite a few to have me choose from, and informed me that some were more expensive than the usual $1.50. I really appreciated her help! This daiso location is fairly small but I keep coming back for the nice people and service that I get here. read more

Definitely like the upgrade that they have done with the space. It's brighter inside too so it's more enticing to go shopping. Daiso is like the mini Target at the mall for me because I always get lost in the store (not literally). I always buy things I don't need because they are very inexpensive ($1.50 for most of the items with a few exceptions) and the packaging are very enticing as well. Japanese people are known for their practicality. So there are things you find here that can make your everyday life a little bit more practical than usual. You all know what I'm talking about.....I mean, disposable underwear. Where else can you find that! Haha. But seriously, they have a lot of random things that you think you wouldn't need or never even thought about using before. But they have them here. I usually just come in to buy some snacks or pore strips for your nose. But then I end up buying 5 more things just because they have better quality than some of the things you'll find at the dollar store. Check it out for yourself and see what I am talking about. One down thing I've seen from my past couple visits is that the store seems empty now so I can't really find what I want to buy. I always think they're about to close or something. I need to know when they restock...haha so I can take advantage of their new items. read more

Went there, bought a bucket for $1.50. Thought it was quite a cheap bucket, so i filled it up with water. Didn't leak. Thought that they must have went cheap on the handle, so I carried the bucket. Didn't break. Good bucket. Good store. read more

Can I point out how hot and stuffy this store is? PHEWW..! Aside from that, this is a really cute, cheap, and nifty store. Some would call this the Japanese dollar store! You'd be surprised on what you'd find. You can find items such as dishes, cleaning products, make up, stationaries, food, and the list is endless. Prices will range from about a dollar to a few bucks, depending on the product. The line for the registers to check out is a little confusing. As I was waiting on a friend to finish paying, there were people asking me where the line was. No one knew where it started. The staff isn't all that helpful or cheery. I suppose because they are younger kids handling their first job... but I've always learned that you should treat others how you'd like to be treated. read more

Stop by and check this place out. You might find something here. I stopped by here with my daughter because she saw animal beanies and wanted to check them out. Good thing I did because I broke my lanyard for work and I was looking for a retractable belt clip and found one here. It cost only $1.50 but in other places it would cost about $3.99. The quality isn't bad either. They offer different kinds of things like cosmetics, kitchen, bathroom, Japanese snacks, hair accessories, and etc. The selection is limited but it's still not bad. Come and check it out. I'll try to take pictures next time I come here and share them. ig: claireandclayre read more

I have been to a lot of Daiso Japan stores at this point. They have all of the cute cheap items you can shop for. I mostly go to this store for Royal Milk Tea, and this store location only had 1 milk tea left. Bummer. The register area was small unlike the locations I have been to before. The line was going slow. I love Daiso, and will continue to support the company everywhere I go. They just need to stock up on more milk tea! :) read more

This place has the worst charcoal mask in the world! After i peeled it off , my face was itchy and burning and my face was so red with so many pimples and acne ! My face was so irritated that it was hot and warm! Daiso might have runied my skin ! DO NOT BUY THIS MASK ESPECALLY IF YOUR SKIN IS SENSITIVE read more

Daiso is one of my favorite places in Washington. I always seem to find them every time I go exploring. Almost everything in the store is around $1.50 which means you'll probably buy way more than you expect to. As a general rule of thumb for "dollar" stores, I never buy makeup or use plastic bottles/containers if I don't know what type of plastic it is. As far as the food goes, it's from other companies that I trust and not something that Daiso itself makes, so you're good to go on this. The store has everything for every kind of person - bug catchers, snail mail enthusiasts, little kids, crafters, builders, chefs, diy people, Japanese culture fans, fashionistas, etc. read more

Amazing at how much better quality the $1.50 store is than the $1 store! I love this cute little place, I get a lot of kitchen stuff and false eyelashes here. There's so many random things that you can get for your house here from crafty materials like origami papers to practical items like a laundry basket. My ticket usually never exceeds $15 yet I feel like I've just bought the world. Located near Seafood City in Westlake Mall. Most items are only $1.50 although there might be a few exceptions, but there will be a price marking if it's any different than $1.50. Happy shopping. read more

It's one thing to be super affordable at $1.50 for almosttttt everything in the store BUT to have the products be great quality as well? Amazing to me! LOL This is a great place to buy kitchenware, make up products, arts & crafts supplies, and even iphone chargers! Which btw, I've had my charger for 2 years now and it is working flawlessly...I just love this store...it makes me and my pockets happy! =) read more

This store was far from what I was expecting. I went to a dinner party and every cool kitchen gadget in the guy's kitchen came from the same place: Daiso. I couldn't wait to go so when I found an excuse (stocking stuffer shopping) I jumped on it! This place is a glorified dollar store. It's actually closer to those annoying dollar stores that have items for sale that cost $1, $2, $3, and $4. The assortment of stationary materials, plastic containers, and dishware at this place is truly astounding. There is also a legit kitchen section full of knives, tarts pans, and cooking utensils. My favorite find was a device that you clip into boots to keep them standing upright. The top of them is like a 1000 carat pink plastic diamond. Keeping it classy! read more

Best Daiso in WA so far. I've been to the one in International District and it doesn't compare. Tukwila store is bigger and has more items. Things I found useful: kitchen containers/Tupperware, eating utensils, kitchen items and storage bins. If you are redecorating your work office or school working area, then DAISO is the place to go for all the binders, files, office knick-knacks, office decors, etc...you will get more for your money then Staples. The rest of the stuff, you can buy at Dollar store, it's cheaper. The one in Irvine, CA...it's the size of a warehouse/supermarket!!! To die FOR! read more

Daiso - It's freaking closed! Don't drive all the way here and find out its closure! - Discount Store Near Me - Tukwila, Washington

Daiso is a great store to shop at! They have so many things to buy, like cute toys, cute pencils and stuff like that, Japanese snacks, and some cleaning and crafts stuff, etc. You cannot really go wrong with Daiso, when the prices are usually $1.50 and up. Friendly staff and great service, would definitely recommend. read more

I really liked this store. It's got some really cute things, and practical things all for around a dollar. Yes, it's a Japanese dollar store. They have make-up, household stuff, Japanese candies, snacks, and drinks etc. All this, and if your from out of state you don't pay taxes. Tax exempt. read more

I love this place where I can buy stationery supplies and little light snacks for $1.50 each unless posted. The people here are casually friendly, but I notice it gets so busy towards the weekends on Fridays, so I would understand how much they have to make sales from their customers. Overall, definitely a five star rating from my favorite Japanese drop in store (: read more

I just left from there. I love their little cheap lipsticks and antibacterial. So I decided not to walk out after the oldest woman there followed me around. She magically had to put away one eyebrow pen right next to me. Then she followed me around. She watched me and acted like I was a criminal. In each side of the store. I had a bag from other shopping I'd done. She even followed me to the register where the young girl was polite who actually ran me up. This place is a Dollar Store!!! Do not racially profile Daiso! Why'd you do that to me and not the other people with bags? I won't come back... and I'll spread the word read more

This store seemed quite crammed with a variety of things. I'd have to say I came here since I was in the area and I was quite excited... but other than I'd stick with my usual Federal Way store. This store was a disappointment in appearance and what they carry. However, the only thing I enjoyed about this store is that they had an abundance of beauty/hair products that I could not find in the Federal Way store. read more

I shop at this store a lot! Not for nothing , this store is quite something. it's a Japanese store. at first you'd think they sell everything at $1.50 but that is not true. There are some things that are sold for $2.00, others for $3, $4 even $10. so be very careful. but majority are priced at $1.50. Most of the products are quality products especially the Japanese plates, bowls, chipsticks, bakingwares etc... and these products can't need returned anymore too. so note that. you can totally get lost in shopping and lose track with time. As much as I love the products, you can equally hate the people that work at the store. I don't know what it is, maybe they are too arrogant that they know people tend to love the shop and the products that they know they got them hooked that they don't seem to care for their customers. They don't seem to have a clue about customer service. Once it happened to me before, I let it slide thinking this is just once, maybe that person was just in a bad mood. but now, I think they are just literally like that. it's an attitude. Imagine, I have an event coming up this Friday.. an extremely big very important event. I'm hosting a table..themed table and I chose the Japanese theme. the table seats 8. unfortunately, I only have 6 plates so I lack 2pcs. we live in Snoqualmie. i went to the Bellevue daiso earlier today unfortunately they didn't have my plates in stock. so this evening, we drove down to southcenter. a quick delivery drop off to Amazon Fresh plus traffic, we barely made it to southcenter. we literally had 7mins left to 9pm. But when I got to Daiso, they already closed the shop. I knocked at the door and begged them to sell the 2 plates to me. I explained to them the situation and all. the lady told me that they couldn't do anything for me anymore. I begged and begged and told her that we literally drive all the way from Snoqualmie. and she insisted she couldn't do anything. not for nothing, they shouldn't have closed yet since it wasn't even 9pm yet. I told her to have some customer service and to help me out. but a no is a no she said. wow! I totally wasted my time. This place just do not care for their customers. they just literally can't wait to go home! I feel for the company! What crappy employees do they have! Oh well... just makes me regret shopping here. Daiso, time to retrain your staffs! read more

Love this store! It's got so much to look at and good stuff! Everyone's helpful and friendly as well!

Usually I have an amazing experience at Daiso. They have yummy green tea buns, they taste better than my dog! Everything is very cheap and affordable at Daiso. My latest experience yesterday though, left me disappointed. I bought 2 things, fuzzy black and white socks with an embroidered bear on it and a charcoal peel-off face mask. The face mask smelled disgusting to me, it took 3 washes to get the scent off my face. It reminded me of the smell of vomit. My friend said she had no problem with the smell though, it might've just been my nose or the individual face mask. The fuzzy socks were very comfortable. I tore the tag off and put them on. I realized that there was a huge hole in one of the socks. It was easily sewed back but I'm not sure if the cause of the sock tear was my stupidity or a manufacturing mistake. Other than that, most of my experiences in Daiso have been great. The store is very clean. I have felt a little looked down on by the cashiers. There's not too much of a greeting either. Therefore, customer service; 4/5. Products; 4/5. Cleanliness; 5/5. Prices; 5/5. read more

I'm so sad I don't have a Daiso store location near where I live! It's basically a Japanese dollar store. They have a lot of cute items and pretty much everything I could see cost $1.50. Even the bento containers were only $1.50 which is amazing because a lot of places will charge you up to $30 for the same product. I bought a strawberry bento container, a cute piggy drawstring bag, and lucky cat all for less than $5. In love! read more

Being from Oregon, we don't have a daiso yet and it's always nice to stop by here whenever we make the trip to Seattle. It obviously doesn't compare to the Daisos I've been to in Asia but it does the job! It's small but filled with little trinkets that make good stocking stuffers for the holidays read more

The selection compared to the Alderwood one is a bit different (they have some things Alderwood doesn't, and vice versa) but all in all still the same great $1.50 store experience. There are a few items that cost a smidge more, but those are clearly marked, and the costs, last I checked, generally don't exceed five bucks. A good place to go for inexpensive yet quality odds and ends. Think of it like a micro department store. You can get food, utensils, makeup, clothes, toys, small electronics, tools, seasonal decor, drinks, office supplies, cleaning supplies, toiletries... and most of it is just a buck fifty. I have a hard time going into Daiso and leaving without a big bag of miscellaneous useful things. read more

I absolutely love, love, LOVE DAISO! this place literally has everything you thought you wouldn't ever need from cute little trinkets to disposable underwear to kitchen essentials to car supplies. All for mostly $1.50. This is definitely a place to go to just browse around and more than likley walk away buying at least one thing or even go crazy and fill up a whole basket. read more

Cool store. But when we tried to go in they very rudely told us we couldn't. Apparently they just round up to closing time and stand guard at the door turning people away even when your son is already in the store. Couldn't believe the policy and the rudeness. read more

I love Daiso and since moving out of the bay area have had a serious craving that needed to be fixed. When we took a road trip to Seattle I knew a stop at Daiso was in store. It was just what I was expecting as I have been to Daiso before. They had great oven-safe storage glasswear with lids for $1.50 a pop, wow! I stocked up! They also have the usual notebooks, pens, tiny tea cups and saucers and various irresistible cheap things, but you can also find good quality kitchen items that would cost a lot more elsewhere. I hope I can come back soon! read more

So much more space compared to the Westlake and Chinatown locations. A lot more stuff too I think. You could easily spend an hour here and only spend $50 for a lot of stuff. The quality of these items is really going to depend but I've gotten most of kitchen essentials from here and they've withstood the test of time. Going on about 2 years. I would say that's a pretty good run time for items that are only $1.50. read more

High quality products but low quality customer service. I went there today just to buy a clear bag. My friend and I asked the lady that worked there if they had anymore clear bags or if they could check in the back if they had any. After we asked, the lady showed us where they were but they were sold out. We then asked if there was any left, but she quickly said no. She didn't even look in the back if they had any more in store. Disappointed today because we have a concert to go to in a week and the venue had a clear bag rule. Unfortunately they were "sold out" and didn't have anymore:( maybe next time they should check the back. read more

This place, OMG the kitchen gadgets, the toys, the SNACKS, everything here is priced amazingly. I do origami as a stress relief... Want to get 500 pages of origami for 2.75 or less? GO HERE. Want to find the weirdest kitchen item you've ever seen? GO HERE. Cute kitty back packs? Air freshener scents you've never heard of? Incense, chop sticks, knock off barbies? This store is larger than the westlake or international district so there's much more to get lost in. I go here for all my fake eyelash needs, plus the black lash glue is my favorite to use. The rest of the beauty section rocks like the eyebrow kits. The only products that were so-so were the nail polishes. I do love the green Meiji cheese chips, it was a staple in my childhood junk food diet so it's nice to see it again and for $1.50! I can really spend some money here especially since they have so many products that I need anyway. Batteries! Eyebrow razors! Fake boob balloons! Why not! read more

I really, and I mean really, love this place. It has some really cute things, all super trendy, from household goods to make-up to little food items.
