The lowdown is this. It's hard to park here. It's very crowded inside and out. There are a lot of unhoused people in the area - as they tend to collect behind this shopping center. The place is inexpensive so you will certainly find every strata of society in here! Personally, I love to duck in here and see what fun things they have and every time I remind myself that I should shop here more often, especially for office supplies and party supplies. I was also impressed to see the array of gardening supplies that were available on this day. The cashiers were very friendly. The location is very convenient to running multiple errands at once, grabbing a bite or a coffee, getting your nails done, what-have-you. read more

The store was severely dirty and empty. The shopping carts were not readily available when you first walk in. The shelves were bare, and the floors were very dirty. The biggest issue was staffing. On the busiest day, which is a Saturday I would assume, there were literally only two cashiers. Originally there was only one. Both cashiers ended up having to blow up balloons, which took even longer. We stood around for over 20 minutes. One of the cashiers walked away to go blow up balloons and left money open for anyone to grab. You guys should be a lot more careful about that. On top of waiting around in line, one of the cashiers that walked away from the money, asked the other cashier to call a woman again to come help. There was a big Simone woman that was just aimlessly walking around not doing anything. She came out of the office and stood around and saw the line and still did nothing. I believe she was deliberately not helping. It is too small in there, and there are too many people to not have enough staff. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. read more

I went in last night to purchase some essentials. They had a Halloween toy that made the jingle "trick or treat smell my feet" on repeat and I assumed there was just a broken toy somewhere making that noise but when I get to the register the toy is there taped to the register and I assume they made him do that or something and I joke you're doing to be hearing that in your sleep and the employee stated "I hate it but I hate customers more" and he pushed my bag at me. His name is Prescott according to my receipt and it was on 10/13/2022 6:10 pm. So rude and childish.... Also there was a rat running across the store. read more

Just gonna put it out there bluntly. It's ghetto AF, if you're claustrophobic I would stay clear because it is very cramped in there. My boyfriend and I dropped by Dollar Tree to pick up 12 vases for an upcoming party. We asked an employee if they had a case, but they already displayed their entire stock. Instead of turning us away, everyone helped us gather a dozen vases. Upon check out, we figured that the vases would simply be put in a plastic bag since they already broke down all their boxes. However, two gentlemen carefully wrapped each vase individually! Even though it's a dollar store, the customer service was greatly appreciated. Keep up the great work! read more

Bargain is great here. A variety of items that I haven't seen at other Dollar Tree stores. Customer service was extremely terrible. I was in line to check out my items and the cashier never once acknowledge I was there. Greeted all the customers in front of me and asked how their day was. Then when it was my turn, I didn't get any acknowledgement, greeting, chick didn't even look up at me. All the cashier said to me was, "Your total is..." Rude?? Is it cause I'm Asian American? I just stared at her for a second and continued to pay for my items. I grabbed my bag, and the cashier happily greeted the next customer in line, asking how their day was. I am in tears right now. I know its a bit dramatic but Ive always defended the dollar store. I grew up in a small town in AK. When I discovered Dollar tree in Seattle it was a life changing event. After all these years I still consider them a defender of the poor and a company that is honest. Is it only a dollar? Yes! When prices rose (understandably) a couple years back it was made very clear to the customer. Advertised and everything...BUT today my heart broke. All that vehemently standing up for a company I believed was good for the people just went to the wayside! I am broke as all getup and stopped by the Dollar tree for food (yes I know I know I shouldn't but I was desperate). I grabbed a few home goods and saw an AMAZING assortment of high quality foods. I was so excited I went way way over my budget believing the food was $1.25 per. When I checked out the total was nearly $80 for about 30 items. There was a huge line and one clerk. It was near close. I had been ranting and raving about how wonderful these deals were. When I saw the price I got very quiet. I had to use two different cards. All the pain from work that day rushed into my body. No I cant even eat. I have stopped crying after typing this but I guess the hardest part is thr loss of trust. Thank you Dollar tree. It's always so messy in here. I feel like there are more items on the floor than on the shelves. This is a really big location though, they have a lot more stuff than any of the ones I have been to before. Seasonal, kitchenware, crafting, tools, toys, party supplies - they pretty much have it all. They have some groceries and frozen foods, as well as baking supplies. The staff is usually not very interactive. The lines can tend to get long as well to check out. Still, I will continue to make the longer drive and come back when I few like saving some money on things I need (it's much better than the Dollar Tree by my house). read more

Let me start by saying, I love Dollar Tree. Its not like other dollar stores where some items are $1.00 and others are $1.39, $1.99 etc, its straight up $1 plus Uncle Sam's piece of the pie in state taxes for any non-food items. With that being said, this store has everything you can think of! Cleaning products - check. Snacks galore - check. Decorations for your home or an uncoming event or party - check. Kitchenware - check. Toiletries - check. That thing you never once thought of, but you needed the second you spotted it on the shelf - check! When it comes to odds, ends and EVERYTHING in between, these guys got it. My husband and I especially enjoy coming here when the munchies hit (hold the weed please) and before we go catch a movie. (Check out my East Valley Theatre review for more info on that!) The only downsides to all this dollary goodness? The workers can be a little testy (but we all have our days so be kind) the stores can be messy (and by can I mean will be) patrons can be interesting (and by interesting I mean cray, sketchy or a fluid mix of both) and its inevitable that there's that one child throwing a massive tantrum because their parent isn't giving monies for that special toy that will break the second they get in the car :) Aside from that, enjoy your loot and celebrate after all, it was only $1. read more

Pretty alright Dollar Tree, not too messy. Great prices, obviously. Customer service was terrible. I was in line to check out my items and the cashier was nice and friendly to the customers ahead of me, which I took notice of, so being me, I was ready to have a full on conversation with the guy. This is one of the other location that I tend to go. I did a review on the one in Renton. For this location I am not going to be hard on the scale as well because after all it is a dollar store so, yea. I will give this location a 3 instead of a four because it is a little bit unorganized from the other ones, however, this establishment is stocked up when I do go, even when it is on the weekend. I don't buy food here but it's nice getting other things here like if you are trying to save up on certain things like gift bags/wraps/cards, food containers, office supplies, and right now puzzles for my daughter. Wow! I am a Dollar Tree fan and like to visit their stores in any new city. I must say this store is by far the largest I have patronized. They have an expanded selection of merchandise much larger than their stores in smaller cities. I purchased a pair of sunglasses and reading glasses that I really didn't need because their selection was so interesting. As usual I combed the rest of the store and left with a cart full of fun stuff! I especially appreciate their greeting cards. Priced at 2 cards for $1 they are the best value anywhere. I love dollar trees, so many great deals. They have home items to groceries here. And seasonal items are BIG at every dollar tree. THis location is pretty messy and cluttered though, but I think every dollar tree I have gone to has been like this. But overall I go here when I need something and I love dollar trees. And I agree there isn't much cashiers at this location as well to kill the waiting lines to check out. But customer service is pretty friendly here, although I dropped in a 8:56 to grab a coloring book and crayons real quick, one of the employees murmured as I walked by "People don't understand that we close in 3 minutes do they." And I looked at her and rolled my eyes. Whatever, I understand shes underpaid and I walked in 3 minutes before closing, but at least I didn't grab a cart. No need for the attitude. In this store you can find a lot of good grocery items in a reasonable prices. Of course you don't have much those organic, non-chemical etc. options but It's good to use this store for those stationary items. Location is convenient and parking is plenty most of the times. I was walking the four blocks to Target from my hotel to buy some food containers when I came across Dollar Tree at the three blocks mark. This was working out better than I though. I went in and the lay out was just like the ones back in Texas. I went to the food containers section and quickly located what I need. No line at the register, so in and out in less than 5 minutes. I just left this Dollar Tree, and I wanted to write a review because an employee there named Matt really stood out. I'm not sure if he was a manager or not, but it seemed like he was. He stopped and greeted every person he came across in the store, offered help to everyone he passed, and when he came across a child alone he made sure the child was accompanied by an adult. The way I saw him interact with every customer and employee he spoke with was the model example of excellent customer service, and his positive attitude seemed contagious throughout the store. great job man, there should be more people like you in customer service! read more

Whenever I travel sometimes I forget my cell phone car charger for the rental car. Because I have a few at home, I googled Target which was a couple miles away from me and as you know a cheaper solution than the ones at airport. Luckily when I arrived there was a Dollar Tree in the parking lot so I decided to give it a try interesting enough Dollar Tree carries a lot of items for cell phones ... I have an android galaxy note 4 so not much luck for assessories for me however tons of stuff for the most recent Samsung 6 Samsung 5 and of course iPhone galore. For 2 bucks I was a lot happier and having to buy yet another car charger that alone is worth 5 stars however this location was messy hence the 3 stars. There was a long line. It seems like quite a busy location so I am sure the staff has a lot to deal with in terms of checking out people and possibly no time for cleaning the mess customers leave... however the clerk was polite and courteous. read more
