We were brought here my my sister in law while on vacation and I can tell you, If you have sweet tooth, this place is the place for you. They have all sorts of chocolate options. I personally think it's better than those pre boxes candies you can buy at grocery stores. They are fairly priced by 1/2 lb and up.

The first time we stopped by here it didn't seem as upbeat and fun as it's neighbor store to the south in Kent. This location is closer to us though and we have a certain fondness for it just because we are so used to seeing it in its corner spot. It seems like the staff have gotten more outgoing recently -- as well as more open about coupons and deals -- or maybe we have gotten more laidback. We DID have to ask what was the daily special (it's birthday month for Mary See, if I'm getting that correctly) - but once we did it was made clear how you can tell by the fact that the prices are in a different color, and a couple dollars cheaper (we wouldn't have noticed). We make monthly trips for my spouse's favorite lollipops and always enjoy the tasty samples - and always get more than just the lollipops.

Smallest size they have. A .5lb. Holds 10-12 candies, depending on the size.

Cute place for a nice box of chocolates. You can purchase premise ones, or make your own! The ladies behind the counter were very helpful, answering all of my questions. It was weird though. When I asked for their Eggnog truffle, or their Pecan Pie one, the lady said "oh we don't have those. They are our seasonal ones". Well, it's December 18th. Not sure if there could be a better time to have seasonal candies such as those readily available? Haha. Idk. Maybe I'm being a smart ass. But I was super bummed they didn't have those. I love fun flavors! So I had to take off a star for that. Cute place none the less. Candies were very good!

Free samples. What more do I have to say? The customer service is always great at See's. The workers are always super informative with the latest new flavors and encouraging to try the various chocolates! I'm a fan of the clusters and of course the lollipops! Quality chocolate with so many different options. I will have to go back to their new pumpkin pie truffle, they were all out..

I dropped by to pick up a pound of my favorite dark chocolate / soft centers ... And they had all my desires, and then some new ones ... same ole' good choc, but I could not help notice the "new, rude, crude, attitude" of the sales girl ... maybe it was a bad day for her ? ... but who cares ... as long as the goodies are "right, tight, and a delight" (I'm in a rap mode today)

Free samples whom enter the store. I still like my coffee lotte pops. Visit friend I take 1 pound box with me when I travel. Most of time I take 1/2 box with me. The crisp cookies are good too. Remember this place growing up.

The tasting featured six…read moredistinct chocolates -- everything from bright, fruity single-origin bars to richer, high-cacao pieces -- and while all were tasty, I generally preferred the darker, more complex offerings. The textures were clean and the flavor development in the dark bars (bitter-sweet, with subtle fruit and spice notes) stood out. The tour guide They were excellent, personable, clearly passionate, and very knowledgeable about bean sourcing, tempering, and flavor profiling. Their demos on conching and tempering made the process tangible without getting bogged down in jargon. Some history Maeve Chocolate's shift from the Seattle Chocolate name reflects a move to emphasize craft, single-origin sourcing, and a modern identity that better represents their focus on ethical sourcing and flavor-driven small-batch production. The new name and packaging celebrate provenance and the personalities behind the beans, while preserving the company's Seattle roots and commitment to quality. Highlights Six thoughtfully curated samples showcasing a range of cacao percentages and origins. Strong preference for the dark chocolate line -- nuanced, well-balanced, and memorable. Informative, engaging guide and a concise, behind-the-scenes look at production. Friendly tasting pace that allowed time to savor each piece and ask questions. If you appreciate chocolate craftsmanship and want a guided tasting that balances technique with flavor exploration, Maeve Chocolate's tour is worth it.

Very interesting and unique flavors. I went for the collaboration with Dungeon Crawler Carl, which was amazing. Not only was there a special chocolate bar that they had for the collab but they also had a corner decorated in the theme of the book and stickers of characters from the book. It was fantastic. Parking is pretty easy in this area. There is some parallel parking by the front door and a parking lot nearby. I'll definitely have to come back for a tour.

Learned a lot, too. Chocolate making is about 50% science and 50% magic. What also stood out was the heart behind the company. I've been to this location since 2017 when it first opened and have been deterred from coming here…read morein the past because of some rowdy car meetups that take up the spacious parking lot it shares with several other businesses like a teriyaki place. This was on a Friday night around 7:30pm, and my group of 5 came here to get some balls inside us... or more like just satisfy our sweet tooths. For this visit, I decided to get one of their signature smoothies: cuddles on the beach. It's a blend of strawberry, peach and mango, and comes with a bunch of peach bits. This whole drink was really sweet - there were options to change levels of sweetness that I did not see carefully that would have made my rink better. Probably if I had gotten it much less sweet - if that is possible for the cuddles on the beach - it would be much better. Peach bits were one of my favorite parts of the drink, as I could easily suck them through my straw like balls haha. I'd go as far as to say this drink went past the cuddles and went all the way... :P It was fun striking a conversation with my server up front when she asked me and friends about our day, and that made this visit a lot better. That's kinda the feel of this place especially when it gets late at night, because there's a lot of people that come inside and fill the tables. As for my group of six, we definitely contributed to the already loud noises of people talking and blenders blazing to make drinks. This place wouldn't really be my go-to for drinks in general, even though it does open much later than most other places serving boba, but they have a ton of interestingly named drinks that I'd try when I want a late-night boba call :PP
