Don't get me started on this place. Listen to me! This is the best chocolate shop for truffles in the world. My personal favorites are Strawberry Champagne, Strawberry Balsamic, Big Wigs, and the mango passionfruit truffles. A big factor for me in reviewing any business is how I feel as a patron. I was comfortable here. I think I actually made a friend in one of the staff members. The young ladies that work there are very kind to me. They ask how your day is and they actually want to know. You honestly feel that they are asking because they want to know. its not just a script or something that they are reading. I came to Lolli and Pops one days after interviewing for a job and feeling like I completely bombed. Do not judge me, it's just that chocolate is my go too for good and bad days. Well, the lady at the front desk helped me with my order and then chatted with me for about 15 minutes about the whole experience. When you are spending $20 on candy regularly, it feels nice to have such a kind and helpful staff. I recommend you try the place out. This is a much cuter candy store than most malls have. It's stacked ceiling to floor with a colorful assortment of new and vintage candies, French macarons, and drinks. The candy striper workers are adorable. I loved the flavors of French macarons I chose - vanilla, blueberry, and key lime. MMM. They were wrapped individually and crumbly with a soft finale. It's a bit pricey for a mall candy store, but glad to have it. We all need to satisfy our sweet tooth from time to time. read more

I am writing this review though specifically because of the best customer service I have ever experienced. That's saying a lot because I am very picky with my yelp reviews. And have a very high standard when it comes to excellent customer service. You have two amazing employees. Brielle and Cedar. I came in just to check out this place out an maybe get a few things for Christmas stocking stuffers. Cedar helped us try a few things and answered all our questions...... that's when I saw the packaging for the truffles and damn near lost my shit. Now I didn't want to buy a billion dollars worth of chocolate though my husband came close. We had asked if they just sold the boxes and were told that they didn't. I had resigned myself to the fact that I was going to just have to buy all of the sizes of boxes filled with truffles so I could essentially collect all the packaging. Probably acquiring diabetes and a monstrous amount of cavities in the process to get all the boxes. But then Brielle advised us they did have bigger boxes we could buy.... say whhhatttt. She went back and grabbed two and made my GD day! We then joined their little perks program, bought a box of truffles so I could of-course get the green box :-) a few little pieces of chocolate, and a huge box of breakfast truffles. This candy shop has it all! Lolli and Pops has a wide range of candy! They have a case where you can get chocolate truffles and other gourmet chocolates. They had an impressive amount of Pocky as well! I got a kind of Pocky I haven't seen before... chocolate dipped with an orange candy in the dip. It was very different and delicious! There is a large selection where you can get candy by the pound and you can scoop up what you want in all of the various containers of candy at your disposal. I also noticed and was extremely pleased to see more high end chocolate bars here... specifically like Vosges chocolate bars... one of my favorite brands. Lolli and Pops has a wide array of soda pop too... some of it is named very odd too but that is what adds to the novelty of this place. I love this store. Gummy bears, lollipops, chocolate bars, and almost anything you can imagine... Sure, it's overpriced but I love it for its nostalgia, for the plethora of candy options, and for the brightness of color. I love perusing the various options, looking at the eye-catching labels, and indulging in an unnecessary block of cereal marshmallow treat for $4 or a fine bar of chocolate for $6. Plus, the wall of gummy bears always makes me happy and for a low cost of $99 per bear jar or $1,000 for a gallon bucket, you can have your fill of unlimited refills for life. I love everything about it, from the muted color scheme, to the sweet shop girls in their darling striped aprons and straw hats, to the variety of candy and treats, this shop is tops! I dropped by not looking for anything in particular and was blown away by the selection. Here are some of the highlights from my first visit: Many different flavors of gourmet rice crispy treats Many different flavors of gourmet cotton candy Fill your own jars of loose candy in many different shapes and sizes International candy section Huge chocolate selection Macaron and truffle bar Candy from when I was little, like candy cigarettes. Remember those? There are goodies to surprise and delight in every nook and cranny of this store. The young ladies working there offered to get me a sample of anything I wanted from the loose candy bins, but I ended up with only pre-packaged candies this time. I bought a Pelon Pelo Rico (Mexican tamarind candy), some Japanese gummy candies and a package of Bequet Caramels in Celtic Sea Salt flavor. Next time I drop by, which I expect will be soon, I will definitely try their macarons and see what other delightful treats I can find. I've been waiting for a while now for this store to open just because the entrance looked so cute! I went on a Friday night and it was relatively empty for the store (apparently they are jammed packed on weekends and sometimes have lines going out the door for crowd control). From the dessert display, my boyfriend and I ordered 1 earl grey macaron and a peanut butter filled truffle (about $2.75-$3.50 per, I can't remember exactly). The macarons were so pretty and yummy. The earl grey flavor was mostly from the cream inside the macaron and the flavor wasn't too strong. I also purchased two decked out marshmallows to send to family in Hawaii to try out. Each large piece is $5 unless you buy 2+ in which they become $4 each. The store had a wide variety of themed treats such as Chocolates, Harry Potter, Local, Honey, By Country, and more. I will stop in here again if I'm looking for some cute gift add-ons or have a sweet tooth for one of their display case dessert items. The staff was friendly and attentive. They were busy walking throughout the store and answering questions from customers who were just amazed at the products offered. I was lured in by the old-timey decor, and then intrigued by the selection of unique cotton candy, which included spiced mango, birthday cake, and a couple of others. When I'd made my selection, I turned and found myself eye to eye with german marzipan bars and gourmet jelly beans. Another table was all my 1970's childhood favorites, like candy buttons. And then there is the chocolate! I haven't seen such an assortment of superior chocolate bars since the Northwest Chocolate Expo, and I recognized several of the brands from that event. Glorious artisanal chocolate bars. There's a bulk candy section if you want to mix and match, or get your gummy fix, and again, these aren't your usual gummies, they are big, soft, brightly flavored gummies made by a small manufacturer. HUGE PRICE JUMPS - SO RIDICULOUS!! My fiancé and I loved going here to get gummies and other sweets - we eventually bought the refillable jars at $11 a pop (NOT BAD). Each refill was only $5!! Well, we went back today and it cost us $20 to get our small jars refilled. I asked the guy ringing us up if he accidentally double charged us and he said, "No... there was a small price increase." A SMALL PRICE INCREASE!? A $4 price increase is not small. It's ridiculous. That's an 80% increase, folks. I was polite to the guy because it wasn't his fault, but my fiancé and I definitely won't be back unless it's to buy a chocolate bar or something, because it's just not worth it. read more

A candy store for grown ups! Lolli and Pops has everything from traditional candies such as gummy rings to handmade and local candies. They also have macarons and adorable truffles. I have tried some of their chocolates and they have some really unique ones like dark chocolate covered wasabi peas, cake batter chocolate balls, and potato chips dipped in chocolate. All good, of course. I also like their raspberry hibiscus marshmallows sandwiched between two buttery chocolate cookies. But my favorite must be their truffle liquor cream filled chocolate covered figs! They're just the right amount of sweetness and the chocolate pairs so well with the liquor cream. It's really easy to spend too much money here but pace yourself -- there's always next time! read more

They have a super wide assortment of sweets for every price range. Lots of bulk candies in the bin organized by type. Have cute glass bear jars for your gummy bears! Novelty sweets. Expensive candy bars. Cotton candy and candied popcorn. In the case they have some of the most beautiful truffles I have seen. With macaroons and marzipan animals! I highly recommend the caramel macchiato truffle!!!! The prices were what you would expect for a unique candy shop. Great place to come if you are looking for a specific kind or color of candy! My review was on customer service and the gummy bear room. The jars of gummy bears are not marked, so you don't know the flavor. The room had three employees hanging around who promptly announced that I could fill my own jar with the flavor they were distributing at the door. Here's a marketing tip: If you are giving away samples, have those available for quick purchases. Don't make it hard to buy from you. The gummy bins do not have magnets, so it's hard to get the candy out. Other than the lack of marketing expertise from the employees and their low level of training, the store is cute. It looks fun and I am sure that my girls will want to visit. read more

Let me start by saying this store is charming! I feel like I'm on Main Street in Disneyland every time I walk through their door! The displays of candy are dazzling, and even their bags make me feel like I've received a gift! I love Lolli and Pops, but this review is about the customer service I received at the Southcenter store today. I dropped in to pick up a bag of wonderful Bequet caramels as a gift. As always, I was cheerfully greeted and asked if they could help me in any way. I knew what I wanted, made the purchase and left to finish my shopping. I later noticed that my caramels had an expired "best by" date, and since they were a gift, I decided to return to the store and ask to exchange them for a fresher bag. I can't say I was looking forward to returning, not knowing how they would react to my request. Honestly, the date was only past by less than a week, and I'm sure the caramels were fine, though perhaps a bit more chewy. Upon entering, they greeted me with "Welcome back!" Wow. Impressive! I didn't get that kind of recognition and greeting when I purchased my car after making multiple trips to the dealership. I explained the situation, and Courtney apologized profusely. She also thanked me for bringing it to their attention, and went over to check the other bags on display. Upon finding that they too were past date, she again apologized and said she would give me a refund. I thanked her for understanding, but she wasn't done yet! She offered me a cellophane bag and told me to fill it with the bulk caramels (which were fresh) at no charge, since she couldn't offer me the gift bagged ones. She filled the bag for me, credited my card for the return, and sincerely apologized again. Lolli and Pops is worth a trip to the mall. Thanks for making my day Courtney! read more

Great customer service; not overbearing, but super helpful. They have samples for almost everything in the store, and know their stuff! Next, the selection is one of the best I have ever seen. This is NOT your dinky kid's candy shop. They have a great selection of truffles, chocolates, gummy candies, hard to find candies, sodas, international treats (green tea kit kats, kinder, ect.), and treats (honey, cotton candy, marshmallows, lolipops, Pez dispensers). I was given free macarons to replace the ones I originally bought. While it was a nice gesture, they were just ok. It seems their other items (candy, truffles, etc) are really the way to go in this store. Our experiences with those items have been great while the macarons have, overall, been meh. we used to go there few times a month then they up the price on the candy jars from 11.00 to 15.50 and then to refill the candy jar went from 5.00 to 8.00. Then u used to have gloves where u can put on to push ur candy down in the jar to fit more in and now they take that away. so now u get less candy and u almost pay double the price. read more
