Prices are outrageous on most items. Nothing special about this shop. Avoid it unless you want to get completely ripped off.

Walked right past this shop while exploring Pike Place Market for the first time. Wasn't on our…read moreradar until we received samples of their chocolate-covered cherries during a food tour of the marketplace the following day. From that moment onward, we were hooked. After the tour, we made a beeline for this shop. Purchased a box consisting of an assortment of chocolate-covered cherries, berries, and nuts, as well as packages of the Classic Cherries (Northwest Sweet cherries coated in dark chocolate) and Cherry Trio (a mix of the Classic Dark, Amaretto Rainier, and Cabernet cherries). My favorite was the Bing cherry covered in milk chocolate which came from the assorted box. It was perfectly tart and sweet. Shout-out to the staff at the shop. They were so friendly and pleasant. It's always nice to visit places like this where the workers look like they genuinely enjoy their jobs and fully believe in the products they are selling. The wife liked them so much that she is planning to gift Chukar cherries for Christmas.

Awesome shop in Pike Place Market. They get you by offering free samples, and before you know it,…read moreyou're buying a bag or two! It's my favorite gift to buy people when I travel. When I was grabbing some presents, they also gave me a little extra package of cherries since I spent over $75. If you're more budget friendly and don't have any allergies, you can buy their bags of "Cherry Bombs" which are their factory seconds (aka misshapen or funny looking bits) which are equally delicious and gives you a good variety. You just can't tell ahead of time what each covered morsel is though, so it's a surprise. You can also buy Chukar Cherries at Whole Foods and other shops here, but this stand has the most variety and also does not have a markup - the prices listed here are the same as the website's pricing.

The downtown outlet was nice and spacious with quite rich selections they offered, many of which I have never seen before. Got the box that could fit 5-7 and YEAY we got it maxed out, thanks to the helpful attendant. Tried their Oolong Dark Chocolate, Hazelnut crunch, Milk Smoked Sea Salt, and the iconic Dark Grey Caramel; all of which were pleasantful with great chocolate quality. The caramel ones were surely more for those fancied sweeter chocolate, but the salt def balanced it out.

She me mentioned and emphasized that the chocolates were in the white White House for 8 years during the Obama time frame . When asked what kind a chocolate is in the White House now she said" oh we don't have any now and we don't care for what's going on in the White House now!!!" When she replied with that answer I simply said STILL YOUR PRESIDENT!!I got a really dirty look right away and out the window when we were walking out. I thought and am pretty sure there should be no political talk or opinions in a place of work but could be wrong . We were there today Aug 22nd at 1020 ish with my son . Black and blue hoodies . Maybe HR should train this employee up in this .
