Press-on nails for $2.25
Shauna S.

Much needed review for my local Daiso in Gardena! I stop by often so it's about time. Their press-on nails are surprisingly decent for the price, however a tad flimsy. Make sure to grab two sets since the sets currently in stock only contain one nail of per size. I always love their cute stationery, character branded stuff, and those tiny baggies that are perfect for gifts or little things. I've noticed OC Daisos have slightly more selection. Can't complain much though, this location is always organized and has friendly staff.

This is a family owned company with so many great items at a low price. You will find items for your garden, car, kitchen, makeup, storage and travel items. I was looking to the vacuum bags and they had them at an affordable price. There are employees walking around the store to help with any questions you have. The cashier is friendly and fast. The aisle with chopsticks has so many styles of chopsticks. You can find so many different items that are useful for your next trip.

Let me just start by saying Daiso is such a cool find in LA. The first time I ever went, I could not believe how inexpensive everything was! They carry all the cute characters like Sanrio, BT21, Toki Doki, and so many other cute characters. Most items you'll find range in prices from $1.75 up to $15.25. Most of the items I buy are $1.75, $2.25 and $3.25. Be careful though because even though everything seems really inexpensive, once you keep adding stuff in your shopping cart and by the time you get to the register, everything adds up pretty quickly. It's totally worth it though. I love going here and finding all the cool stuff. My favorite is Toki Doki. I have found some really amazing stuff here. My favorite is the magnetic bookmarks, stickers and stationary section, I'm a sucker for this stuff. Wish we had this on the East coast!

This place has gotten a little bit better as far as customer service and stock availability. When this store opened years ago, it had terrible service but I guess they have gotten rid of the bad apples. Hopefully they'll keep it that way. They have a lot of items and selections. Although, there were a few times I did not see what I was looking.

Searching for window decals that cover parts of the window. I was searching for several odds and ins. Found half of what I was searching for. I'm so thankful that the workers are very helpful. The value for the items are very reasonable. Have you ever wondered how do they manage to keep this store picked up and fully stocked.

This location is super clean and huge! They also offer Threppy store items (I'm guessing sister store of Daiso). I've known Daiso in US since the price was $1.50, but now it's $2.25. These price charts are available pretty much every aisle, so it's easy to reference whenever you need it. One cashier's service wasn't friendly (poker face, no greetings, no eye contacts, etc). Keeping it 5 stars because not every cashiers are like that.

I walked into Daiso today and saw that it had been remodeled. It was very spacious and neatly organized. Unfortunately, the little boxes that used to be on the left as you enter the store were nowhere to be found. They were sturdy and came in varying sizes and prints. Not finding the boxes, I went up and down the aisles looking for something to buy. There were posted signs everywhere noting that everything was $1.50, unless otherwise noted. There were a few food items like ramen and curry which were priced above $1.50 and could be found elsewhere for less. No real bargains in my opinion. Didn't see anything that I needed or wanted, so left empty handed.

This one is huge! I know there are a few larger ones nearby but I love this one. It's interesting to me how each location has different stuff, which this is no exception. I mostly come here to pick through the electronics aisle and that's what I did! I found what I was loosely searching for too, which was an SD card case, I found a clear watch band I liked. Finally I got a bag of white truffle Calbee chips. Omg! They're soooo good. They seem to be made in CA (if you're concerned about import items only) but they're good yep. I want more. But yeah check this Daiso out if you haven't before. The size of the store is worth the trip.

This Daiso location is the first Daiso I visited in the US. We did not have Daiso in Hawaii rolling a few years back. In any case, this location is pretty large. I enjoy it because 1. lots of parking 2. inventory readily available a. shelves never empty b. wide selection (more than I've seen in other Daiso's) 3. Organized check out a. roped off in direction of cashiers b. lots of snacks and eating items located along the way to cashier 4. conversion price list posted on the start and end of EACH row 5. ECO bags from other Daiso locations are always on sale ($.75-$1) 6. hours of operation steady; they open at 10 am and close at 7 pm The other great part (often overlooked) is this Daiso is located right next door to 85Degree Bakery and 99 Ranch Market a couple doors away to the east. Oh, and Krispy Kreme is across the street from Daiso. Located on Artesia Blvd., between Vermont and Normandie Boulevards

Happy kid.

We love Daiso! It's a Japanese version of the 99 Cents store but better! Prices range from $1.00 - $20.00 (I think) truthfully I never seen anything over $15.00... watch your shopping cart though, because it's easy to overspend! I feel like a millionaire at Daiso walking out with multiple bags of more stuff I probably don't need, lol! Top 5 products to buy at Daiso? - Kitchen supplies/ dishes/bowls - USB cable cords/ phone accessories - Socks ( cute, funky, unique) - Japanese traditional printed cloth ( beautiful!) - Stationaries ( pens, pencils, unique erasers, weird stuff) Seriously you can't go wrong here! This particular location in Gardena is well stocked/clean/organized. Employees are friendly. Parking is a little busy as it's shared with multiple business within the plaza.

Definitely pay attention to the price points, things can be a bit confusing. They do have signs with the price configurations but it's still confusing. I went for items for wine tasting. They have nice glasses & flutes, both glass and plastic. The glass ones had this iridescent shine, & the plastic ones were heavy duty definitely can see them lasting if they get dropped. I settled for the plastic. They had so much other stuff, I got some cards and envelopes. They had nice boards from charcuterie possibly. I decided to get a coffee too (terrible decision the coffee was horrible). Definitely will be back for party favors!

Everything is $1.50 from office supplies to dishes and candy. Way better than the manukai that used to stand in its place.

I've been a customer at this store for about two years now, and I wanted to share my recent…read moreexperiences that really stand out to me. Over the past year, l've noticed a big improvement in how things are run, and I truly think the new store manager deserves credit for that. In previous years, when I brought in clothes to sell, my experiences with some of the buyers felt very unprofessional, in fact I had multiple bad experiences with one of the female buyers that I notice still works there. She was very rude and condescending and now when I come in to sell I specifically don't want her to attend me. However, this year has been a completely different story. The newer buyers seem much better trained, more organized, respectful, and clear in how they take care of their customers. The whole process feels smoother and more customer-focused now, which makes a huge difference. In fact, today I had a question about the pricing of some of my items and the new store manager was very helpful and I left feeling very happy! Because of these positive changes, I actually look forward to bringing items in again, and I feel more confident in the process when working with the newer staff. Overall, I'm glad to see the progress and hope it continues in this direction. I have also recommended this location to my family and friends and they love the store!

The good: I love curated thrift shops like this because the…read moreclothes are already preselected for you and you don't have to dig as deep as you would in places like Goodwill (though Goodwill prices are definitely cheaper). So, there are definitely trendier items here and clothes are organized based on different trends as well (Y2K, designer, vintage, etc). I like the openness and brightness of the store. It resembles its other location in LA. I like that the racks aren't overcrowded with too many items so you can actually slide the coat hangers and look at the items. I got 2 jackets and culotte pants from here. Each were $12.99. The store was very nicely organized and even had an armchair to lounge on. The shoes were in good condition. The bad: I saw several tops with holes, snags or frayed fabric. They don't have healthcare worker discounts like the thrift shop across the street has. The interesting: You can bring in 5 items at a time in the fitting room. One of the workers at the register was on her phone a lot but perhaps she was looking up values/prices of the clothes she was labeling? They do buy clothes here.
