Pet friendly & big menu. Unfortunately no beer is available here. Not many parking spaces.

Key lime pie sundae (2 scoop variant)

Absolutely fantastic! This place has exceeded my expectations in a way I wasn't expecting. Despite its rather humble appearance, it's a very outdoorsy and clean environment. The service is good, but the food is surprisingly fantastic for something so simple. The hot dog I ate was well cooked, and had a crisp and flavorful feel to it. The fries? I never expected them to be so well seasoned, it complimented the hot dog in a way I wasn't expecting. An ice cream joint that does as well with the savory as it does with the sweet is a green flag of the best sort. Having been overwhelmingly impressed with my lunch, I decided to try one of their sundaes, Dairy Rich's specialty. I gave their Key lime pie sundae a shot, and I was certainly not disappointed! It felt like it was homemade, and the toppings absolutely complemented the flavoring. It goes to show that, as usual, you never judge a book by its cover. I've seen place since I first moved to Florida, and it has been in business since 1959 as I understand it; It's now obvious to me why. I highly recommend you stop by sometime, especially during the Summer!

Key Lime Pie ice cream is my fave

I've had ice cream here before, the key lime is deelish! But I heard their burgers are to die for so I had to try. The Big Mac dupe is their most popular I'm told but wanting to get away from anything Mickey D's I went with the second most popular, the Patty Melt. While not a hamburger per se, the description sounded amazing. The verdict - I have mixed feelings on this one. While it was definitely good, it didn't knock my socks off as I was anticipating. I feel like the buttered toast that encapsulates it replacing a hamburger bun overpowered all other flavors. The prices are also a little high when you pay $12 for a hamburger and nothing else. Their specialty burgers including the patty melt are double smash burgers so it's a lot of food which in that perspective can support the price I guess. I will definitely be back for ice cream and I think will come back to try the traditional single patty cheeseburger and see how flavorful that is. This is not a restaurant, it is more like an old car hop. Take it to go or eat outside on a bench in the nice Florida weather. On the side of the road in old Palm harbor on Palm harbor blvd/alt us19 Stop in next time you are passing by for some old fashion vibes and food

Why are there soggy fries inside my grilled cheese?

Evil, soulless, and baneful food. Why would you throw the fries on top of a steaming hot BURNT grilled cheese sandwich. They were ordered individually and you massacred them both further by putting them in the same container. No seasoning. Grilled cheese tasted like it's fried in the same smelly oil they use for everything else. Fries were most likely frozen and microwaved and.... Well, the photo speaks for itself. Very disappointing. Never will return.

This local unique spot hit the spot for us! We wanted a burger and maybe fries but we got more and learned they have local Amish ice cream straight from the large Amish community in Sarasota! We used to drive to south St Pete to get Amish ice cream but this is in Palm Harbor! Woohoo! It was Sunday afternoon during a Tampa football game so we were the only customers. Heck, we were practically the only people driving and not glued to a TV. Fine with us! They play football every week as far as I know and I don't watch it any more. I'd rather explore and experiment! We each ordered burgers and were pleased to learn they cook to order! Medium rare? No problem! Later we learned the standard burger comes with condiments and lettuce/tomato. That's what we got! But, it turns out you can order pickles, onions, jalapeños and much, much more. Next time! Our fries and onion rings were both crunchy and fresh. That's huge for us. I hate soggy or limp fries with a blind hot passion. These were on point! My wife also got a Chicago dog that was tasty! So, if we want local made to order burgers, crunchy fresh sides and Amish ice cream, in a fun outdoor location for eat in or to get it to go, this is our new spot! Life is good with a fun local spot!

We love this little spot for young and old to enjoy modern twists to Americas classic, the burger and shake. I devoured the Patty Melt while my niece loved the "Not a Big Mac." Both specials of the month. The outdoor picnic tables added to the fun relaxed vibe. And let's talk ice cream - creamy perfection! A must-visit for playful twists on classics and sunny vibes!

I thought I had more pictures, but I guess we scarfed the food down before we could snap some pics. Oops lol. If that statement doesn't explain how the food is over here, then I don't know what will. Don't let the name fool you! It doesn't sound like they have much to offer other than "dairy", but they have lots of none dairy/dessert items on the menu! We had the special- some sort of truffle cheesesteak with truffle cheddar bacon fries - TO DIE FOR. We got a bunch of other items on the menu like Buffalo ranch bacon fries and all sorts of desserts. Everything was amazing from ice cream to glorious brownie Sundaes & good ole milkshakes. Wish we loved closer to return but definitely worth checking it out! The people that live around it are so lucky. lol

    Chicago dog!

Great little roadside Eatery. Hot dogs, hamburgers and ice cream. All seating is outside on picnic benches. I had the Chicago dog and my husband had the Patty. I asked for my hot dog well done and they did a perfect job with spicy hot peppers pickles and relish it was oh so good. I took a bite of my husband's Patty milk and it was the best juicy burger I've had in a long time.

Food is my…read morefavorite hobby, I do not cook at all, so I'm constantly on the hunt for something amazing to eat and writing about it is my second favorite hobby... I hope it helps you as you find your next meal. Enjoy and good eating!! I always rate a place by 5 categories ranging from 1 - 5 stars and why. (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Price & Overall Experience). Atmosphere: 5 Let me explain plainly this is not a place to get dressed up for. Flip flops, shorts and a tank I would say is fancy for this place. It's a great place for day drinking and watching live music in a chill relaxed environment. It's good size, with a large stage under a huge shade structure with lots of spots to bring beach chairs and listen to local bands. If your not up for the music, the outdoor bars are cool and different. It sits on a water channel with little paths to walk along the water, check out the fish or find a cozy spot to watch the sunset. There's lots of art and collectible to look at all over the property. With tables and high tops along the water and through out as well. Service: 4 Again your not going to eat side table service but the staff was friendly attentive and quick. While in the ladies room I ran into one of the waitstaff who told me how much she loves it and if you like this place there's are some other cool spots nearby as well. Food: 4 It's your typical bar food but it was served quickly and correctly, the portion sizes where good for the price and it was tasty. Burgers, sandwiches, chicken wings some of my favorite bar foods. Price: 5 For the food and price is was a good deal. Drinks an app and entree with run you about $30 bucks before tip. Overall Experience: 5 if you want to experience something outside most people wheel house this one if a good spot for it!

Well, no one came out, the grill was cold and I was completely mad at this point. If you are trying to serve food, and your sign says open, and there are 2 people sitting out back in the corner smoking waving hello to you but offering no help at all AND no one is willing to help you,,,, sorry, I am out of there and won't be back. The cheesesteak: wonderful. Less cheesy than our other spot. The roll (they ship them in from Philly) was my favorite part! Fries were great! Service: awesome. The woman ringing us up heard us say we were going to share a large one so she suggested we could each order our half our own way. They have an abundance of topping options. She then came and checked on us later as we ate as well. Ambience: lots to look at here. A ton of sports and Philadelphia-related memorabilia. It's a retro, super casual atmosphere. Bustling. I like that sort of place. Overall, I think we will still have our original favorite more often, mostly because it is within walking distance. The order of fries we had no problem with. My dissatisfaction came with both cheese steaks. The rolls used were terrible. I couldn't eat my cheese steak sandwich. The roll was of inferior quality. Something you might expect at a Winn Dixie. I noticed the lowest grade bread before I took my first bite. It was not the authentic philly roll I've had on my cheesesteaks for 20 years st Delcos. Would have been great had Delcos advises me they changed to a substandard bland roll of cheap bread. I understand why they didn't have the balls to disclose this. I for one would of told them I'm taking my business elsewhere. How could you do this Delcos? Charge me an extra buck if you had to and provide me what I thought I was purchasing. The amount of 'meat' was still generous. Cheese and toppings you didn't gip me on. These issues don't mean jack with out the authentic rolls. As I said, charge me an extra buck for the authentic rolls. I wouldn't have complained!! I used to always come to you for your authenticity. We just cane home from Arbys. Trying their knew cheesesteak with Cooper chease. Anyone from up in Pennsylvania knows Cooper cheese. Too bad they didn't use amoresso rolls. It was still better than Delcos new version going with a poor man's roll. It doesn't feel right I'm slamming my favorite place for cheesesteaks. The people and service was stiil A1. I never went back again out of fear of getting disappointed once again. I'm not one to let anyone, or a business fk me twice so I'm not going back unless I get an explanation, and they went back to the real cheesesteak rolls. I'm even willing to reevaluate and change this review. Until then, I'm exercising my right to choose another place, just like Delcos used inferior rolls and kept their mouths shut to increase sales. Delcos as far as I'm concerned right now, you did me dirty.

But when I got there the prices were drastically higher. I had planned on the brisket plate but once there I was told it was $31 and there was no way I was paying that for BBQ for one person. Google had it listed for $18. Next was the ribs but that was $17 for 6 bones no sides. So I decided to go with a classic pulled pork sandwich which came with one side. Their recommendation was Mac n cheese so I went with that. Usually I love Baked Beans but with it being my first time I wanted to taste what people rave about. The man who took my order, not sure if he was the owner or not was very nice and accommodating. And I did mention the google discrepancy. Now here is where the one star comes in and this pains me because I hate giving 1star reviews especially in this case but the pulled pork had no flavor, the bbq sauce wasn't good, the Mac n cheese also not great. All was extremely subpar from a place that should specialize in BBQ then throw in the high prices there was nothing worth giving a better rating. Even with the Mac n cheese you could throw some small bits of brisket or ribs in it to give it that Smokey bbq flavor similar to how Sonny's has bits of meat in their baked beans. Truthfully I have never had BBQ that I didn't like until today. Usually there is good BBQ and great BBQ but sadly I've had better BBQ at Thanksgiving with Joe and his smoker. I was the only one there at 7pm on a Saturday but it's also not a restaurant so that could be why. I am confused about the good reviews and wonder if it's just locals hyping it up out of support. But for me, I've been writing fair, honest reviews for 15 years so if I write one it's going to be real. If this review helps you, great And if you are somebody who loves Reels BBQ then that's amazing and hope you continue to support this small business and they stay successful.
