Best darn chocolate milkshake around. Place was clean and service was quick. One of my grandsons favorite places.

Worst dairy Queen, rude and always get the order wrong in some way. Worth the driving to Ranson.

We ordered a beef burger with a side of sweet tots and the steakhouse burger with mac & cheese as the side. We shared all things and they were all delicious. The beet burger was suggested by a fellow customer and I'm so glad I listened to her. I was different and the texture was minced and not sliced. The flavor combo was awesome and out of the ordinary. The steakhouse burger was also fantastic. It was a great burger, but still a burger. So I was definitely a 5 out of 5, but the beet burger won the trip for me. The sweet tots and mac & cheese were equally delicious. I don't think you can go wrong. I really liked this place if you couldn't tell.

Maxwell's serves really good burgers that rivals Five Guys, especially with their rosemary fries…read morethat are much lighter than the burger chain's. I ordered the monthly special milkshake which was the chocolate fang-cake shake. The pieces of chocolate cake in the shake provided a bit of texture and the chocolate was nice and velvety. The fries had a great flavor and were crispy. I saved them for later and they were still edible - not like typically fries that become soggy with no taste. The burger was thick and very juicy. I gave four stars instead of five because my order didn't come out exactly right. The burger was cooked medium well instead of medium temperature and I didn't get any raw onions on my burger as requested. Also, there was whip cream on my shake when I asked for it to be removed. Otherwise, I would certainly order again the next time I'm in Frederick.

Unbelievable. Truly unbelievable that in the 21stC. a place could refine the hamburger experience!…read more Market Burger has done so...and while the burger experience was off the charts outstanding, THE SERVICE WITH A SMILE ALSO OFF THE CHARTS, then the Parmesan truffle fries fabulous. Then, they surprise us and bring out a side of their sweet potato chip/fries and four phenomenal dipping sauces. People this is an experience. Don't judge a book by its cover either. Ain't fancy--just fabulous!!! I'm gonna crave it. Wife said, "I really believe this is the best burger I've ever had!"

TL;DR: Amazing food and milkshakes!…read more Market Burger is our guilty pleasure. We've even joked about moving to Purcellville just to be closer to it. Whether it's a first date or your fiftieth, this spot always hits the mark. Food (5/5): My go-to order is a double patty burger ($12) (single patty burger is $10), loaded with herb mayo, American cheese, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, and a fried egg (+$1), plus a full order of fries. The burger is juicy, flavorful, and totally satisfying. If you're dining with someone, go for the full order of fries ($8). If you're solo, the half order is perfect. The food comes out on a big circular tray with your burgers and fries spread out. Messy and delicious! They also serve fantastic milkshakes in vanilla, chocolate, or coffee ($9). You can add Snickers, Oreos, or Heath bars for $1. The coffee shake is my personal favorite, and it's made with real coffee! Their fries are on another level. Sometimes they have weird fries specials that are a must-try! They used to have it all the time, now it's a rare surprise. Service (5/5): Service is quick and friendly. On the rare occasion they get your order wrong, they fix it right away. Ambiance (5/5): It's a fast-casual spot tucked into historic downtown Purcellville. You order at the counter, give your name, and grab a table. Sometimes they bring the food out to your table, sometimes you pick it up. Inside, the walls are lined with historic photos of the town. There are about six tables indoor and a picnic table outside on the corner. Free public parking is available just across the street.

Awesome new small town bar with the perfect combination of cozy dive bar and modern sleek spot…read more I was traveling through the area for the weekend with a group of friends and needed a spot to fuel up with a few brews and bites. We stumbled upon 10 Tavern around 1pm on a Friday. The bar was fairly empty (not surprising for this time of day) - we had our selection of tall bar tables, 4 top dining tables, or seats at the bar. We grabbed four seats and were greeted immediately by the very friend bartender. The drinks were really solid - I went with the blackberry cider on tap for $8 which was absolutely phenomenal! They had a fall cocktail menu with a variety of specialty drinks for $10ish - my friends tried the cider mule and a pumpkin flavored drink which bold got good reviews. They have hoop tea on tap which I thought was so much fun - I haven't seen a bar with a tea on tap before, very unique. I didn't eat but 2 of my friends ordered - they had the vegan bean burger and the fish sandwich. The fish filet was absolutely huge, was very tempting to order. Both said that the food was solid, not amazing but good. The service from the bartender and other staff members was really great; she shared the history of the area and bar with us. Awesome that a local spot has been redesigned and reshaped to fit a new need for the area - definitely love the story behind the new bar. If you're in the area, 100% worth a stop through - and I highly recommend trying the blackberry cider. What a treat!

If you know me, I'm serious about my chorizo! I loved how this burrito tasted! It also had beans, eggs, and potatoes! Def one of the my favorite breakfast burritos I've ever had! We had to finish it off with some hot chocolate bread pudding donuts these were so unique and hit the perfect spot! I am not sure how often they do breakfast, but you do NOT want to miss it! And with FbF here, they were super busy. And yet... you couldn't tell. Sure there were a few people waiting for their food but it was moving quickly and no one seemed stressed at all. I wasn't ready for a full meal so I had a "snack" that turned out to be a pretty big portion of very freshly fried pork rinds (they were still crackling in the dish) with pimento cheese for dipping. Delicious, crunchy, salty and nearly all of the pork rinds were airy and light enough to not crack a tooth. Yum! [Review 17923 overall - 69 in West Virginia - 1444 of 2022.]
