Food is fresh and cooked well. The milkshakes are good ice cream, not the cheaper soft serve that won't melt naturally. Consistently good quality. Staff are nice. Place is clean. Just wish the prices were lower, which I know has nothing to do with anyone below corporate level. read more

The fryer was down so no French fries. Instead of putting a sign on the door advising people of this, they turned the open sign off and locked the door. So every time a customer came to the door an employee had to unlock the door, tell the customer about the fryer being out of order. The entire time the door was opened you got a blast of cold air. $20 for 2 burgers and water. Young people have no clue about how to deal with things in a common sense way. Owner needs to have a long talk with the employees. read more

Hands down the best Five Guys we have ever been to! We are moving back to the area from DC and stopped here on our way back to the city to grab more belongings for our move. We preordered our meal, and when my husband went in to pick up the meal he decided to grab a hotdog for our very hungry pups who were traveling with us. He mentioned this to the staff and they quickly had hotdogs cut up in perfect puppy bite sizes without us even asking! Thank you Jade and the five guys staff! You guys sincerely ROCK! While in town visiting family, we decided on lunch at Five Guys. Upon entry there was only one person in line, but several people dining in/outside. I proceeded to order 4 burgers, three large fries, & a large drink. The lady taking my order was polite & attentive to each burger & the toppings I wanted. I noticed that another employee asked the lady behind me, how many burger patties they could put down for her. I thought it was great that they were being proactive to keep business moving. I completed my order, paid & stood to wait. I was pleasantly amazed that the 4-5 ladies working were operating like a machine! They were vocal, helpful to each other & in a VERY short time we had our order in hand. The employee who gave me our food also asked if I'd like a sticker to help seal the bags. I've been to MANY Five Guys in all different locations. This particular one had attentive staff, who delivered quality food faster then most drive thru restaurants. Unfortunately, we dug in & no pictures were taken. Highly recommend you stop by & show them some support! read more

The food here is no better than any other fast food restaurant. With the exception of the fries. They are above the normal frozen stuff you get anywhere else. My biggest problem with 5 guys are the prices they charge almost $10 for a cheeseburger and $5 for an average size soft drink . I bought 2 cheeseburgers 1 small cheeseburger 2 hotdogs a medium fries and a large fries with 2 soft drinks and it cost me over $55,00. I couldn't believe it . The food isn't that good to charge such a price. They service was friendly but average compared to the McDonald's next door. This the last time I'll let no my grandkids dictate where we have lunch! read more

My wife and I made the mistake of going to Five Guys in Ranson, WV for a late lunch, 2 P.M. on March 2, 2019. The man leaving the restaurant as we were about to enter, did not hold the door. Not Five Guys fault but that is what we call a clue. Ordering our food I couldn't hear the cashier over the overly loud music. Receiving our food the young man said something to my wife and she could not hear him over the overly loud music. He says to her "I really need to turn down the music." Not that he did. Naturally the order was off a small bit, missing the grilled onions on my wife's junior hamburger. While eating the cashier cleaned tables, however in her moving the chairs she pulled them across the floor which made a sound like fingernails going down a chalkboard. Further the cashier yelled some code for two people approaching from the parking lot. I'm sure it was a nice heads up to the crew while she was out of position and away from the cash register. But it didn't add anything positive to our dinning experience. You guessed it as we were leaving the woman in front of my wife, didn't hold the door either. Five Guys despite that it shows one $ as being inexpensive to eat at, isn't cheap. McDonald's next door is cheap. Needless to say we will not be back to Five Guys in Ranson, WV for some time. read more

Extremely disappointed in the service today. Placed an order online, was told to drive up and they'd bring it outside... 8 minutes later they call back while we're waiting and say how they never got the order and to come inside to place the order they claimed to have gotten the first time we called. There was no social distancing, other customers were waiting inside as well, and the staff had no gloves or masks on. Turned around and left to go to Roy Rogers that DOES take COVID precautions and cares about the health and safety of their customers. We will NEVER be going to a Five Guys ever again. read more

There are bad and good Five Guys locations. This one is excellent. Friendly and attentive staff, quick turnaround, clean dining area, and really really good fries (I am generally not a fry person). The cost is the cost, but at this location, you are getting what you pay for! read more

I ordered online and chose curbside pickup. We arrived and called the number on the sign, we were then informed that we would have to come inside to get our order because they were no longer offering curbside, despite what the website stated. I did not have a mask with me and did not feel comfortable coming inside, as this completely defeated the purpose of choosing the curbside option. An employee did end up brining our order out to the car. I'm not quite sure if this was fault on the websites management team for not updating pick up options or if this was just the employees working at the time who didn't want to do curbside. I should add that I've had multiple curbside orders from the same location before this and during this visit they were not busy at all there was only one other customer in the store. read more

Just what the name says. Good burgers and fries. Went there at 7:30pm on a Friday and did not have to wait to order. Service was good, and the food was good. My son got the grill cheese. It was two hamburger buns flipped with cheese in the middle. Good little sandwich for my 4 year old, but a little pricey at around $3.50. All in all, a good place to grab a burger. Small fries, again, filled a cup, then they added another big scoop to the bag. Enough for both of us. This was the first and probably best Five Guys I ever visited. Friendly, clean and surrounded by lots of open space outside- easy in and out. Five Guys gets *the hamburger* pretty much *exactly* right. Size, flavor, texture - it's exactly what I would create if I could magically conjure up the ideal burger. It's even just sloppy enough. A perfectly neat burger loses something. The boardwalk-style fries -crisp and blonde in color with reddish brown edges are right up there with some of the best. They complement the burger perfectly. The free peanuts are the icing on the cake. The whole place is well done including the iconic red and white tiling and graphics. Great branding really ads to an experience if it's done right. The condiment station is dead-on. Not only do they offer *THE* correct condiment for boardwalk fries (malt vinegar, of course) they provide the little plastic cups with lids so you can just drop it in your bag. Thasher's Fries in OC could REALLY learn something from them about this. Yes, you pay about double what you would at any other fast food place but you DO get your money's worth. ...Am I crazy, but do the burgers seem bigger and this location...? read more

Three stars because the service gets worse every time I come. Order is wrong, food is soggy.... today I walked in and, while I was ordering, the person at the cash register started waiting on a customer by phone in the middle of my order. Not only did she cease looking at and speaking to me at that point, but she actually apologized to the person on the phone for counting my change, at which point she left the money on the counter, turned, and walked away. I used to love Five Guys (I patronized the original decades ago) but to me it's not worth the extra money any more. read more

I had never been to Five Guys and my boyfriend was always saying how good the food was. On a Sunday night, we decided to grab something to eat. Ordered off the app and when we went to get it he still had to wait for about 20 mins-even though we placed our pick up time in the order. While he was in there, he was getting pretty ticked at the 3 high school age boys slapping each other and goofing off instead of cooking our meal. The so called 'manager' was sitting with her friends near the window not even paying attention. Food was good. It definitely hits the spot when you want a burger and the portions are big. I'll be going back to a five guys...just not sure it'll be this location. read more

This was a wonderful surprise, they will make your burger rare. I can't find many places that make steak rare let alone burgers. The portions are large. And the guy who was cooking my burger actually came over to me, he was happy to see someone who didn't want the flavor cooked out of the burger. Very happy employees, very friendly. Free peanuts to and the choice of fountain drinks is spectacular. I can't believe I waited so long to try it out. I ate on Wednesday night and the atmosphere was really laid back. read more

I would have given them 5 stars but my only complaint is that they don't give over flowing fries like the other five guys places. The customer service from this place is wonderful! We went late one night to get burgers and fries....someone put a large fry on top of our burgers and hot dogs...everything was smushed. My husband called just to let the management know so others could avoid this. (it wasn't fun digging 3 burgers and 4 hot dogs, all with toppings, from a heaping pile of fries..hot fries at that.) Keegan (MOD) apologized and offered two meals on the house, we declined but he insisted. I called to redeem and spoke with Niko....super friendly and apologetic. (another MOD). Upon walking in, we stopped a young lady, Alexis. She was the best! She was sincere and apologized many times, for a mishap that she didn't even do. She was also very friendly. She reviewed our order and had the guys start working on it immediately. This isn't customer service you expect from a crew member anymore, well, because its not often given. She worked with a smile and although she didn't have to understanding and empathic, she was! These three people (and the great food of course) is why we'll continue to go to Five Guys!
