Honestly, I didn't expect much from this place. My husband and I had some time to kill to visit a friend and we looked for a place to eat. There wasn't a lot of places open early in the morning besides Burger King and McDonald's so we decided to try out this place. We ordered the breakfast sampler one with waffles, loaded hashbrowns, bacon, eggs and toast and mine pretty much came the same way but without the waffles. The place was surprisingly half full but we were able to get our coffee and order in no time. The food came piping hot. The waffles were delicious and made me wish I had ordered some but my bacon and eggs were cooked just right. Their loaded hashbrowns were the best though- I never had it with ham, jalapenos, mushrooms, onions and cheese. That was probably the highlight of the meal. Traveling from Jersey to Ga. I waited till I got to the southern area to stop for breakfast. Where else will you walk in and hear voices saying "Good morning-come on in" before the door can close behind you. Southern LOVE. Gotta enjoy it while your here. The Texas bacon, egg, cheese melt was really good. Everything here is made to order and served hot. The hash browns with onion and cheese was tasty. Needed no S&P. And the price you can never beat. Great food for a excellent value.. The staff that works together, performs great together. And this shift was getting orders in and out for the customers. Enjoyed watching them help one another in the efforts to please the customers. Great stop along Rt 81 S. Definitely different and worthwhile read more

Great for late night bs food. Always a stop in before I go out of town - it's better later at night for sure. If you can deal with some drunken f*kery at night then by all means stop in. I'm giving the inwood Waffle House a one star just so I can write this review! This is the worse place to go and eat! They have been closed down by the health department! They have awful customer service and management does not care! Corporate does not care! I have made several complaints and still have yet to receive a phone call or message back! On 03/03/2023, between the times of 10:00am and 10:30am, I went to the Inwood, WV location. I was at the register where I dark hard young woman was taking orders. There was nobody else waiting at the register with me at this time. She was writing two receipts or tickets, and was chatting with another worker so I continued to wait for her to be done. She had looked up at me and the other worker behind her had also seen me waiting. She checked her phone and continued to chat with the worker behind her. She then walked away from me, the worker behind her following. The couple at the diner bar eating was looking confused, as was to why I wasn't being served, and was ignored. The worker then went to the stove area across and to the left of me and looked at me, she stood there eating her own food while I waited a moment more. The other worker would not re-approach the register either. The workers were not working. Nobody was cooking or checking anybody out. They just looked at me and ate their food. One other couple who was there, possibly Hispanic, whom was there before me, seated at a table was not served, not even drinks. The worker had also looked at them because they were looking through the kitchen to see what was going on. At this point I could see I wasn't going to get served. After I waited there a moment a man came behind me to pay his ticket and the worker started over to get his ticket. I left, and never got my food. I'm not sure why I would be refused service here. I contacted Waffle House multiple times. I received the Division Managers number, and left a voicemail. My call was never returned. When I finally got some of response from the Division Manager through email he apologized that I didn't get a greeting coming in the door. I told him that was not my complaint. My complaint was the above, which I submitted multiple times, and that I was not served, blatantly ignored, and refused service. I suggested he watch the video footage so that we both can get some clarity on what happened and why. He stopped contact with me. My partner in the day of the incident also submitted a generic complaint on their website, and received a letter and coupons in the mail while I was ignored for a few weeks. read more

I was in town for job training, and after a few weeks of being away from home I missed a good hearty breakfast. Although, Waffle House may be a hit and miss, this one did not disappoint. I arrived with a buddy and our bfast was delicious and brought out exactly as we asked. Eggs were cooked perfectly as we had requested. Say what you will about Waffle House, but this location is actually great. You can't beat their cheap eats, and the friendliness of the servers and staff. Bonus points because it's 7 minutes away from our house so we can go here for breakfast quite often. I will return to this location because I've had great experiences here. read more

We stopped here at the Waffle House for lunch/brunch on our way to NJ from NC. Our first time dining at the Waffle House. Holy amazeballs! Waffle House is scrumptious; best chicken patty melt, ever! Fresh, juicy, thin chicken breast that was cooked perfectly. My husband had a cheesesteak melt with hash browns with mushrooms & onions; he loved it! Our dining companions got breakfast. Eggs, hash browns, waffles and bacon. Big thumbs up from everyone. Yummy sweet tea. Definitely stopping here while we travel back home to visit. (And the WV folk were extremely pleasant and polite). We go here a good bit. All day breakfast, pecan waffles and a dependably fresh cup of coffee equals a "win" in my book. Yes it is a chain. Yes you probably have had a 2 am Waffle House breakfast after your buddies Bachelor/Bachelorette party. But the great thing about this Waffle House - you don't stick to the seat. As Waffle Houses go, this one is pretty clean, and the service tends to be friendlier than I've experience at most others. Although, I expect that they will mirror your bad attitude if you come in with one. Bottom line - expect the same chain restaurant in appearance and menu as always, but you won't have to shower after you leave, and your tummy will be happy. read more

What can I say for a chain? Food, service etc is pretty consistent from one location to another. My personal favorite is their double Angus burger with cheese & onions. Location was across street from hotel I stayed it which is another plus. I would come back here again on my next visit. read more

Upon arriving to the Inwood Waffle House I must admit I was skeptical and unsure on what the quality of the food would be like. But as soon as I walked in Debbie (the local Waffle House rep.) sat me right down and shhh'd me into submission. I ordered a waffle but received a patty melt and from what I understand that's a common mistake. I asked if I could get the waffle still but the waitress insisted I at least try it before she has to go do something and boy am I glad she did. What I bit into can only be described as unearthly. It was the single best moment of my 54 years on this earth (and I have 4 kids). I told her the heck with the waffle! and ordered one more patty melt to go (had to hide from my wife because she has a slow metabolism and if we're being honest it's not the healthiest thing to eat). All in all it was the best sandwich I have ever encountered and would have received a 5 star review if I was just a tiny bit hungrier upon walking in. read more

It really only deserves 2 stars at most but it's a Waffle House so you can't expect much. The prices are dirt cheap and the food isn't bad. It's close to my house so I stop by some Sunday mornings when I don't feel like fixing my own breakfast. Don't expect much in the way of service. The last few waitresses I've had have been so aloof, I'm surprised they even found their way to work. If you want breakfast for under $10 it's pretty much your only choice. read more
