Same standards as per usual. Staff forgot my child's milkshake and were super friendly and quick to get it out to him. No shortage of places to stop to grab a bite nearby, however, I always find Chick-fil-A to be a consistent chain so it's usually my top choice if in an area. read more

Our cashier was really nice. She took our order (kind of long since there were 7 of us) and it all came out correctly. We got regular sandwiches, a spicy sandwich, some filets, fries and a Cobb salad. The nuggets (grilled) were not hot, warm or fresh on my salad. The place was hopping! Hadn't seen a Chick-fil-A that busy inside in a few years. They seemed quick and efficient. Kids were disappointed there was no play place. It was clean for how busy it was. Hate to be that person but as a former chick fil an employee this location does incredibly awful at moving their drive thru lines. They'll have 8 cars waiting at the window and will give you your food as the 2nd to 4th car in line but you can move because the people infront have not gotten their food so now your forced to wait. On a road trip from Pittsburgh to D.C., I stopped for dinner. There's a drive-thru and a large dining room with plenty of seats, clean restrooms, and friendly staff. As always, my spicy chicken sandwich on a wheat, no-butter bun was excellent. I love mayo on the waffle fries and honey roasted BBQ sauce on my sandwiched. Pretty okay service. We ordered on the app. I did notice my nuggets box was turned on it's side in the bag, and nuggets spilled out. Annoying and not the most sanitary. Food tasted as expected. Food was great. Service fine. However, getting here off of Route 70 is not recommended. Several miles of turns and lights with no turn signals. A real bait and switch. Once in the parking lot where we chose to eat our food after such a pain the butt shady detour, you have to navigate around the building avoiding cars in order to get to the restroom. While in there a guy started yelling how much he hates this location and that nobody knew how to drive. The only people who should visit this location are locals. Avoid if you are traveling through. We lost a half an hour off of our drive. I was pissed that the long drive was not noted on the highway exit sign. This might sound petty but when driving along a busy trucking and commuter route, you need a safe on and off experience. read more

Pulled into the drive-thru to order breakfast. Placed our order, pulled around, paid for our order and received our drinks. After a few minutes, we were asked to pull into one of the reserved spots to wait for our food. We were given a gift card for a free sandwich for our inconvenience. We pulled around to wait for our food. In the meantime, we realized that one of the drinks was wrong. When they brought our food, I mentioned the incorrect drink and the worker quickly went back in to replace it, with an apology. Once we got the corrected drink, we were on our way. About 2 minutes down the road, we realized that one of our meals was missing. So, back we go. I park and go into the store to explain the missing meal, which they quickly retrieved for me, with more apologies. We left again, only to get a few miles down the road to realize they had not given us plastic-ware, so one of our party had to eat a breakfast bowl without plastic-ware. This place used to be a model of efficiency and accuracy, but they continue to miss the mark as of late! read more

The drive through kid was horrible and pushy. The wait time was terrible, 12 cars went past us in the second drive through lane, our food finally got to us, I myself had a hair in my chicken sandwich, all the buns in our meals were dry and crumb as we ate them, well what could be ate due to the hair and then to top it off fries were cold! This place was awful, and for what we paid not worth it. Absolutely love Chick-fil-A! Amazing meals and the most friendly people working in fast food. We stopped at this Chick-fil-A on 11/8 with a bus load of 8th grade students coming home from a field trip to DC. They had all of us served in 15 minutes. We barely put a dent in the regular service for everyone else. It was unreal! Last year we tried a Wendy's and were there for an hour. Just another reason why I love these restaurants. read more

We drove by night before last to get an ice cream cone because I loved their ice cream. Over $4 for 2 cones but when they brought them out one cone was halfway decent and the 2nd one was just a dollop of ice cream on top. She tried to hand it in the window and I told her I would accept the decent cone but not that dollop. She took it back and brought it back and said that's what they were dispensing now. My husband at this point asked for a manager who came back out with the same cone (might have been 17 yrs old) and said that is all corporate would allow them to dispense and they had overfilled my cone. I told him if that was the case I wanted my money back. We had bought ice cream cones in another state the night before and they were fine. My office buys from here a couple times a week but no more. If I'm paying the bill we won't be eating at this restaurant. So they had to throw away the cone and refund my money all while holding up their drive thru line. So disappointed! What's next? 1/2 pcs of cheese and a sliced in half piece of chicken??? My price goes up but my value goes down? I've all but stopped eating out because of other restaurants cost and value so no more treats out . Wish I had taken at least one pic in the three times that cone came to the car. read more

This location has adapted to the COVID environment extremely well. They have used their entire parking lot and drive-thrus to accommodate their customers in an orderly, efficient, and safe manner. I usually try and hit the Chick-fil-A once or twice a week. The folks at the Hagerstown location are "spot on". The way they move cars through is incredible. I was about 25 cars deep and it took 13 mins to get my food. I was 8 cars deep at Wendy's and it took 16 mins!! I love the chicken and the Chick-fil-A sauce is awesome. The Cobb salad and nuggets are my go to's. My wife loves the Southwest Chicken Tortilla soup! Well done Chick-fil-A of Hagerstown you guys Rock!! read more

I ordered the chicken wrap for the first time today, took 2 bites and noticed how dry it was and how much of it is actually the bread or pita or w.e they use. I went back through the drive thru 1 min after buying it. Michael (black shirt drive thru employee) said there's nothing he can do even though he saw I took 2 bites. I asked if I can exchange it he said no. I said okay then, that sucks, can I at least get a small sweet tea since it was so dry and he said sure but you have to pay. Saddest part was I went back for a refun or exchange, and ended up paying around $2 more for a small sweet tea :( overall Chick fila made me feel unimportant and I don't think I'll be returning even though I eat a spicy deluxe there 1-2 times a week. read more

Never in my whole life have I experienced such rude customer service. We were in line ordering our food before the store closed, until we get to the speaker trying to order to be told we wouldn't be served because we were not in the lot before six, but we had been on the lot for 15-20 minutes before hand waiting in line. We asked to speak with a manager on the subject. They proceeded to tell us they wouldn't serve us because they didn't have anymore food ready and refused to make more. So not only did they lie to us, but also did absolutely nothing other than reject our service to fix the issue. In no means were they understanding or polite in helping this situation. They can whip through a line out the door in no time, and this happens sometimes since they welcome buses. The drive thru takes forever, so if you're in a hurry you're better off walking up to the counter even if you're not dining in. The counter staff is always neatly dressed (which is rare for fast food restaurants in this town!) and very polite. I'm a fan of their waffle fries and their milkshakes. This summer they debuted a peach milkshake which was yummy, although it tasted more like an orange creamsicle. If you go there during peak times prepare yourself for a noisy dining room. They also have an indoor play area, which invites a large toddler crowd. The dining area is hit or miss, but messy more often than not. It is almost impossible to find a clean table/booth that is available. Their kids-meals are very popular and usually include a book or some type of educational material. This restaurants also hosts charity-based events regularly, and sometimes has special events for their toddler-tween customers. Not a bad place to pop in for a quick bite! Just remember, this franchise is always closed on Sundays. read more
