I should probably state, right up front, that I really like Harvey's milkshakes. The chocolate…read moreshakes are brown, rather than beige, and they actually taste like chocolate. (I know, it's a radical idea, but once you get over the shock, it's quite nice.) I'm giving them a full point on the shakes alone. Which is not to say that the rest of the menu is bad: I've had the veggie burger, the turkey burger (which was under testing at the time -- I don't know if it's going to be added to the menu permanently), and the chicken wrap, and they were all very tasty. Harvey's schtick is that they assemble to burger in front of you, and put in the toppings you want. It's sort of like a burger equivalent of Subway, only with not quite so many choices (lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, bell peppers, sweet green relish, ketchup, mustard, hot sauce, mayonnaise, and mesquite sauce). Personally, I suspect that it's the flame broiling, or perhaps the combination of flame broiling and the toppings of your choice, that make the burgers so good, but after trying Harvey's about half a dozen times now (including three visits to this location), I'm considering moving Harvey's to the top of the list of my favourite fast food burger joints.

It was so fresh and sweet, which I thought would be difficult to find outside of California! Ice Cream: Yes, ice cream and tea is definitely a good idea! The banana cream pie tastes like your classic Runts banana flavor (the original banana that got wiped out) and the black cherry has plenty of big cherry pieces. If you follow the route, it leads to another bigger parking lot. Parking is free! Reservations are highly recommended. My guest and I made a reservation for two for 1:30pm. It was very busy when we walked in. We got a table right by the door. There were artwork and paintings hung all around the cafe - it was cute. I ordered an afternoon tea set, as well as an extra breakfast burrito for my guest and I to share. There is a tea menu to look at all the various options they have. It was nice to see that they had many options to choose. Our set came with mini sandwiches, scones and dessert and fruits. I would definitely come back to visit - it would be nice to come in the summer and book a table out on their patio.
