All our meals were so good, everything made from scratch (even the ketchup), they made breakfast sandwiches outstanding! We drove an hour to meet my son, and we said we can't wait to come back. It was between here and Home and I had been there before so we came here. It's the old Tiki bar across from the Mexican place. Same as tiki bar...small place. Not many tables and it was freezing inside so we moved out to the patio. Not much warmer....Whatsoever. There were doors open that didn't close properly and it was pouring outside. I said to myself it is what it is. Ordered the Insalada di Roma to start. Eh. Overpowering garlic taste. Got the lobster roll and man got the Thai Fighter Burger. My lobster was tasty as all lobster is. I can't do gluten and they don't offer gluten free buns so I just ate the lobster meat and fries. The butter on the lobster was very different. Thick. Corn buerre blanc sauce. I still don't know how I feel about it but to me lobster doesn't need a thick sauce on it. Also, it said MP on the menu upon arrival but online one menu said $34 and their actual website said $40. It was $52 tonight. Are you EFFING KIDDING ME?! Never in my life have I seen a lobster roll be $52. This place has no business charging that. We go out to eat all the time to very nice places and have never paid that. It wasn't even a large roll!!! Average. I went to use the bathroom and it had an Out of order sign on the door. I had to go so I used it anyway. Door didn't shut. Prayed no one would try to come in. My hair stinks hours later of fried food. Gross. For almost $200...would not come back.

We recently stopped into Little Pub in Branford and enjoyed an overall solid meal with a few…read morestandout items, though not without a couple of drawbacks. The restaurant has a cozy, rustic pub atmosphere that makes it a comfortable place to settle in, whether you are grabbing drinks or sitting down for a full meal. The menu leans into creative comfort food, offering elevated versions of classic pub staples. We started with the nachos, which came piled high with melted cheddar jack, chili, pico de gallo, jalapeños, and other classic toppings. They were flavorful and satisfying, with a good balance of cheese and heat, and they made for a strong opening to the meal. That said, the price felt a bit steep for an appetizer, especially compared to similar local pub spots. For what you pay, you expect either a larger portion or something that really stands out. The New England clam chowder had a rich, creamy base with tender potatoes and good seasoning, delivering that comforting, traditional flavor you hope for. However, it could have used more clams. While the broth itself was enjoyable, the clam presence was lighter than expected, and for a seafood forward soup at that price point, a more generous portion of clams would have made a noticeable difference. The meatloaf grilled cheese sandwich was one of the more memorable dishes. Thick cut toast held together hearty slices of meatloaf, melted cheddar, bacon, BBQ sauce, frizzled onions, and buttermilk ranch. It was rich, indulgent, and packed with flavor, a fun twist on classic comfort food. It is definitely not a light option, but if you are in the mood for something bold and filling, it delivers. We also ordered the Ventura Highway burger, topped with smoked bacon, gorgonzola, and guacamole over a juicy Angus patty. The combination of smoky, creamy, and tangy flavors worked well together, and the burger itself was cooked properly. Still, like the other items, the price felt high for a burger, especially when appetizers, sandwiches, wraps, and burgers all sit at the upper end of the local pub pricing spectrum. Overall, Little Pub offers creative, well executed comfort food in a welcoming setting. The flavors are there, and the menu has personality. The main critiques are value based, the chowder could use more clams, and the pricing across much of the menu feels elevated for what you receive. It is a good spot for a casual night out, just be prepared to pay a bit of a premium for the experience.

I started with the french onion soup, which I thought was a bit small for $9, but it was tasty and hit the spot on a cold winters night. My husband ordered the BLT sandwich with fries. For my meal, I ordered the thanksgiving turkey wrap with sweet potato fries, which came piping hot. We both enjoyed our sandwiches and fries. You would never know this location was once a chinese food restaurant. The decor was rustic and pub like, giving a very cozy feel. This location is close to home for us, so I definitely see us returning again very soon!

We arrived at Clam Castle and as I was about to get out of the truck my cousin text me the viral lobster roll at Supreme Seafood. I told my fiancé I want to go to Supreme Seafood. He said it's only down the street. We arrived and I was very excited. As we walked in we were greeted by the owner and the two young ladies at the counter they were very welcoming and iit was very clean inside. It's a very small establishment with a eclectic vibe and it was quite cozy. Our starters were clam chowder and I had the shrimp corn chowder. It was very flavorful and they didn't skimp on the shrimp. My fiancé ordered a full order of the clam strips with coleslaw and I ordered the $55.00 lobster roll with steak fries and coleslaw. They do have a $40.00 lobster roll which 4 Oz and $80.00 which is 16 Oz of lobster meat. The clam strips were fried perfectly and there is nothing better then tasting that fresh clam they were perfect. My lobster roll had 8 oz of sweet, succulent meaty lobster over flowing in perfectly toasted buttery roll. I had very huge pieces and there were some trying to escape the roll but I won that fight that lobster roll was banging. The new owner informed me that the original owners were there for 35 years. The new owner had been there for 4 years. I told him where I was initially going and he said they had a family that ordered their 2 foot lobster roll that cost a working $230.00. He showed us the lobster roll he prepared and what was left after the family of three which included two adults and a newborn baby. I will definitely return to try the 2 foot lobster roll. If your in North Branford, CT please stop and enjoy all the delicious seafood at Supreme Seafood. To all my Yelper let's continue to eat our way through the world.#Foodie4life.

This is one place that has them, fried to perfection and offers them in their Combination for a small upcharge. I got an order, which was a generous pile of scallops, shrimp, belly clams and filet. I got a separate order of fried calamari with cocktail sauce; another fave. The eat in area is cute and comfortable and the two men, owners, I believe were friendly. I ate about half of my order and took the rest home. Yum!
