So I typically don't think or give much thought when ordering fast food. But least have a decent standard of work place practice. This locations need a little help. First off I order by drive through and picked up at the window. I'm not saying don't make work fun but while ordering the headphone was picking up some of the other works in the background of them laughing. Again great! But unfortunately I had to repeat every item back to the guy taking the order several times. Thankfully he did repeat everything back to me once he got it all entered. Next was the wait. Again I can be patient when need be and over all the time wasn't horrible but still long. Maybe shy of 8 mins. Got the food and ice cream. Ice cream was good and they did the whole cup flip stuff they do. Girls ate them and loved them. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Honestly very hot at first. But I'll take fresh any day. French fries were good nothing special and same with the bread. My biggest issue was the amount of ranch they gave us. It came in a little black cup that maybe holds a tablespoon or 2 of ranch and it literally had enough to fill the bottom of the cup. Now this is just pathetic. I could have gotten a pre packed thing of ranch with more in it than this. Please do better. Over all probably won't come back to this location as we have one closer to our house that is a tad bit better. But as a whole DQ needs to clean some things up. read more

I forget how rude the staff is here. We went inside 15 minutes before they lock the doors and make you go through drive thru. One girl gave us a dirty look and another immediately went and locked the door so no one else could enter. They then began discussing loudly how to get people to leave the lobby and whether or not they were allowed to kick us out. There is literally only one person working and they just tried to ignore you. I sat into drive-through for about 15 to 20 minutes, then pulled up thinking that maybe the audio machine was broken and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt the lady would avoid eye contact after another 5 to 10 minutes avoiding I honked a few times and even called and no one even tried to look over. I have been to here twice since the Bruce B Down Dairy Queen close the business. I like the location is between the residential and commercial area. Its location was at the major street of Wesley Chapel. I like about Dairy Queen is about the their blizzard. This item is their signature dessert. When they finish the mixed, they will turn the ice cream upside down to show the concrete featuring of how sticky is the mixed. They do have a lot of premixed features. Also you can choose the mixed by your own flavor. My favorite mixed is the vanilla ice cream with heath bar and the cappuccino flavor. This is the best mixed I love to have. Time to time they have the seasoning mixed design blizzard. Sometimes they are very good. It is more important to choose the ingredients and the flavor to mixed. But sometimes will surprise you like the flavor that you have never attempted before. read more

Stopped in on our way home from the shopping plaza that's nearby. My daughter wanted a Blizzard and you know DQ is the place to go! We went through drive thru and we were in and out in no time! Greeted, order placed and drove around to the window to pay and get our Blizzard. She opted for the Cookies and Cream and boy was it yummy. Yes, I had to take a bite to ensure it was good :). Staff was friendly and we actually got the blizzard before I got my credit card back from paying. They even hold the Blizzard upside down before handing it to you to show that it won't fall out of the cup. After all, that's what DQ is known for. Just cute that they continue to do this. read more

Horrible service!!!!!! I ordered my meal at 3:35, got to the window and waited for my order. I first got handled my banana split approximately 3 minutes later while I was paying for everything. I then got handled my drink and then proceeded to wait for the rest of my HOT FOOD for 10-12 minutes. I was suppose to be a hot dog and fries. When I finally got my food and drove away THERE WERE NO FRIES, by then my banana split was melted. There is no problem whatsoever with this Dairy Queen! It is a perfect convenient stop for a blizzard, or an ice cream treat for me and my pup! I have been here to eat outside or have it to go through the drive through! They are super efficient and helpful! This is a nice DQ location. It is clean and the service is fast and friendly. It is not a Grill and Chill, but still has several full meal items on the menu. Seriously, forget McFlurries, Blizzards won the battle long ago. The seasonal ones are usually great. I would also recommend their shakes and malts. For those of you poor timid spirits, unwilling to try something daring their soft serve is good too. Went there this evening and the weather turned very stormy. The car in front of me bypassed the order screen and placed their order at the window. I did the same. Why??? Because it was POURING RAIN! You couldn't put your window down without the rain pouring in & it was so loud no way to place an order. How long do you wait with the window down with rain pouring in your car? There isn't any cover at the order screen. I can't believe the guy working at the window, chastised me! He told me, next time wait and put my order in at the order screen. This Dairy Queen is ok. It was closed for a while And since reopening seems to be a little better. We stopped off for a few Blizzards as a surprise for the kids. The drive through was a little slow but I'm not sure if that was me being impatient or then actually being slow. Probably a little of both. Dairy Queen is usually pretty consistent with their Blizzards. Sometimes you will catch one that is not mixed in very well. That wasn't the case this time around. So, no complaints there! Just last week I had a wonderful experience with Dairy Queen's awesome cake decorator Gwen. I showed her a picture I was hoping could be on the cake. It was complicated. But she far exceeded my expectations. She recreated a student designed mortar board almost exactly. Our granddaughter was thrilled and surprised as were the rest of the family. Order took forever because she was teaching and she was rude to me for trying to give the order faster.(apparently customer service is not part of the training.) I only continued to visit this location as a mere lack of options. Fortunately a few other options have come along in the past year so I never need to return. The drive thru is very slow. The counter service is very slow. The second star is because the ice cream is decent. I believe the reason is that the site is staffed ONLY with very young and very inexperienced employees and a ridiculous turn over. That is not to say that young employees can't be exceptional. It is to say the generally, they require a more experienced manager to train and lead them. I don't blame the young employees for the failure that is this location. This is a terrible Dairy Queen...and I'm giving them some grace due to COVID-19. Moved here in July 2020, and I continue to be disappointed. First, their hours are inconsistent and there is NO sign listing hours. I've picked up that they close at 9pm, at least that's when they put up the sign blocking the drive thru. However, I drove up to it at 8:30 pm tonight, and it was closed. There was an employee inside (because I saw them duck), but s wasp pester to be closed. I'm just tired of it.
