4/7/2026 My fiancé and I came here for an evening snack. He always orders a hot fudge Sunday with added strawberry syrup at the top. There is an extra fee for this special Sunday but my fiancé received both very little chocolate and strawberry syrups, which did not even add up to a regular syrup serving. We politely requested the associate to add more chocolate syrup. She took the Sunday and returned the Sunday back the same way it was given to her. I am unsure on what the associate did with the Sunday when she took it to the back. But we will not return due to poor customer service. Why charge extra for an item that you DO NOT provide. We threw away the Sunday for fear of what the associate may have done to the Sunday when she walked away from our sight. read more

While this location is small compared to others, it has a lot to offer. That explains why the drive thru is always lined around to the street. Because it is small, I think many fail to realize that they actually have indoor seating. My wife &I sat inside and enjoyed our coney dogs, Fries, and drinks and Topped it off with some sundaes. Food was portioned and prepared perfectly by a crew that was friendly while being super busy. While they have a busy drive thru, stop in some time, sit down, and actually enjoy a meal! read more

Just left this location. Busy. Ordered a double cheeseburger, got a single. Ordered another burger, asked what came in it, got the burger without the items on it that they just told came on it. Fries not fresh. Only thing good was the blizzards. go figure. read more

The window service at this location is atrocious. There were cars sitting in the middle of the street trying to turn in to the parking lot, but the line was moving way too slowly. I foresee a car wreck or worse occurring unless window service improves very soon. read more

The worst customer service I have ever seen! I ordered a mini blizzard the in competent manager had to call the owner in the store. He argued with me over the point the cookie dough was freezer burnt and would not make it right with me. I left it on the counter and walked out! They will never see my business any! This is THE WORST Dairy Queen I've ever visited. The service is slow, the workers are rude, the dining and kitchen areas were filthy, and the girl took my cash and without wearing gloves or washing her hands grabbed my wife's brownie for her sundae. So I go through the drive through and order 2 blizzards. Not only is the line ridiculous but the service was awful! The girl had an attitude about me asking to change my order (my bad because I ordered the wrong one for my mother). She refused to let me change it without paying for it, fine. I did. Then she flat out lies to me about them being out of lids....come on. I called her out on it and she huffs, then says "fine" (insert attitude), walks to the counter and grabs a lid. This location is just down the road from me but I will from now on go out of my way to another DQ just to avoid the service here! I will also be following this up with a call to corporate. Bought 2 medium strawberry cheesecake blizzards. I asked them to please NOT over mix them. Instead of thick ice cream with nice chunks of cheesecake we received tiny bits in a watery mess. No wonder they refuse to turn their blizzards upside down! Get a clue people and learn how to mix properly instead of telling the customer they are wrong. The manager is very rude and disrespectful. I have interacted with him both times I have come here and both times I have left disappointed. THE WORST customer service and manners of any establishment in Springfield displayed by both the employees and owner. Dive up the road to Coldstone. My wife and I visited the store today for ice cream. I asked Amanda what flavor ice cream was the Salted Caramel Chocolate Truffle blizzard. Amanda stated that it was vanilla ice cream. After receiving the blizzard it was obviously chocolate ice cream. I informed Amanda that The reason I asked was because we don't care for chocolate ice cream. Bits of chocolate truffle sure, chocolate ice cream not so much. She immediately got an attitude and refused to accommodate remaking it. I asked what was in the blizzard and she informed me they add coco powder. I politely informed her that adding coco powder to a blended vanilla ice cream makes it chocolate ice cream. She refused and kept saying it wasn't chocolate but vanilla with coco powder. I asked her how to make chocolate milk? She didn't know. I informed her you add coco powder to mikk and blend, exactly the same way you make chocolate ice cream. She refused to remake or refund the product stating. "We made what you ordered, and there is nothing I'm going to do". I asked for the owners information and a what would be a good time to reach him. After 9, she said shortly. I called after 9 asking to speak to Tony. Immediately he acted as if I was bothering him. At this point it wasn't about the ice cream but rather the worst example of customer service I've ever experienced. He didn't seem to care and stated "If i had to remake 10 ice creams a day I wouldn't be in business." I informed him this is why we asked specifically what flavor Ice cream the blizzard was made with. He insisted that it was vanilla and the blended coco powder does not make it chocolate. He then said "If you would have read the board it would have told you what was in it" I apologized for trusting his staffs word over that of a plastic sign. At this point I could see where his employees received their complete lack of customer service skills. I told him that my families patronage would have no trouble driving the extra half mile down the road to the Coldstone Creamery where they would be more than happy to remake an order after misleading customer with incorrect information. While standing in the store waiting to Speak to Amanda I witnessed another employee making ice cream cough no less than 6 times and never cover her mouth, once while a customers ice cream was in her hands not a foot from her face.
