Last night we stopped at the Granbury Dairy Queen. What a horrid idea! First the staff does NOT follow health code at all, constantly wiping their hair and face, and clothing. Ignoring customers waiting and generally acting like they do not care. Management did not care either. The tacos we ordered were not well put together and frankly this location should be health inspected daily! No clean tables, filthy floor and I am glad I avoided the rest rooms! I've never given a 1 star review. We went through the drive around 2:50 on a Monday. One car ahead of us that was pulled ahead waiting. My husband and I ordered Peanut Butter Parfaits. We waited unusually long to get our much anticipated treats. The lady at the window was nice. She presented our order with short spoons instead of the regular long handles. We decided to pull into a parking spot to eat. As we began to eat we realized our order was premade and frozen! How disappointing to have the hot fudge frozen. It changes the texture completely leaving the experience tricky to eat. We had to chip each bit of chocolate off the sides. As you get to the bottom the spoon barely reaches. We both ended up "splashing" ourselves as we worked at breaking the chocolate. It feels like someone made the decision to save time without accounting for the customer experience. This DQ doesn't offer the dilly bar for kids with their kids meals depsite it listed being on the coupon and packages of Dilly Bars being for sale in the store. I'll review this DQ just so you know...do NOT order a steak or chicken finger basket unless you are prepared to only like the steak or chicken fingers. The toast has no butter, nor do they have any. It's always this soggy piece of white bread. It's always soggy and gross. They ALWAYS short you on gravy. It's never full, and sometimes it's just liquid without any thickness. And they have the worst fries...possibly of any fast food. They do make a good buster bar. I've had 3 in 5 years. Tacos edible. Blizzards are good if u like them. Steak finger and chicken finger basket...just gross. The last time I went there and it will be the last since their food sucks AND it's expensive. I got chicken fingers. My husband ordered a brownie extreme blizzard which was excellent. He also ordered a hunger buster with cheese. The only disappointment was that there was no cheese on his burger. This Dairy Queen today is a vast improvement over what it was last year. It would be 5 stars except now with the COVID-19 virus they are having call-in orders to go through the drive-up window. They should move their employees cars from the parking spaces across from the drive-up window and have those spaces for call-in order customers. read more

We were a little disappointed, well my grandson was for sure. He loves our Dairy Queen in our town. Well they don't sell chili cheese hot dogs. My daughter ordered a side salad which was so small for the price. And they Don't tell you that a salad dressing is not included and they should give you that option it doesn't come with a salad so you have to ask for it plus it cost you extra to get. I just feel like they need to let the customers know put it on the menu or tell someone when you're placing an order give them a choice. I have been to Dairy Queen 3 times now and the food is always fresh and hot. The lady named Mary is polite, wonderful, helpful and happy.

I've been here several times and the drive thru is the slowest imaginable! Not worth the wait!

I was so excited for Dairy Queen to come back to Granbury. Now I'm wondering why. Not one time have I visited this location and my order been right. Tonight I ordered two steak finger baskets, one with fries, one with onion rings. When I got home one box had onion rings, fries, bread, and gravy in it. How do you forget the meat? I took the "meal" back, first time I've ever taken back an order that was wrong, I usually just deal with it. I spoke with a "manager" that offered to make it right. I asked her to re-do both meals but she refused. I asked for my money back, which she did refund my total. I am not happy. I wanted what I ordered. We went to the DQ in Granbury Tx yesterday to get an Ice Cream and the sign said it was 2.49 when we got to the window they tried to charge us 3.24. The girl said wel it rings up 3.24 and I told her but the sign says 2.49. she then got the manager over and he came to the window and jus t said "yes?" I explained the problem to him and he said that the price went up but they just have not changed the sign and just stared at me blankly. So I left. False advertising! Drove 20 miles for a blizzard and was treated badly by a man in the drive thru. Went inside to talk with the manager to find out that he was the manager. He said his name was Danny. His comment when asking why he treated a customer like that was "don't you do what your boss tells you too". He continued to argue with me and never once tried to make it right. The staff looked very surprised by his responses. I feel sorry for them. If he treats customers like that I can't imagine how he treats his staff.
