Today I ordered two grande burritos, one with jalapeños and one without. When I started eating my burrito, I noticed there was no sausage in it so I opened it up to see if maybe it was clumped at the bottom. There is no sausage in it at all then I opened the one with jalapeños to see if there was sausage and there was no sausage in it. I called the store and asked if it was supposed to have sausage. I thought maybe I was wrong and they said yes and so then I told them that my burritos neither one had sausage in them and they told me to come in and they would replace them next time I was in the area so I went to the doctor then went back by there. They replaced my burritos only this time They made them super small. I ended up tearing half the tortilla off and eating it like a taco. While I appreciate them replacing the burritos, I do think they should have replaced them the an actual grande burrito and not a taco. read more

Every time I stop by Braum's I am always reminded of why I go: friendly staff with delicious food at very affordable prices. My go to favorites right now are the Chicken Strip Dinner and the Sweet and Spicy Gouda Burger, which is effectively a modified Sweet and Spicy bacon burger from Whataburger but made with fresh patties instead of a frozen ones. On top of all that, their ice cream is as good as ever, from the simple vanilla to the new Mexican flavors they have. It's a crying shame there isn't one in Stephenville, I sure could use something from Braum's every now and then while I study. read more

Terrible! I know this place was shut down within the past two years for health code violation. I've always noticed it's dirty every time I'm in there..... call just now and try to order six bags of burgers. They told me they couldn't get the order done before 545 which is about an hour from now. Basically told me they didn't want to serve me lol! Everyone is here is usually wonderful no problems. Except we've had a problem with one of their younger kids, Levi, messing up our order. We've asked for Reese's candy mix and the two times he's given us butterfinger. Another time we asked for Oreo and m&ms in one and he gave us two mixes one with Oreo and one with m&m. I would say this Braum's is A-OK (3 stars). I do not frequent Braum's very often, but we were craving ice cream and this was the only place I could think of, that is open late (on a Sunday night). And it showed! The line stretched all the way to the door, and was getting longer as we waited. The line did not seem to move very quickly either. We weren't in a hurry, so we just enjoyed the show. As my wife waited in line, I checked out the store. Good collection of the staples. Great collection of ice cream, some was on sale. I suspect some is always on sale! Explains why my Dad always had Braum's ice cream in the freezer at home! When it was finally our turn, we ordered our 3 sundaes and sat down. Dining room was not very occupied. Does this place have a drive-thru? I couldn't imagine sitting in your car that long. Sundaes hit the spot. All tasty. I forgot which one I got, but it was one of the new ones being advertised on a poster. Hopefully I grabbed a picture or two. The guy keeping the seating area clean and tidy was friendly. Must be new as the manager gave him an impromptu lesson on salt, pepper, and napkin holder placement. I'd like to start off by saying I'd leave a negative star review if I could. We went to this location for such a simple order. It's almost impressive how badly they botched this. Firstly my girlfriend wanted an oreo mix, they're out of oreo. Fine, not their fault. Is what it is. So we substituted that for a very EASY, simple, one scoop of cookie dough. How in the world can you screw this up you may ask. I'll tell you how. They somehow managed to perfectly blend orange SHERBET into the cookie dough throughout the whole cone. Of all the flavors to merge with cookie dough, this had to be the worst outcome. Also the lady running the drive thru was being extremely strange. She did not speak a word to either of us and just gave us a look every little while until they finished screwing up her ONE SCOOP cone. One last thing. We found a band aid in our ice cream last time we were at this establishment, but that was years ago. Decided to give it another chance... big mistake. read more

It is a fact that I love Braums and have been eating burgers and ice cream at their locations for over 40 years. However, this Granbury location needs some attention. Came in at noon on a Monday and ordered the 4 piece chicken meal. I normally eat their burgers but i decided to try the chicken strips with gravy and fries. The chicken was overcooked and dry and tasted like it had been fried in old grease. The gravy was flavorless and very runny and thank God for ketchup which made the meal easier to go down. 8.75 for a meal in which the best thing was the limeade. This place definitely needs a manager change and some attention to cleanliness as the floors looked like they have not been swept or mopped in days. Rude employees. We ordered multiple meals with different shakes and drinks. An older woman handed me a drink and I asked her "what drink is this" just i know where to pass it in the car she rudely responded "it's the dr. Pepper" after that she mumbled "what else is it supposed to be?" Fairly impressed at this location. Our stop here includes getting some ice cream and a milkshake. Both were fantastic but the inside was interesting. I never knew this place had a "mini-mart" in it so that was interesting to see. Also, the inside was just "dirty" in general but nothing more than some napkins laying around and crumbs. read more

Hubby lifted the lid to his drink to eat some ice and found a long light hair inside his cup. He is bald and I have black hair so it wasn't ours. Initially,we thought they were closed bc there were no customers but were asked to pull up to wait for our order despite no one in back of us or in front of us. We had been talking about how Braums' burgers and fries are so awesome so we tried their breakfast this morning after several years of not having had it. Breakdown: Breakfast burritos were meh. I don't mind crunchy onions but thought the sausage was sparse and prefer yellow cheese instead of white. Hubby hates onions much less crunchy ones and agreed they were mildly filled with ingredients. They have very good hash browns. His ham egg and cheese English muffin was impressively gooey with yellow cheese but the bread was not toasted at all, a disappointment for that. The small tea was fine until he found the hair. I will always lift the lid from now on drinks. To be fair my hubby said it wasn't a big deal, it happens and he wasn't bothered. I notified the asst. manager who offered a refund or a drink replacement. It was a small tea so not worth me accepting the offer but more over I just wanted her to address the staff to be more careful in the future so other customers wouldn't share our experience. She said they wear caps but no hair nets. I was extremely disgusted by the hair but hubby was not. So, to each his own. It's either these things happen or never again. read more

We ate dinner at Braum's in Granbury, Texas tonight and were disappointed. The chicken in my salad was soggy & without flavor. (I had ordered crispy rather than the grilled.) It was difficult to eat with the small, plastic forks and to cut the apple slices with the plastic fork. Also the cherry tomatoes were difficult to eat with the forks. The thin, plastic cups were also difficult to fill & use. The very small straws were strange, too. We also had gnats flying around our food. We'll stick to what they specialize in, wonderful ice cream items. Also, we thought the sign out front was strange, too, saying 3 pints, and underneath that, 2 for $6.
