You will have to wait in the overflow parking even if you're the only person in line. If there are two people you both will wait in the overflow parking for 10-15 mins, and this is guaranteed. 65% of the time your order will be wrong. 75% of the time they will be out of key items such as, fries burgers, and chicken. I choose dq at times because it's closest to lowes where i frequently have to go. I know what I'm getting into when I go. I wanted to tell others who have an option. You can do what Ray did and hit the Dairy Queen drive thru for a hot fudge sundae. This place at 9 PM on a Saturday wasn't crowded. Placing the order was quick. It almost took more time rolling the windows down (okay, pushing the button and waiting on them to lower). Two identical cups were ordered but one had about 20% more. The fudge was okay and the ice cream was Dairy Queen's, but hey, it fit what we wanted. Off we drove to spoon in something to plus up our waistlines and delight to our taste buds. read more

Owner needs to sack the whole team on today 4/25. We travel America for work and stop almost daily at DQ and this is the only bad experience we have had. They messed up are order which is no biggie, it happens, but the attitude we caught from server was enough for me to want to throw the order back over the counter, then we could hear the rest of the team talking about how "picky" we are... THE FROZEN HOT CHOCOLATES ARE MEANT TO HAVE CREAM AND CHOCOLATE SAUCE ON TOP! I know it's hard to find good employees but damn, that place is scraping the bottom of the barrel clearly. read more

Have never encountered people so unprofessional in a food place ever. The frozen ice chocs were icey and watery and had no cream and choc on top as per the pics on menu and every other dairy queen we had been to. I told them about it and they went and remade one so we could re try it, during this process the ladies continued to talk about us loudly and make comments like who would've thought ice cream would have ice in it, well suprise idiot it shouldn't have ice in it! I believe these comments come from the lady named Jay. I have worked for one of the biggest dairy industries in the world and i know when icecream isnt right. Went through the drive thru. They not only gave us old food but we had to wait because they kept forgetting to give us food we ordered. We called when we realized our chicken was old and the fries weren't even cooked all the way on top of them being cold and asked them to remake it that we were on our way back. They told us the only thing they would remake for us is the chicken. They shorted us on chicken and refused to remake all our food. Definitely feel like it's worth the drive to go 45 min out of my way to Washington for some Dairy Queen. To the girl at the drive thru.. the customer is always right. Smile through your mask and say "I'm so sorry let me fix that for you" don't tell me that I'm wrong and you aren't giving me fresh food. Poor service location. Evidence of poor management or ownership. Long lines. Only one person at the counter. Drive through wrapped around the building. We asked for onions on a burger. It came with only 2 quarter sized tiny onion pieces. Went up to the counter to explain and asked for more onions and was charged extra for "a side of onions"! I had to pay extra for something that should've been on the sandwich to start with. There was evidence of this type of experience throughout the entire visit. Disappointing- will avoid this place. Also, no changing table in the bathroom - a momma was changing her newborn on a blanket on the floor. It has less than 2 stars for a reason. read more

I went in for an hour lunch break to grab something quick and get out. Had a 1/3 pound backyard bbq medium fries with ranch and a tea. Then another side order of large fries with queso. It took a half hour to make my order, then they gave the last ranch to someone who wanted it after me. Didn't even give me a drink cup or anything. TERRIBLE! They turned their grills off but still took food orders? We had two separate orders. Got our first order but then they said they couldn't make anymore food so we only got two drinks and a 1/3 burger and paid $16. They refused to refund us at first and couldn't understand that we still didn't have all of our food. Manager told us to come back tomorrow. Thank you, DQ! I needed a cake for my son's birthday, so I stopped on August 15th, only to find the dining room closed, but the drive-thru open. I was nervous about ordering a cake through the drive-thru, but I have to say it was a success! The lady taking my order not only helped me select the cake without seeing it, but she also had the patience to describe every option for me to choose the best cake. I ordered a strawberry funnel cake ala mode and waited over 15mins and ended up walking out. I didn't receive my order and the staff was just standing around. The lady who ordered in front of me asked for a refund because she was waiting for an extended amount of time for a blizzard. When she asked for a refund the manager on shift was rude, and therefore i didn't ask for a refund for my order. I just left and will never return. Really havent had an amazing experience here ever. Once I ordered a misty freeze and when I got to the window to apply my promo code they realized it was rung up wrong. They had misty slush rang up... the lady who took my order then told the lady who was taking my card that I said it wrong and told her it was a misty slush. (Obviously didn't happen bc I was reading the coupon when I said what I wanted) but whatever, it got fixed once they told me I was the person that screwed it up and not the employee. Then my husband went to get us some treats (pretty close to their close time, wasn't aware when they closed) after going through the drive thru he realized they didn't give me a misty freeze, they gave me a misty slush ( oh the irony) he then went immediately back (with in 2 mins) and they had closed everything down. He knocked on the doors to try to get some help. Told someone that he received the wrong thing but they refused to help bc they had already turned off their machines. Horrible service. No ice. No straws. Cashier (Jessie H) was rude, couldn't smile to save her life, complained - in front of me when I asked for ice - since the machine was out. No one wore name tags, but the older lady wanted to question me instead of just giving us some ice. After reading the other reviews, I can say that the service has not improved in the past two years. I only ordered one Blizzard and it took over ten minutes while i could see and hear multiple employees standing around with not much work being done except preparing an order for another employee. When my order was finally delivered I told the cashier that it was unacceptable for the service to bee that slow and she argued with me over it without any apology for the delay. During the wait, another customer tried to use the men's room and came back to the counter to tell them that it was flooded. I will never step foot in this Dairy Queen again. read more
