My grandson got the swirl, which is a combination of chocolate and vanilla soft serve, and he said he gets it every time. I got the piña colada Italian ice with mini chocolate chips on top. Right away, I regretted getting the chocolate chips because they were falling off because of the amount they put on top. Then when I got to the end I realized they had put a bunch in the bottom so those basically went to waste. I'm not sure what everyone else ordered, but we all seemed to like what we got. I honestly cannot see myself going there very often because for the price they charge I can make me a bowl of ice cream at home with exactly what I want on it. It's not like they had any flavors that were new or unusual. They do have some mixes and blends with the ice cream and the Italian ice but the portions are large and I doubt I would ever eat that much at once! The place is small and I think they only had two tables inside and a couple of tables outside, and all were occupied. We had to end up eating our ice cream in the car because it was melting too fast when we were sitting on the curb. There really are not many options for something like this in Bastrop, so if that's what you are looking for, give Jeremiah's Italian ice a chance.
