We got the jumbo tenderloin sandwich which was a crispy breaded pork tenderloin topped with mayo, tomato, lettuce and onions. Our daughter had the shrimp basket. With a side of sweet potato fries. The fries were not greasy, they were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We each had a different flavored milkshake, all were delicious but I think the hot caramel was voted the favorite. They were setting up a large canopy to cover the picnic tables with shade. The Dairy Dip is definitely worth a stop and worth driving out of your way. read more

We have been to the Dairy Dip for years. Love the icecream and burgers, but the last two times we have ordered the first was about a month ago for lunch and tonight. The hamburger buns were tough, and chewey, like they were microwaved, or somthing, I ordered the gluten free bun this time, expecting a different texture, but the bottom bun was hard. read more

I have seen Dairy Dip for over 15 years but I am always just "passing by" and never really thought about stopping in. I then saw the show "Adventures with Roger" where he praised Dairy Dip's breaded pork tenderloin sandwich ( they also have a grilled tenderloin but I have not tried it). Being a big fan of breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches, I made sure the next time I was "just passing by" that I stopped in to try them out. Honestly, I think Roger was kind of light on the praise. Dairy Dip's pork tenderloin is incredible ! My wife has fallen in love with their BBQ sandwich and we no longer stop in Dairy Dip when we are " just passing by." Now, Dairy Dip is a destination outing. Tenderloin for me, BBQ for my wife, and pup cups for the dogs. And I would be remiss if I did not mention the size and price. I always get the small tenderloin sandwich where it is so big the tenderloin hangs well over the sides of their generously sized bun and the toppings, pickle, mayo, and lettuce, are piled high. I'm a big guy and the so called small size fills me up completely. I can't imagine how big the large tenderloin might be. And the price! The tenderloin and the BBQ sandwich both come in at about $10 total! Where else can you find that kind of value for that kind of food and serving size? My only regret is I have lost over 15 years of missing out on great food at fantastic prices. read more

I encountered a really rude women when I was here, her name was Denise and she said she was the "manager" I am utterly shocked they would ever have a manager who treats customers that way. I ate here twice for lunch while I was in town. I got cheeseburgers both times and they tasted different. Maybe different cooks on the grill? Sweet teas was also inconsistent. We stopped by here for the first time as we were passing through town. We were looking for a quick bite to eat for supper. As we pulled up we could see a sign on the door, advising that due to present circumstances they were only doing curbside orders. We could see the staff were all wearing masks. They looked busy and a waitress was running in and out of the building with orders. When she saw us pull up she stuck her head out the door, nodded in our direction and gave the "one minute" signal. A few seconds later another waitress came out and asked if we'd called in a pick up order. We told her we hadn't, that we were just passing by, and she asked if we needed a menu. She was very friendly and accommodating. We looked over the menu, which was pretty big for a small place--they offered hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, chicken tenders, pizza, fries and onion rings, ice cream and more. We ended up ordering a hamburger, fries, a grilled cheese with pickles, a hot ham and cheese and a Stromboli sandwich. We also ordered 3 milkshakes, as we noticed that just about every order they brought out included shakes and took that as a good sign. (We asked for small, but they only have one size, which is quite large). The waitress advised us that it would be about 15 minutes for the food. While we were waiting we watched cars pull up left and right and the 2 waitresses were almost running in and out the door without stopping. They had a good attitude and didn't ignore anyone, no matter how busy they were. Our food arrived about 15 minutes later as promised, hot and fresh. Everything was tasty and perfectly cooked. The shakes were definitely handmade and were delicious. Even though they were hopping, everything was put together and presented with care. They need to teach some of the fast food people in town how to operate! We determined we will come back to New Salisbury just to eat here as a treat, even though it's about 30-40 minutes away from us. What a great find! read more

Nice old time drive up, the staff are friendly and quick to take your order. We sat out on the picnic tables drinking huge sweet teas with crushed ice. Onion rings were sweet and crispy, french fries are equally delicious. Philly cheese steak was on a hoagie bun, with grilled green peppers, onions and melted white cheese making for a yummy sandwich. We live in a very small town so there's nothing that really delivers to us, until this past week they started delivering Wednesday- Sunday. It's a locally owned restaurant and I am so glad we did order and have them deliver today. The young man that delivered was very polite and the food was very fresh. Thank you for something that delivers even if it's just for summer. Friendly people are sharing picnic tables out front, eating burgers, pizza, and, of course, ice cream. The staff consists of 16 year old kids with great attitudes who call you ma'am. It was a 5 star before being sold. We stopped for a burger and pineapple twist cone and it was nothing like what the previous owners thrilled us with. First off the pineapple "sherbet" was some kind of tropical ice cream. It wasn't sherbet at all and definitely not pineapple. It was served to us in cups ... One cup of vanilla ice cream and one cup of the tropical crap instead of swirled in a cone. Total let down. Burger and mushrooms were still up to par but, the pizza is gone. My wife's grandparents live not too far from the dairy dip so i've passed by this place many a time not thinking much of it. one day we stopped....and so glad we did! i walked in thinking that it was going to be a normal frozen yogurt stop and found it to be.....a....a....wonderland. burgers, fries, pizza, chicken strips, jalapeno poppers....? if its fried or ice cold they probably have it! i had the dipped cone. next time i will get the cone without the dip and save myself the circus act of slurping up the melted ice cream while driving. haha read more

I've never had a bad experience here. Always good no matter what you order. The pizza is simple but amazing. The fried mushrooms are spectacular. Don't leave without a peanut butter milk shake or a " twist of the day"! My kids have grown up with this place and the place is now for sale.
