This place appears to be extremely popular, and why not? It's in a cute neighborhood, they play upbeat music outside, and they have a large selection of super-reasonably priced food and frozen treats. My daughter ordered the ice cream nachos, which was cute and could have easily been shared. I ordered the vanilla/orange sherbert swirl ice cream. I thought it was tasty, but two textures were going on at the same time in the same cone, so it was a little strange to get used to. The ice cream they sell isn't new or inventive, it's just super solid and well done, and at the end of the day, isn't that what you want in an ice cream stand?

Decent ice cream. The wait was slightly long, but that's expected as their ice cream is in high demand, it seems. They have a drive thru as well, and the lines of cars wrapped around the building. Plenty of parking spots though. Kids ordered the strawberry ice cream and it was nice and creamy. Chocolate shake was also good. Overall, good experience!

My absolute favorite ice cream spot in the city. Quick service and SUCH a wide variety of treats. They also have a drive through- so convenient!

This is a local spot that has been around for years. I'm sure this spot is so busy in evening or peak weekends. We had no wait to order, and they have dairy free options. I ordered the Elvis sundae almond milk version, and my mom ordered a peanut butter and chocolate shake. Service was very friendly. They also sell food options like burgers hot dogs and fries.

Crowded or not, it's never too early for ice cream!

Unfortunately Dairy Del is not what it used to be, even 2 or 3 years ago. It's still ok which is why it still has 3 stars, the prices have gone up, the quality isn't as good and they didn't even fill my milkshake all the way up. I'll give them another shot when I'm in the area and hope this experience was just a one time thing.

This place is always good and always reliable for a not so quick dose of nostalgia. We hit it at least once a season.

We had a couple cocktails in here and the service was excellent even though it appeared they were filled to capacity. There were 4 of us in our party and we were seated at a table in the corner near the bar. Was definitely a cozy spot with so many people being in there and the bar being full. I had The Holy Ghost cocktail and it was a pomegranate hibiscus sour, it had just the right amount of sour! I do not like bitter drinks and this one was good and easy to drink. My husband had a couple of dark beers, I do not remember which ones but he liked them. They had a nice outdoor area but it was a bit too cool for that but it may be worth a return in the Spring to check it out. Bathroom was also really cool as the decor and theme spilled over into it. We will be back.

The inside is like an industrial style bar & the murals & decor were interesting and quirky. I really loved their chicken katsu sandwich, very thick and tender. Nicely made!! I enjoyed their kale salad mixed with toppings. My partner order the burger and that was delicious, their patty is thin which I prefer for burgers & they had a spicy mayo and smoked ketchup which paired well with both entrees! definitely has a kick to it! I would love to eat here again & try other items on the menu, I definitely want to give the Cuban sandwich a try.

We were told to come back at 7:00 PM, so we did. When we returned, we were seated, but then told it would be another hour before our order could even be taken and our food brought out. That part was really frustrating--if we had known that upfront when we first put our name down, we could have planned differently. As for the food, it was decent. The burger itself was delicious and definitely the highlight. The fries were very oily but crispy--I personally liked them since I prefer well-done fries, but my daughter wasn't a fan. The layout of the place was also a bit confusing--it took a while to even find the restroom since it was tucked away in another area. Service-wise, I also had to ask for a refill--and only got one--which was disappointing, especially with such a big burger. Overall, spending close to three hours from arrival to finishing our meal just didn't feel worth it, especially with the lack of communication about wait times and limited service. Not a terrible spot food-wise, but the experience could definitely be improved.

The Toasty's sauce is good and ketchup and mustard also work. Just an amazing, delicious, incredible burger. We shared an order of fries with the magic dust. They were also really good, but I couldn't eat many because I was full from all that delicious burger. Very good fries. The service was good. I would definitely return if in the area. There are also picnic tables out front. You get a faint whiff of the grill/smoker upon entering. Kylie was our bartender and she was fabulous - knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all of our questions with patience. Wife ordered a mango margarita and doesn't like a lot of tequila, so Kylie went half and gave her a shot on the side in case she wanted to add more. It was wonderful. I had a couple of beers. We started with the fried mushrooms, which aren't what you would expect. It's two large portobellos cut into chunks, battered, fried, and served with sun-dried tomato mayo. They were great. I then ordered a duck taco, brisket taco, and a side of Grippo Fries with smoked mayo. I'd never tried duck but that taco was smack-a-lackin'. The brisket taco was also good, and the fries were fantastic - sweet and spicy, fresh cut, and crispy. Wife ordered a pork belly slider and truffle fries. She enjoyed the slider but didn't care for the fries - just not her thing. The portions here are large. A side of fries will feed three people. We took a hefty portion of them home, as well as some of the mushrooms. We could've sat there at the bar and spent 3 hours socializing and enjoying a smattering of cocktails - love the setting. Look forward to going back and trying one of the burgers at some point.

Flavor wise they did not change my life like I was hoping they would. Still ate them all. The locale is super unassuming from the street, but inside it is really cool, divey, and broody. The staff was super sweet and helped me get in and out efficiently so I could make it to the game. Would absolutely recommend, would absolutely come back, and would absolutely bring friends here.
