Walking over to Indiana, it's always a nice time. Now if you're hungry there's a lot of food options. But there are just some days, you need some ice cream. Do if you decide to walk from Big Four Bridge to widows walk, it is a bit of a track to be honest, but you have to walk off the ice cream right? This might be one of the best views of Louisville from Indiana. The old Victorian house is bright, yellow, and very inviting. There's a booth set up in the back where you can order your different ice cream treats. The menu is extremely extensive from scoops to sundaes to shakes and floats. Your are going to find some thing for every craving. I got the orange dreamsicle shake. It was creamy and delicious. Please do keep in mind, there's a bit of a wait but it is definitely worth it.

Cute place. Ice cream was good. The portions were large. They must have trouble with people behaving because I've never seen so many signs telling me not to do so many different things in such a small place. Pro tip..If yall plan to have an ice cream joint, directly across from a play ground, you're going to need to have some kid proof furniture and decor or you'll just drive yourself crazy.

My husband and I split the large Sweet Jo, which is Butter Pecan ice cream with butterscotch drizzled on top. It was delicious and the service was friendly. Great place to get ice cream and walk over to the park to enjoy it.

Our anniversary weekend my wife and I visited the Falls of Ohio for the first time for a long (and very hot) walk. As we made our way back to the car I spotted The Widow's Walk and said to wifey "Wifey! ICE CREAM!" She looked back at me and said "ICE CREAM!". So we handily found ourselves at The Widow's Walk, perusing the menu. This adorable old Victorian style house is brightly colored and surrounded by a white picket fence. It's set across the road from the river, so it affords a few of the river and the passers by. I was impressed with the way they managed to stay in business while COVID ravaged so many eateries. They had a number of tables set outside for viewing the menu and placing your order. When your order was ready they'd bring it out to you. The inside was closed, but there were plenty of tables available outside and there's nothing stopping you from walking across the street and eating your frozen deliciousness along the river. I had a scoop of coffee ice cream and it was amazeballs! Wifey had butter pecan (ewww. I've never understood this flavor), but I had to take her word for it when she said it was out-freakin'-standing. This is a great little place for a frozen pick-me-up when spending a day by the river walk. Or dessert on date night. Or just because you want to.

Love the location and the staff has always been friendly! The ice cream is delicious and there is a lactose free option as well. Highly recommend.

Sometimes you crave a late night sweet treat and yelp leads you to an incredibly amazing shop! My college roommate had lived in Louisville for several years and never been to the Widow's Walk. She was super impressed by the gorgeous view of the Louisville skyline. The ice cream was also super delicious. I had a scoop of cherry and a scoop of chocolate and it was the perfect ending to a day.

What a great place to kick off pre-summer! (but with this heat, it basically already is..) This place is so frickin' adorable. After a walk across the Big Four Bridge, we decided to trek all the way over here just to finally try this place out. And it was 100% worth it. Not only do they have ice cream, but they also have a coffee shop. And at the ice cream area, you can order food items too! The ice cream is cheap, fresh, and oh so good. Not to mention that it is right by Ashland Park, so you can take whatever you got over to the park and enjoy the beautiful view of the Louisville skyline. If you'd like to stay under some shade, they have all kinds of seating right by their building! To add even MORE to this places' awesomeness, they also offer bike rentals. Really pretty bikes with the baskets and everything, for $40 per adult. I love this place! I don't think I could ever walk by it and not get something!

Absolutely charming ice cream shop. Friendly staff, huge portions, reasonable prices.

Tucked away behind cute house on side of road across from the river. Grab a Velvet Icecream and enjoy the view. The banana split has a hand scooped dip of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Lots of fun combination of sundaes. Summer fun and you can rent bikes here too.

Tastes like supermarket ice cream. Nothing special about the sundays. Not worth the time, price, or calories

She was very friendly and was not hesitant to make jokes to keep the good vibes! The restaurant opens the side doors to let fresh air in on a sunny day which is amazing if you don't want to sweat in the sun but still want to feel a nice breeze. The sliders were amazing, the chicken was not dry which is common in bar food places. The concept of every bread being rolls gives the hot dog an extra security when picking it up. Really excited to go back when the days are warmer and can enjoy the patio section!

The sunny side egg on the burger was really juicy and the Hawaiian Rolls made for an excellent bun. Even with all of the toppings (lettuce, red onion, white cheddar cheese, bacon, fried green tomatoes, a sunny side up egg and miso ranch) the flavor of the burger still shined through and was delicious! We also got the Hot Fries. The burger was delicious but the hot fries were my favorite part!! They were hot, crispy, and had so much flavor! I love hot things and loved the heat - I can see where they could be considered pretty hot to some an the heat does build if you eat several in a row but again I love this flavor profile. We also got the slaw to help balance the heat of the fries if needed. We got the order to go for lunch. We were impressed by the to go packaging. The bag is really sturdy and really fun! It may sound silly but their take out packing is by far my favorite I have ever seen! We plan on coming back to try some of their other food in the future and look forward to dining in and trying one of their several beers. The atmosphere looks really fun and inviting and everyone was very friendly.

The sauce deserves to be bottled and sold everywhere--it's that good. The portions are spot-on for the price, and the quality across the board is unreal. The macaroni and cheese might be the best thing on the menu, with the beans right there behind it--but trying to rank anything feels pointless when everything hits at such a high level. What really sets it apart though is the consistency and care you can taste in every bite.
