We loved meeting all the calves and also getting to speak with one of the owners who was extremely generous with her time and spoke to me and my little one about the farm, their process with keeping their cows happy throughout all year in all temperatures and maintaining the farm. At the baked goods stands, we picked up a peanut butter filled powdered donut, a coconut donut, and a slice of bee hive cake. The peanut butter filled donut was better than the coconut filled donut. The coconut filled donut has a white fluffy filling that has a nondescript flavor. I believe it is the same filling used in the bee hive cake. The coconut donut was a drier texture as if it was old, which is hard to belief with the turnover I was seeing on the donut case.
