Got a monster sunday which comes with 2 toppings. asked to add on another for 1.18 and was told that I can't do that. Why can't I pay extra for another topping very disappointed because I love my peanut butter, marshmallow, and hot fudge combo. Very disappointed in my childhood ice cream place read more

Has happened multiple times, the first few times we let it go but after several times it's getting old. This is the only Bonkey's location that closes ridiculously earlier than advertised. Closing 30 minutes to an hour early and pitch black every time is unacceptable. Had enough time to DRIVE ALL THE WAY TO THE NEW FREEDOM location and order before they closed. What a joke !!!!! read more

I like going here when it's a hot day and I love it here service is very friendly The ice cream or snowcones are very good. and I just love it here read more

The lemon basil ice cream was really refreshing. The serving sizes are huge. The snowballs could have been a finer shaved ice so that it melts better but the syrups were flavorful. read more

Cute ice cream stand with yummy ice cream and snowballs. There just isn't much seating available and it is located next to a very busy road, making it stressful for families with young kids to make sure they don't decide to dart across the street. read more

We LOVE this place and have for over 12 years! They have delicious homemade ice cream, great employees and an incredible family who owns it. Support small business and local, you won't regret it! read more

Bonkey’s - A wild Maia catching a Pikipek! - Desserts Near Me - Stewartstown, Pennsylvania

When they first opened this year, the ice cream was good. Soon after they must of changed the temperature of the freezer and the ice cream was almost mushy. So disappointed. Will maybe try again and if ice cream is hard and not real soft, I will write a good review. read more

They made my choc mint ice cream fall over it also gives u big fat scoops of ice cream on the cone but thats a good thing

Excellent variety of ice cream and ways to have it. I especially like the sundaes and milkshakes. Great neighborhood creamery.

The ice cream is honestly very bland. We've been going for the last few years and unfortunately it's never gotten better. If you order an ice cream like cookies and cream or mind cookie, there like 2 tiny pieces in your whole cup. Super stingy on add ins, most are just vanilla ice cream with a crumble of a cookie in it. A little disappointing. read more

Bonkey’s - Keeping HOT PEOPLE COOL! - Desserts Near Me - Stewartstown, Pennsylvania

Summers Ice Cream (aka Bonkey's, as well) is the go-to spot. My husband and I love living in Stewartstown, and Summers is our favorite. They have high quality homemade ice cream with an endless list of flavors. Our favorites are black raspberry, coffee/java chip, cookies and cream, and strawberry. It's hard to resist going there every single night in the summertime! It's also a wonderful place to take dogs and socialize with friends. Right across from the railroad, too, which has nice benches and a picnic table for seats. Summers is full almost every night! read more

Great local spot! Service is quick and friendly. Ice cream and snowballs are good sized, homemade and delicious!

Summers is a great local place to enjoy many varieties of ice creams and snowballs..I take my nieces here each time the visit during the open season. read more

My family loves going to Summers. It's a great neighborhood ice cream and snowball shop.

Absolutely love this place. They give the kids a great place to work and hang out. Great selection of home made ice cream favors. Staff and management are very friendly. Love the penny candy... Reminds me of what I used to get in town at Norris's. The ice cream servings are very generous and not over priced. Parking not the best but there is nothing they can do about it. read more

I am not an ice cream person, but I am OBSESSED with this ice cream. I go there at least once a week.

What a great place to take the kids for a snow ball and ice cream. Always service with a smile. read more

Cool owners and even cooler ice cream. They have all the flavors you could imagine in delicious homemade ice cream and even more you'd never think of (bacon). Summer's is a Summertime must!!! read more

Good place to go for ice cream. Parking is a real pain though. Prices aren't bad either.

Best home-made ice cream you will ever have! Between all of the ice cream and snoballs favors, there is no place like it. Great service, great owners, great everything. Perfect for families and people of all ages! read more

This place is awesome! They have so many options from snow cones to ice cream to chocolate covered bananas! They must have 40 different ice cream flavors too! There is a small eating area outside to enjoy your dessert of choice. Get there early because parking is limited and they get busy! read more

Who doesn't LOVE Summers? From their snowballs to the house ice cream flavors, you can't go wrong. The staff is super friendly and patient. Unsure what to get? They'll let you try as many samples as you need. Great way to beat the summer heat. Luckily, I only live a few blocks away as parking is a major issue. The few spots they have are often filled with crowds of people talking and enjoying their sweet treats. Walking is recommended, if not be prepared to park at the nearby gas station and walk. It is well worth it though. read more

Best ice cream in the area. There are tons of flavors to choose from and the ice cream tastes amazing. They give good portions and there are many other options on the menu besides just ice cream. They can make any ice cream flavor into a milkshake and you can add toppings as well. This is a very popular place in town and the staff is always so friendly. read more

Whoo hooooo!!! Beach meets Stewartstown, PA! This place rocks! If you want ice cold treats of any kind and amazingly gut busting sized sundaes in a totally tubular rad surfer beach but atmosphere, this is the place! We have been coming to Summers for ten years and we love it! Congrats on the newest addition next to Fractured Prune - cant wait to try that one, too! read more

Summers does a good job of not putting too much flavoring in their snowballs. Some places put way too much and it ends up making me feel sick. They have good ice cream as well. Soft serve, hard, and ice cream bars. I believe there is a $5 minimum for card purchases. read more

I can only comment on their ice cream, but they have so many flavors. I've gotten something different each time, and have enjoyed everything I've tried. It's cash only but is reasonably priced compared to Baskin Robbins, and you get more ice cream as well. read more
