Beautiful little ice cream shop. First time having rolled ice cream and it was delicious. They have a bunch of flavors to choose from or you can create your own with any ingredient you can think of.

The place is clean, has good space and a quiet. The ice cream is good and the people are friendly ! Will definitely come here again with my daughter !

Went in on a whim for Boba tea and rolled ice cream. It's a big place, in a pretty dead shopping plaza. I was a little distressed that we were the only people there. We each ordered a tea and a rolled ice cream. There was one woman working behind the counter. First she made my tea and gave it to me. Then my husband's tea and gave it to him Then my ice cream. Then his. It took forever Everything was good... it just took a really long time.

It's great that there's a rolled ice cream place in York! Plus they have bubble tea. I haven't tried their bubble tea yet. The rolled ice creams were pretty pricey and were just okay. It was pretty messy, melting all over the place when I got it. I went in the summer time and it was pretty hot inside. The plaza where this store is located is a bit dead. But I like the variety of flavors offered and that there's an Asian business like this in town. I'd come back to try their bubble tea and some more ice creams if I'm around the area again.

Cool little spot me and my daughter fumbled upon while running an errand in York. Super cute little place tucked away in a strip mall. We were quickly and friendly greeted upon entering. It was our first time and my daughter was kind of confused on what and how to order but the nice lady at the front counter helped her out. I love the variety and flavors of their rolled ice cream. Very unique spin that I haven't seen before. I Will definitely be back to try more flavors and their drinks as well!

This is my first time at I Love Ice-cream. I recently moved to East York and this seems to be the only bubble tea shop in the area. The prices were more expensive than what was listed on the menu photos here on Yelp, so I attached the updated menu to this review. I ordered the strawberry milk tea with tapioca pearls, with tax it came to be about $5.80. I was pleased with my drink.

Been driving by this place for a few months now. The wife decided she wanted ice cream. We were debating between the old standbys of Jim Mack's and sweet willows and we thought why not give the new guys a try. The ice cream is made fresh right in front of you. Very friendly staff assuring you that they only use the freshest ingredients and they strive to make the finished product look exactly like you see on the picture menu board. I got the #7 Berries and it was excellent. The wife got the #30 Coconut and she said it was delicious as well which I believe since she finished it at in a hurry which is unusual for her. Normally there is a half eaten cup of ice cream in the freezer for a few days. If your in the mood for ice cream I suggest you give them a shot I'm sure you will like it

My son and I stopped by on a Friday evening. We loved our ice cream and enjoyed watching our sundaes be made. This is not and in and out place so if you're looking for a quick stop, this isn't for you. They take their take to perfect your ice cream. There were other options on the menu which I am looking forward to try: hot pot and bubble tea. When we were there it looked like the owner and an employee were trying two new flavors of pumpkin pie and also apple pie. A different kind of ice cream experience and worth your time!

Unique concept - I like to try new things and this did not disappoint! I will return to try more flavors. There are 30 to choose from - it was a difficult choice to select one. Next time I want to try a rolled ice cream taco - there are 3 flavors of waffle cone shells.

Homegoodies is serving up great coffee and the sandwiches looked AMAZING (next time). The staff was ON IT! It was packed in here and it still only took about 5-10 minutes to get our drinks. We got the Boo Berry (Blueberry Vanilla Latte) and the frozen Hot Chocolate (made with marshmallow and chocolate syrup siding). Both delicious! This place is deceptive. Looks small, but tons of additional seating in the back. Word on the street is they are putting hashbrowns on their breakfast sandwich, we will review that next time! There was a wall filled with different coffee/tea/chai selections. There was also 2 boards at the register with specials. I choice zombie latte and lil fella burger and fries. The meal was excellent. Just enough. Food came out hot, fresh, and both the burger and fries were seasoned to perfection. The drink was delicious. Definitely want to try there again. Note: public clean restrooms.

Well visiting and in York, PA, I stopped this past Thursday July 3, 2025, to physically say I checked out the shoe house. The shoe house was build by Mr. Haines back in 1948, to promote the launch of selling his shoes. From other fellow Yelpers, they stop tours 3 years ago. Now the property is an Airbnb, who wouldn't love to say hey let's rent the shoe house. My advice, if your checking out an area, you never been do some research, as too notable sites in the surrounding areas of your location. Fun photo opportunity, though my picture taken by kids by a little blurry in the sunset, still perfect view of the house from the street.

Living in Central PA my whole life, I'd passed the infamous Haines Shoe House on Rt. 30 more times…read morethan I can count--but I never stopped to check it out...until today. On a warm September Sunday morning, it made the perfect low-impact first adventure of the day. A little research ahead of time is key: the Shoe House is no longer open for tours. It's now an Airbnb rental (going for $300-$800+ per night), but the property owner does allow visitors to stop and admire it from outside the gated fence. You can't get super close, but close enough that your phone's zoom works just fine for photos. Parking is inside the gate for renters only, but we lucked out as the only visitors and were able to pull off to the side of the road by the driveway for a quick peek. So--was it the most thrilling thing I've ever seen? No. But it is a house shaped like a shoe--48 feet long, 25 feet high, 17 feet wide--and that alone makes it worth the bragging rights of, "Hey, I saw a giant shoe house today!" Plan for no more than 10 minutes here, since you can't go inside, but it's a fun roadside oddity and a nice addition to a sunny fall adventure. Just be respectful of the owner's request to stay outside the fence--no need to ruin this for anyone else. The Haines Shoe House even has a Historical Marker from the Pennsylvania Museum Commission, recognizing both its quirky place in local history and its unique "Programmatic Architecture." Cool, weird, quick, and very Central PA. Definitely worth a pit stop.

I'd driven past it countless times over the last few years but either didn't have enough time to stop or couldn't convince anyone else to stop with me. During my Lancaster Adventure Day, though, all of that changed. I purchased a Single Scoop ticket online ahead of time for $16.75 and reserved the very first time slot of the day at 10am. I figured a late-summer Thursday morning would be the sweet spot, and it turned out to be a great decision. It was busy enough that the place felt lively but not so crowded that I had to wait for every exhibit. Parking was plentiful, and I somehow managed to snag a spot right in front of the GIANT cow out front. Honestly, my day was already off to a fantastic start! The only hiccup of the visit came during check-in. Even though I'd already purchased my ticket online, I still had to wait in the same line as everyone buying gift shop items, purchasing admission and asking questions. Since there were only a two employees working both the registers and admissions, the line moved a little slower than I expected. If I could change one thing, it would be creating a separate express check-in line for folks who already have tickets. Once I finally made it inside, though, everything became easy peasy! The exhibits are completely self-guided, so you can wander at your own pace learning how Turkey Hill makes its ice cream and iced tea while playing with interactive displays along the way. One of my favorite parts was creating my own virtual ice cream flavor, complete with custom packaging. I also wanted to film my own Turkey Hill commercial, but those stations stayed busy the entire time I was there, so that'll have to wait until another visit. Naturally, I made a beeline for the tea sampling station. As someone who appreciates sugar-free options, I was thrilled to find both Zero Sugar Sweet Tea and Zero Sugar Fruit Punch available to sample. Both were fantastic! Then it was time for the part we'd all been waiting for...unlimited ice cream samples. One thing I really appreciated is that they weren't tiny little "blink and it's gone" samples. You picked two flavors, and they served actual scoops in a bowl. For an attraction centered around ice cream, that felt exactly right. My only tiny complaint? Wooden popsicle sticks instead of spoons. They definitely got the job done, but they made eating melting ice cream a little more awkward than it needed to be. Still...free and unlimited ice cream? I'm not about to complain too loudly! I spent about an hour wandering through the exhibits, playing with the interactive displays and enjoying the air conditioning on a hot August morning before making one final stop in the gift shop. Prices there were about what you'd expect for a tourist attraction, but there were plenty of fun souvenirs if you're looking to bring a little Turkey Hill home with you. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend visiting the Turkey Hill Experience at least once. I don't know that it's somewhere I'd return over and over again, but it was a fun, interactive way to spend an hour learning something new, eating entirely acceptable quantities of free ice cream and escaping the August heat. That sounds like a pretty successful adventure day to me!
