Overall, best dealership experience I've ever had and I have had a lot. Initially talked with Jeff (owner) when I was shopping for a new bike. He was extremely helpful and absolutely zero pressure. He really just seemed interested in helping me and indifferent to selling me on anything. About a month later I had made my decision, walked in, and said I'll take it on a new matte green streetfighter v2. Jeff handed me over to Marty who drew up paperwork with no bs and no surprises. Was my birthday mid week and I asked if they could deliver it to me then; no problem. Bike showed up perfect in a nice red ducati truck. Props to Roy also for being super easy to work with and communicative. Fast forward to my first service. I called to get it scheduled and they said they were booked out a few weeks, but having bought the bike there they would squeeze me in anyway that saturday. I was expecting to be waiting around, but nope they took the bike right in when I got there and got to work. Though they were clearly very busy, everyone worked smooth and efficient and that seemed to be why they were able to service the bike so quick. They have a window from the nice waiting area / bike museum so you can see them work.. no corners cut. Also they were all very communicative and it felt the most personalized bike service I've ever had. Yes, it was almost $600 (standard for these bikes), but the first time I've ever felt I was getting $600 of service. Great job guys! Shout out for Lily also. I hadn't dealt with her at the shop, but see her regularly at a local meet and ride with her. Very knowledgable and helpful about the bike and parts as well as a great rider and general nice person.

When I inquired with Ducati Corporate if I could use the credit to purchase nonmechanical Ducati items, they informed me that three retailers in the US accept the certificate. I contacted AMS in Dallas to ask about a helmet I wanted to purchase. Lily, the CS rep told me that they do indeed accept the certificates and guided me through the process. What I found exceptional about Lily is her online and phone demeanor. In this age of less face to face interactions, a phone call rather than a text or chat is so appreciated. Her voice and professionalism are something that stood out to me. In my former life, I trained Playstation CS staff on the technical aspects of the products. So I'm well aware of CS service standards. Neither AMS nor Lily knew that I write for Web Bike World, so her level of service was standard practice for her. Bravo to AMS for how they train their staff. And the same goes for Ducati. A crummy luck of my draw turned into an exceptional experience. https://www.webbikeworld.com/what-happened-when-something-happened-ducati/

Hubby was looking for the casual "after the ride" boots and wanted to try a pair on, so we found ourselves at the Dragon Street Lucchese store. This store has the WORST customer service... and will win a coveted spot on my List of Shame collection. We walked in, and was never acknowledged by anyone. Both sides of the store were chaotic and littered with boot boxes. Two couples of what appears to be hautey tautey Dallas "elites" with private chauffeurs were spread out in both areas that it was difficult to even look at the boots. Of course, all of the staff were "serving" these folks and brining them wine and beer that they never acknowledged the other customers. We overheard conversations from these "elites" that they never wore boots before and were trying almost every pair in the store. Meanwhile, we may not have had a private chauffeur, but we were there to actually buy a pair of boots.... a pair that we actually know what we want. A pro tip from this Yelp "Elite" ... take care of all of your customers and quit placating to whom you think are "rich." Discrimination is discrimination. It is worth the drive to go to the Frisco Lucchese store for their customer service.

The shoes sales staff were very friendly and helpful. The register staff have been very quick. Ali helped me with processing my 2 hiking shoe trade-ins. Today, five years later, we just walked right in with no line and no assigned groups. My impression in 2025 was much better. The store was not too crowded so we were able to leisurely browse and really take in everything in the store. The selection is outstanding. if they don't have something related to camping or outdoor life, it does not exist. This trip the wife was looking for some shoes while the kid and I looked at everything else. She enjoyed checking out the tents and sleeping bags. She rode on one of the bikes. It was like a play day. I liked that there were employees to help and answer questions. Noah in the bike section was great. Employees were very friendly. The quality of the products they sell is excellent. Prices are high but you get value and what you buy is going to last a while. We ended up not buying anything, but we enjoyed the store nonetheless.
