This place has a great location in soho. The bacon cheeseburger bowl is my go to almost always. I sub the rice for quinoa. It's so delicious!! There's 2 sizes of bowls - the smaller is enough with a side and the larger I almost always have leftovers. The crazy tots appetizer is a treat every now and then, if you've never had it! First time returning here in a while and it's as good as I remember it! Our waiter was very informative about the menu and recommended his favorites - one being Shredder Bowls. As a person who's not a fan of breakfast 24/7 (we were seated at 12:30), I went with the New York Bleu Shredder Bowl sans the cajun horseraddish dressing. I wish I remembered what he replaced the original dressing with​ because whatever it was, it paired so well with the entree. Do yourself a favor and get yourself the large size because it will fill you up enough for two meals and, hey, I don't ever complain about leftovers. As I kept taking bites, I kept raving about the taste to my friends and they probably got so annoyed, but I could not have cared less. After having a horrible experience with overcooked benedicts the day before, my group was so happy to see the yellow runny yolk poured out when they ordered benedicts at Daily Eats. First time here. Came in around 11am. Very busy but we only had to wait about 10 minutes until we were seated. Our server was quick and to the point which we appreciated. Offered his recommendations, and grabbed our coffee. Food came out pretty quick, and the burrito burro was AMAZING. My spouse got the steak and egg bowl which was a bit underwhelming, the steak was like the frozen philly steak you get at the store. Fabulous breakfast and brunch-focused diner! Despite being insanely busy in the weekends, they still always manage to accommodate me and my two hounds within a reasonable amount of time. I've loved everything I've had so far, but my current favorite is the Breakfast Fiesta bowl. It's everything wonderful about a savory breakfast in one bowl--sliced fried potatoes, cheesy sauce, turkey sausage, black beans, eggs, and pickled jalapeños, topped with a smashed avocado. I mean, what more do you want? On the sweeter side, check out the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes (light as a feather!) and the French Toast. The service is always fabulous, the food arrives quickly, the prices are reasonable, and it's located in beautiful SoHo. If you are ever in the heart of South Tampa, you have probably been to MacDintons to party, grabbed Tacos at Taco Dirty or Green Lemon, try Mediterranean food at Zoey's kitchen, so healthy bowls from Ciccio's and Water. But what if I told you there's a restaurant that has a little bit of all the types of food I mentioned, and has good value in the menu? We stopped by after getting coffee at Caffeine Roaster to grabbed food, instead of going to our usual spots at Fresh Kitchen, we decided to give this place a try. Our server Cameron was very efficient, knowledgeable with the menu. He explained the menu that fits different kind of diet, did a run down on the happy hour special, and provided his favorite items on the menu. I found the menu to be simple, yet filled with many variety of food! The best way to describe it is Cracker Barrel on steroids, but with many power bowls and sandwiches. You can't go wrong with breakfast food all day, but I decided to try their DE Smash Angus burger as it was 6 dollars today instead of 9.5. The burger was very juicy, I opted for the bun-less option to cut down on carb count, however, the burger patties were rather small. I came with the special DE (daily eat) sauce, and the choice of eat was fresh fruit for me. I ate the whole thing, and was a little hungry still. There was desserts with milkshake and cookies, also had mimosa on special during happy hour. The manager Alyssa came by and checked on us, she was very sweet and listened to our feedback for our experience. Overall, service was wonderful. There's option to see at the bar where you can see the chef preparing the meal with open kitchen concept, or you can sit outside to people watch the south tampaian walking or running by the busy street of Howard. If you are coming to Daily Eats, parking can be tricky as there are 15-20 spots in the parking lot shared with Green Lemon, but there is a garage across the street that requires 2-5 minutes of walking. After you are done eating, there's Blind Tiger across the street for great coffee, or walk 2 blocks down to Sweet Soul to get some Açaí bowl. I've heard they got great pancake, it will be the item to try out next time! read more

I've been to Daily Eats probably 50+ times and I cannot believe that I have yet to write a review for this place! Daily Eats is thebombdotcom, once you figure out what you like. One time I ordered an omelet and knew I would never do that again. But ANYTHING with avocado and you'll be fine. Their mimosas are also so good; the mango flavor is my favorite. Also, mimosas are $2 after 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. My go-to favorites are (in no particular order): ~ Cap'n Crunch French Toast - you can even order this by the slice (one or two is PLENTY of food) ~ Tater Hater - perfect hangover cure for one or for the table. Delicious, and not nutritious, just like I like my appetizers. ~ Fresh fruit as any side - their fruit is SO FRESH - no explanation necessary. ~ Monday Morning Bowl (scrambled egg whites, turkey sausage with American cheese served atop a bed of spinach). ~ The BLTE (A) - their menu includes a BLTA (A = Avocado), but I switch this up and add a fried egg and cheese, a request that they always so easily accommodate. ~ The Greek Bowl is a great lunch option - and it smells SO good! There are plenty of other menu choices and they are all pretty good so don't restrict yourself to the above items. Lastly, I love Daily Eats for their friendly, welcoming staff. Their servers clearly work as a determined team. While sitting at the counter, you can observe tons of interactions and this kitchen operates truly like a fast-paced lunch counter. I love it and will always return - regardless of the hoity toity clientele they tend to attract. This is a Ciccio Group restaurant that I hope survives forever and ever. read more

As you can see by many photos, I have been to Daily eats more than one time. It is by far the greatest restaurant I have ever been to and I am definitely a regular customer. They have a variety of sandwiches and different bowls to choose from. They also serve breakfast all day and have happy hour deals from 2 PM to 7 PM. One of the deals includes two dollars for a Mamosa with seven different flavors to choose from. It is so inexpensive, quick service and so delicious I wish I could eat every meal there. For breakfast, my favorite options are the Dan (breakfast sandwich), the Greek Omelette with oatmeal and the French Toast and Eggs breakfast bowl. For lunch, I can't seem to get away from the Waldorf shredder bowl with chicken, spinach instead of shredded lettuce, no blue cheese and my dressings on the side. Is SOOOOOO yummy! Came here for the second time. This time for lunch. This restaurant is extremely popular and be prepared to wait. There will be a line, but it's definitely worth the wait! It's a casual cool little place! We were a party of 4 on a Saturday afternoon and we waited only about 10-15 minutes. The place is small and quaint and has a creative menu to choose from! It has very Diner like feel to it. The prices are reasonable and the staff are all pleasant. If you love breakfast they serve it all day here. One of my faves! I have been going to daily eats for the past four years since I moved to Tampa and it is definitely in my top 3 favorites. It's a cute, trendy but small diner. Their menu is very diverse from healthy bowls to intense and super greasy burgers and it's ALL AMAZING! They also have $2 mimosas DAILY from 2pm-7pm and they have plenty of cool different flavored options. The service is always great as well. My only negative is that they got rid of the pesto chicken Mac and cheese but luckily I now have replaced it with the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese and it is just as good. If you get the chance to go definitely recommend getting a table outside. read more

I meant to write this review months ago. And I had been so impressed with the new GM they had on (a female) and also a male worker who was alongside her as they helped guide the kitchen and get food out on an extremely busy morning. I lost that paper, but I hope this finds credit where it's due. Staff got us sat as quickly as possible despite the busy morning. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. They kept the coffee full and checked in at appropriate intervals. Not too much but definitely not too late. This is also a major kudos to the line cooks. This unit had this place functioning at the most organized chaos. And sitting at the bar gave a front seat to this, and it ended up being enjoyable to watch this play out. I went to this restaurant on Sunday morning with my friends for the brunch. We chose this restaurant cause the great review on yelp. Food is great, service is TERRIBLE. Our server is Alyssa( as it shown on the receipt).Ever since we sit on the spot,her attitude was like "we owe her a million dollars,." Plus, the bill is different, I asked for substitution for one item on parfait, but on the bill the item got extra charge and item supposed to be the the parfait was not there as well. I'm not aware of the charge or any change on my bill until I get the bill. If that's her attitude fo all her customers, I would take it, everyone may have a bad day, that's understandable. BUT, she treated the other table completely different way than us. Hmm, interesting. I was too angry that I couldn't enjoy the food, so I paid the bill and left.I talked to their manger after this.hope this server can understand her problem. read more
