My bike picked up 4 weeks after ETA
    Brandon M.

My bike didn't even get picked up from Chicago until 4 weeks after HaulBikes told me I would receive it in California!! Worse yet, when calling to check on the status, I had to hear them lie repeatedly to their clients about their "on-time" delivery. If it was up to HaulBikes, I wouldn't have received my bike for another week!! Instead I asked for a refund, and told them I'd fly to Vegas and pick it up from their terminal there and ride it back home, they offered me a measly refund of $125!! My plane ticket cost me more than $125!! These guys are jokes, I wouldn't recommend hiring them to transport your worst enemy, surely not your precious new motorcycle.

Damaged my bike, on a very simple delivery. I dropped bike off to their Vegas warehouse, for transport to Los Angeles. Bike arrived in LA, with broken brake lever & scraped bar-end (right side). Looks like they slammed it into a brick-wall, while pushing it around. Of course they, hoped I wouldn't notice. Mostly disappointed that they covered it up, which means they don't care to learn from their mistakes. Clearly they have careless people moving bikes around and should manage & train them better. Dispatch Manager & Driver, were very responsive & sympathetic, but Customer Service denied any reimbursement. Turns out they have Full-Liberty to impart $500 of damage to your bike. For what they charge and the expertise they claim, I'm extremely disappointed. Ride your bike or trailer it yourself, before you trust this reckless group. Also, not the fastest, as it took 14 days to get the bike from their Vegas Warehouse to Los Angeles. Your bike's in danger every day it sits in their possession.

    Innocent or Guilty? Hmmm...

Most auto transport companies simply function as brokers which is great until something goes wrong and then you are left to deal with the problem on your own - NOT with Guardian Auto Transport! Not only is their customer service excellent but I especially want to acknowledge Andrea who always goes the extra mile to stay in touch with updates all the way until our vehicle is received. A few years ago we had a bad experience with a transport company brokered by Guardian that damaged our car in transit. We received it on a weekend so I assumed that I would have to wait until Monday to hear back from Guardian Auto Transport customer service but to my surprise I not only had follow up calls on Saturday from Andrea but also got a response from a supervisor on Sunday as well. The transport company didn't want to take responsibility for damage done but we had a video prior to our car being unloaded showing the damage & Guardian Auto Transport really went to bat on our behalf & the transporter had to pay for the damage they caused by loading our car improperly. We just had our car shipped from Los Angele to Seattle & it arrived in pristine condition & the driver was a great communicator as well. I thank all who were involved with getting our vehicle to us safely & in a timely manner. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for & Guardian Auto Transport & their fabulous employees really deliver!!

The company failed to arrive to ship our vehicle as scheduled, which caused significant stress, inconvenience, and unnecessary disruption for our family. Every step of the process seemed to involve another mistake, another excuse, or another broken promise. We spent countless hours trying to get answers and received little accountability in return. What should have been a straightforward transport turned into a complete headache filled with anxiety and disappointment. Reliability and communication are critical when trusting a company with your vehicle, and unfortunately this company failed badly in both areas. Very disappointed with the overall experience and would not recommend using this company.

Based on the reviews, we choose Long distance Movers. My parents lived on the 3rd floor of our family building and held years worth of items including a book and album collection as well as some antique furniture items. I worked with the sales team all the way up until the day of the move and made adjustments based on time and necessity. The move time was pushed back several times, which I remained flexible on. The driver (Mike) called me to let me know they were running late, I said no problem. I could tell in that conversation, (Mike) did not sound pleasant at all. When Mike and Alex arrived, it was confirmed, he was not interested in the job at all. The other mover (Alex) was friendlier. I began to show them the items that needed to be packed and I showed them around the property. Mike said we had more than what was listed on the quote. I advised the quote had be revised several times and we decided to not take some of the larger pieces. There was (1) item located on the first floor (that I sent pictures of) and some items in the basement. After showing both movers what needed to be done, I asked if they would rather park their truck in the alley. They agreed and said they would pull around back. THEY NEVER CAME BACK!!! I called Mike several times and did not get an answer...then the calls went to voicemail. I then attempted to call my sales person Matthew and realized the phone number listed does not allow you to enter an extension number. I then tried the representative who called me to confirm the move. I had to leave VM with both and wait for a call back. They were very surprised and apologetic but could not tell me why the drivers left with no notice. I was eventually told they could not "Accommodate" our needs! I completely understand how overwhelming that task may have appeared to someone walking into a large apartment, that wasn't the most organized or tidy, but isn't that what that $4,000+ quote was paying for. What if we had to be out of the property within days? To leave the job and make me wait for 30 minutes in the alley is completely unprofessional. Moving in general is extremely stressful, now imagine being a couple of senior citizens, one of which is a disable veteran battling cancer and being told their movers left without notice!

First they have representatives that will not only quote your move but also check in and stay as your point of contact throughout the entire process. My rep was excellent in following up and responding to all of my questions and requests. He went out of his way to make my requested dates and times work, and that in itself already makes the costs come close to being worth it. But the movers themselves make it a no-brainer. They were courteous, polite, and professional. They also took a lot of time and care into helping prepare my items to go into storage and take the trip across a couple states. I thought I did well packing but they really improved on my work, rearranging and wrapping items that seemed loose or wobbly. I felt everything was super safe and taken care of when they were done. Good people throughout the company and good practices made my move super easy and convenient and the personal interactions make it completely worth the cost. Highly recommended for moving longer distances.

So as a surprise, my brother and I wanted to get him some newer furniture, a new set of dishes, and some giant candle holders to display around his pool. I shopped for everything in Chicago, got it organized and then I wanted a mover to ship it all together instead of each company shipping it separately. Plus, the leather couch that my brother & I got for him was from a furniture company that didn't offer out of state shipping. So I had no choice with that one. When I called Chicago cross country, I spoke with Joseph who was very down to earth. Over the phone I listed the furniture and everything else I was shipping. I told him that I wanted to time it out as a surprise if possible and he said he could definitely do that. I then called two other companies to compare on when they could start, estimation on when things would be delivered, and of course the price. Cross country outmatched the others, so I booked them. Two days later I met the movers, Patrick was one name I remember and the other guy, I don't recall his name. But it was two movers and they both were very nice & worked fast! I wasn't sure how to pack the pool-side lanterns I bought, so I had the movers pack them, along with everything else. Bikes, TVs, computers were all fine and well insulated. Be aware that it might actually take the full 21 days to get to you. Day 5, our stuff made it to CA from Chicago, but took an additional 15 days to make it up to Seattle from CA so your mileage may vary. We had planned on 14-15 days (two weeks) and so ended up having to buy a bunch of new stuff to be comfortable while waiting the additional two weeks. The problem lies with whomever they contracted out to do the final leg of the delivery. We had 30-40 boxes and they all appeared to at least have been tracked in some way into some sort of storage. However the team that delivered did not actually track each box when they pulled it out of storage. Additionally they filled in "delivered" sections on their own without me fully seeing and filling out that portion myself. I will probably not end up suing this service again in the future as waiting 2 weeks and then having random boxes go missing for the price paid is pretty unacceptable. Insurance covers some of it but it's still annoying playing the "what random stuff will I have to replace" game =(
