Posting before even receiving the bike. Its been just under a month and no bike. Started great, they picked up the bike fast. Received one email after bike was picked up and advised it was in a warehouse a few hours away. 3 weeks and a couple unresponded to emails later i call and am told its still sitting in the same spot with no scheduled delivery - it may go out in a week, may not, and if im one of the lucky ones ill get under 24 hours notice to schedule to accept delivery otherwise itll be a later delivery but i get a few days notice. Use this service if you dont actually want your bike for a few months and require little notice to schedule availability. Hopefully they at least didnt smash it for as long as its sitting unattended. Will update to advise of drop off, if and when that happens, and condition. read more

Filled out application to have bike delivered in May. They picked up bike second week in May and brought bike to an warehouse in Florida where it sits till the second week in June. I bought a motorcycle from a dealership on 7/26/24. This bike is/will be a primary means of transportation. I hired Haul Bikes (HB) & signed their agreement on 8/2, to ship my bike from Fort Collins CO, to Phx, AZ. # P272639 for $532. Haul Bikes website claims their service as 'Direct Haul', 'Saves Time', 'Removes the Hassle' and 'Makes it easy' to get my bike from another state to me after purchase. Those statements couldn't be more opposite of the service and experience I received working them. The process is not direct, not easy, and not hassle free. After taking my $ and having me sign a contract to cover themselves, they promptly ignored me and took their time doing their job. W/ No communication. Their website mentions 'The Pickup' and 'The Delivery' being a seamless process that's short & doesn't involve much. That's FALSE! Haul Bikes doesn't direct ship. They pick up motorcycles, drive them around with other bikes , and when convenient, take it to a shipping hub where the bikes sit, until HB decides to pick up, and deliver the bike to their victims. My bike was picked up from the dealership on 8/16 (2 weeks after signing) and wasn't scheduled for delivery (to their warehouse) until I reached out about it. On 8/16, I emailed HB to inquire about delivery. I was informed they would ship the bike to their warehouse then delivery to me would take place 'before or around 9/2.' The bike was acquired by HB at the dealership on 8/16 and shuttled around on a semi for 2.5 weeks until 9/2, where it was parked at their warehouse. On 9/3, the bike was still undelivered. I called to get info and was told it had just arrived at their Las Vegas warehouse and it hasn't been scheduled for delivery to me. 45 days after purchase, payment is due & I've been told it's just sitting with no date scheduled for delivery. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE and TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I spoke with, Andie via email (8/16), and Ruth (9/3) on the phone. I requested Kelly Johnson to call me back. Had some surprising news from Haulbikes about my lost bike, the initial email I received a few days ago said my bike is on its way to their Las Vegas facility and from there will be delivered to me. I was quite excited about the prospect of getting my bike back. A few days later I got a call from their office about the insurance settlement, they totaled the bike and are paying the full value of the bike and refunding the shipping cost. I asked about the condition of the bike or a picture of it but they didn't provide any other information other than the bike was on its way to me. So it looks like Haulbikes is attempting to make a fair settlement for the loss. Although it was a frustrating process I'm happy with how Haulbikes resolved this unfortunate incident. read more

This company is awesome! I needed to order a quad from another state, and I did not like the shipping companies I was talking to. Zia Powersports said they deal with Haul Bikes. So, I called Haul Bikes, and I had a great conversation with them, probably because hauling ATVs and motorcycles is all they do. They charge by the size of the bike, not by the mile, which was nice also. They are also very honest with their delivery times. Even the driver who delivered it was a great guy! read more

I've been waiting almost eight weeks now for my bike and they've managed to move it 400 miles (from Reno to Las Vegas) out of 1,600miles. and now it has been sitting for over three weeks in their Vegas warehouse (safe and secure as they claim) without even a plan of sending it on its way to me... These guys are useless. Bought a bike from Mecum at their John Pharnam auctions and they most be in it with Mecum. Why would Mecum recommend such a useless company if they were not getting a kick back. They were 50% percent more expensive then the other quotes I got. But Mecum only gave me 72 hours to have the bike picked up and they were the only ones that could do it. But I was told by Haul bikes it would be delivered by the October 10th, 3 weeks from Iowa to California. It's the 17th of October and still no bike. I expect there will be more problems and I bet I will need to dispute the charges with my credit card. Avoid this losers and shop around for other shippers. They have had my bike in Vegas for 14 days doing nothing! Also it was the same distance from iowa to Las Vegas as it was to Sacramento so why take it to Vegas. So they can add more bikes to ship up north and save them money on fuel then providing a reliable delivery. $900 dollars is a rip off but I was put under the gun by Mecum to get the bike picked! Delivery took some time but my bike got here in the same condition as purchased. The delivery driver was communicative on the day of and prior to delivery. The price wasn't bad but for the amount of time it took to get here, I think it could have been slightly cheaper. If you're in a rush to receive your bike, this isn't the service for you. read more

Amateur Hour -- It all seems like a good service until you give them the money and then the problems begin.- Just the latest problem with them - I live 13 miles from their Headquarters in Milwaukee. Shipping a bike from Arizona and the latest problem was trying to get any kind of status 2 weeks after the bike was supposed to be delivered. After several days of calling I am finally told the bike has been at their HQ warehouse for 2 weeks!! They basically had to drive within a couple of miles of my location to get to theirs! Avoid if at all possible! This would probably be a great company if they communicated with its customers, treated them like "Customers" and actually did what they said they'd do! Instead, they don't return calls or emails, when you get someone on the phone, they treat you like a nuisance and act as if you're intruding on their day, they don't live up to the estimates they give, NOT EVEN CLOSE! My bike didn't even get picked up from Chicago until 4 weeks after HaulBikes told me I would receive it in California!! Worse yet, when calling to check on the status, I had to hear them lie repeatedly to their clients about their "on-time" delivery. If it was up to HaulBikes, I wouldn't have received my bike for another week!! Instead I asked for a refund, and told them I'd fly to Vegas and pick it up from their terminal there and ride it back home, they offered me a measly refund of $125!! Damaged my bike, on a very simple delivery. I dropped bike off to their Vegas warehouse, for transport to Los Angeles. Bike arrived in LA, with broken brake lever & scraped bar-end (right side). Looks like they slammed it into a brick-wall, while pushing it around. Of course they, hoped I wouldn't notice. Mostly disappointed that they covered it up, which means they don't care to learn from their mistakes. Clearly they have careless people moving bikes around and should manage & train them better. Dispatch Manager & Driver, were very responsive & sympathetic, but Customer Service denied any reimbursement. Turns out they have Full-Liberty to impart $500 of damage to your bike. For what they charge and the expertise they claim, I'm extremely disappointed. Ride your bike or trailer it yourself, before you trust this reckless group. I'd give this a 0 star if that was an option. First off, they'll give you a 11 day window for picking the bike up, then they give you a 14 day window for delivery. They tell you they'll give you a call the day before to confirm location and time, but they don't actually mean it. They also say the truck driver will call the morning of to re-confirm and give a more narrow time window, but they don't mean that either. When you call them to get an update, because lets face it, they won't give an update unless you call them first. They'll tell you one thing, then when that day has past and you call back, they'll call you a liar and say that's not what they told you. No need to talk to a manager, because they'll always be in meetings, and it'll take "up to 24 hours for them to call you back", but they don't mean that. You won't get an update. Then, with no phone calls, they'll send you an email saying the bike was delivered! And too the wrong location at that. Luckily I had someone check where they said it was delivered (was supposed to be delivered to my work address, but they said it was delivered at my house, which is in a cul-de-sac which they say they can't deliver to anyhow) and they confirmed there was no bike. So, if you don't mind buying a bike, but not actually getting the bike, go ahead and use this company. But if you actually want what you paid for, use literally any other company. read more

PART 1 My personal nightmare with Haul Bikes/Daily Direct began when I purchased a 2020 Harley Davidson Low Rider S (FXLRS) from a dealer in Pennsylvania in June of 2020. I received my first email from Andrea "Andie" Kloeden stating that they would be picking the bike up from the dealer between June 22 thru June 30. Wow, an estimate with an 8 day timeframe but ok. As I look over the order closer I see that it's for a different bike altogether! I call Andie and leave a message but she doesn't call me back that day so I wait and try again the next day but still no reply. I email her about the mistake and I get an email reply that she's out of office until next week. I call the dealer where I bought the bike from and he gets things straightened out with the correct info. The wait begins. Surprisingly I get an email on June 27th saying that the bike was picked up and it's on its way to their Las Vegas hub. I decide to email Andie again on June 30th to get a better idea of transport times but she doesn't reply. On July 2nd I get an update email saying that the bike has just arrived at their Las Vegas terminal and that their dispatch "will be looking at routing options for fastest delivery". Yes, it might get here even sooner than expected! Nope, that didn't happen. I email Andie on July 7th for an update but no response. On July 10th I get an email saying that my bike "has been assigned to a delivery driver who plans to deliver between July 14-16". On July 14th I got a call from Justin the driver saying that he could deliver the bike tomorrow (the 15th) if I wanted to meet him at a location so he didn't have to drive into San Francisco, so I asked him if the battery was charged but he didn't know so I told him that I'd just wait the extra day and have him bring it to my house. That turned out to be the best decision, thankfully. It turns out that Justin had to drive into the city anyway since he had a pickup to do at San Francisco Harley so it puzzled me as to why he wanted to meet me somewhere else for our meetup. Anyway, once he started to unload my bike he asks me why I didn't have any front brakes. I thought he was just joking with me since he saw how eager I was getting my bike delivered. As he starts to lower the bike from the top deck he shows me that the front brake lever has zero pressure and that somebody left a note on the mirror saying do not touch the brakes. He says he has no idea what happened and that the note was on there when he picked up the bike in Vegas. Ok let me call the dealer that I bought the bike from to see what's up, but as expected, he didn't know what happened either. He stated that he test rode the bike right before they loaded it up for transport and everything was fine. After checking the brake lines for leaks I finally spot the problem-somebody snapped the hard ABS brake lines that attach to the underside of the lower triple tree! Whoever did it failed to mention it to anyone, yet they cleaned up the mess that I'm sure they made when they snapped them apart! WOW. There was no brake fluid on my front fender or tire so they were diligent enough to wipe everything down but not ethical enough to take the blame. Once I found the problem I started a claim with Andie and it has yet to be resolved. They made ME do all of the leg work instead of having someone assigned to do this after one of their employees damaged my bike. I had to call around to get repair estimates at the 2 nearest Harley dealerships without being able to ride my bike there since I have no front brakes. I didn't want to get it towed from 1 shop and then to another shop because I'd have to come out the pocket myself. Of course both shops wanted to see the bike up close to make a fair estimate but instead I had to explain to each shop my dilemma and they ended up giving me fair estimates that were similar. I emailed these estimates to Andie on Wednesday July 22nd but guess what? She was out of office again until the following week! I call Haul Bikes and ask them for somebody who can help me with my claim and they say that they'll look into it and call me back, meanwhile they give me an email address to submit my estimates to (service@haulbikes.com). Instead of a callback they send me an email saying they can't find my claim because the DRIVER didn't open one and I'd have to wait for Andie to get back on Monday because she has all of the paperwork. Really? Wait for her again? Geez, this lady is out of office more than she is working on her accounts. Must be nice to not have to care about somebody missing a primary source of transportation. I felt no sense of urgency or compassion from this company even though they put me in this situation. I call the company on Friday July 24th and ask to speak to a Service Manager and I'm transferred to the voicemail of Josh. Haul Bikes Daily Direct is a failing logistics supplier. Their enterprise resource planning is a nightmare and their customer service reps are rude and defensive as a result. Regarding my past due delivery; I was told I could fly to Vegas and pick the bike up myself if I wanted it on schedule. Kat is her name. They provide no communication, no status updates, and still haven't delivered my bike. Joshua is all smiles while quoting dates that can't be met, Ruth took my money - no problem, Kat is as rude as they come, and Bob Kilmer (ops manager) is trying to put out all the fires while missing his delivery dates. Horrible customer service. Takes several attempt to reach some via email. Took several calls to escalate an issue. After hearing over the phone that my expected delivery date was delayed due to mechanical issues with the shipment truck I canceled my shipment order. They informed me that canceling would cost me $100 and do refer to the contract on how these issues are covered by the contract. Poor costumer service, poor communication and once you sign the contract they are not responsible for any issues they have that may negatively impact the customer. I should have learned from the last time I had issues, but they were the only option I had for my move. Daily Direct Haul Bikes review. After researching my options and being assured multiple times by multiple sales agents that my bike would be delivered at the destination between July 18 and August 1, 2022. I contracted Daily Direct Haul Bikes to ship my bike from Western Kentucky to New Hampshire for a ride my wife and I were taking beginning on August 6, 2022 in Manchester NH. The contract was signed on June 14 and stated the bike would be picked up between June 16 and June 26. My bike was picked up July 3. On Monday July 25 (one week before latest delivery date) I called DDHB to see how things were going and confirm that my bike would be delivered in time. First they said estimated delivery date is August 8-10, when I informed them that was AFTER I would be leaving New Hampshire and would not work they immediately said the estimated delivery date was August 6-8, STILL on or after my departure date and not acceptable. They told me that was just an estimated date and there was nothing they could do. The bike had been sitting in their warehouse in Harrisburg PA for some time and they could not get it the last 400 miles on time even though they have small trailers and pick up trucks at their Harrisburg location. I changed our flights, took more time from work, paid $200 to rent a car to go 90 miles to their warehouse and had to pay for three extra nights in hotels to get my bike to the original starting point to have tires put on that I had already paid for. Daily Direct Haul Bikes never even cared enough to allow me to speak to a manager even though I requested many times. In the end they credited me $145 for not being able to fulfill their end of our agreement. I was trying not to have to take more time off work and incur more expenses but I would have been better off to have just planned from the start to take the extra few days and rode from the start. I've had quite a few bikes shipped over the years - both as buyer and seller, with several different national shipping companies specializing in motorcycles. Haulbikes was by far the WORST experience I have ever had. After over a month of waiting, they brought the WRONG bike to my house. Several days later, they finally figured out where my bike was. Instead of making the relatively straight route north from Las Vegas to Boise, my bike instead was routed to Missouri. After Missouri, it then went north to Wisconsin. A few weeks later, they sent it back to Las Vegas, so it would be closer to me. All through the process, they apologized and said they would get it to me as soon as they could. This apparently meant that if they happened to ever have a truck coming my way, they'd put it on there, even if that meant a few more weeks of waiting. All I got were excuses and commitments that meant nothing. Meanwhile, I lost time, money, and what was left of my riding season. If they really cared about their customer, they would have made whatever arrangements were necessary to get the bike delivered. Divert a shipment, hire a subcontractor or competitor to deliver the bike, spend a little money to make their customer happy. None of that was done. Over two months later, they were still delaying and making excuses for their failure to deliver. I will never use them again, and strongly encourage others to find a different shipper. From my experience there are other, much more reliable alternatives who care about pleasing their customers. read more

My friend is the actual customer of Haul Bikes. He's never home so he asked me to do the truck pick up transaction of the business. The driver was great about communicating the pick up time. He was running a pinch behind schedule but was great about calling to update me about when he would be there. The truck is really, really large. Good thing I live on a wide street. If you live on a narrow street, you might consider arranging for an alternative pick-up location where a big rig would have access in and out of the area. Also be prepared to give the truck driver directions for freeway on/off ramps that can accommodate such a large truck. The driver was well kept, friendly, and thorough with the paperwork. The inside of the cargo space of the truck was really clean. I was skeptical at first about my friend shipping a bike without a crate but the inside of this truck is really set up for it with areas to tie down the bikes. They appeared to be very secure. The truck had a lift so no having to run a heavy bike up a ramp. The drop off was really easy. Now let's just hope that they've changed their business model since all of those negative reviews have come in. I hope that my friend gets his bike when he needs it and without issues. Here's a summary of my Haul Bikes experience: - Paid for standard rate shipping on 6/24/2019 to get a bike from Maryland to California. Estimated arrival date was quoted as 7/24/2019. - I emailed 7/2/2019 to let Haul Bikes know that I was moving to a different state at the end of July and it was important the bike arrive by then. I explained that if the bike didn't arrive by July it would need to go to New Mexico instead of California which would be a pain for everyone. I originally scheduled for the bike to be delivered to my parents' address because they were more available to receive the bike (this detail will come into play later...) - Bike finally picked up on 7/17/2019 after very little communication with Haul Bikes and lots of emails saying my order was not yet scheduled. - My July deadline is missed; I asked for Haul Bikes to hold my bike at their Las Vegas warehouse until I was settled into a new place with a garage. - On 8/24/2019 I provided my new address and asked that the bike be delivered after 9/15/2019 when my lease started. - On 8/27/2019 I am told that they do not service this ZIP code; after some back-and-forth Haul Bikes agrees to deliver to my address. - On 9/3/2019 I tell Haul Bikes that I will be out of town from 9/27/2019 through 9/30/2019. - On 9/24/2019 I am told that my delivery is scheduled from 9/24/2019 to 9/27/2019. I remind them I am out of town on 9/27/2019 and cannot accept the bike. They suggest I try a local dealer (there are none within an hour radius). I am finally told via email "Well then fingers crossed it delivers on 9/26" (this is the entirety of the email...how professional). - On 9/25/2019 my dad in California receives a call from the driver that the bike is in California and would be delivered to him on 9/26/2019. Recall the bike was supposed to go to me in New Mexico. - The bike returns to the Las Vegas warehouse and is finally delivered to me on 10/4/2019. The bike is in pretty good shape but there's significant damage to a sticker on the swingarm. - On 10/15/2019 I email Haul Bikes to request a $200 refund given that I received "Saver" shipping speed but paid for the "Standard" rate. The email was never returned and I am currently working to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I have spent countless hours dealing with Haul Bikes and at this point would gladly pay an extra couple hundred to deal with a better shipper. Luckily the damaged swingarm sticker isn't a huge deal but I'm not all that pleased that the bike wasn't delivered in the same condition it was shipped in. With all of this said I would like to note that the drivers who delivered the bike were great. If you are shipping a bike from one retiree or dealer to another (i.e., both shipper and receiver are available all day to ship or receive a bike at the drop of a hat) and aren't in a hurry whatsoever, perhaps dealing with Haul Bikes is worth it given their low prices. Was quoted a delivery date but Bike pick up was delayed by one week. A week later driver calls to announce pick up the next day. I take the day off in order to be there for the pick up. The driver calls the day of pick up to tell me that a dealer shipment was prioritized and he will not be able to pick up the bike as the truck is full. No apologies were extended from anyone. Bike was again delayed for pick up and dropp off. Had to send my bike to a dealership for storage as I am travelling overseas (this was mentioned to your representative when I rceived the quote for dropp off on the 29th of July). Still no apologies, one of your representatives stated that I will be receiving a partial refund or credit which never happened. Haulbikes the gift that keeps on giving. I used Haulbikes to move a brand new Bike from St. Louis to Vegas in earlier 2021. I have 3000 miles on the bike since it was delivered (it took 3 months) and the right fork seal is blown. Never use Haulbikes. read more

I used this service to ship a motorcycle from Colorado to Virginia. I give them one star because they never completed the move. They picked the bike up in Colorado two weeks after the expiration of their promised two-week window: that is, a month after I paid them for shipping. Then, they moved the bike from one warehouse to another, finally letting it linger in a warehouse in Pennsylvania. It was in that warehouse for more than a month. During that time, I would call about once per week, and receive a promise of a delivery later that week. After the 3rd or 4th non-delivery, the friend to whom it was supposed to be delivered used his personal vehicle to make a 300+ mile round trip to the warehouse and pick it up. So, I did finally get the bike to its destination, more than 2 months after paying for it, and only through the kindness of a friend. The bike was handled with care, and arrived undamaged. But there is too much uncertainty with this service, and they are not honest about their scheduling plans. I will not use Haulbikes again. Cap Smith read more

Daily direct is haulbikes. And how bikes is a bunch of criminals who will take your money and never pick up your machine! They take your money before they ever do anything for you they say it takes 6 months for them to refund it they lie even to the better Business bureau they refuse to be a decent business they charge you late fees when they miss the window for pickup! You would be better off pushing your machine home then having them deliver it for you! read more

Moved from CA to FL. Pick up was late by one week. Expected delivery date was supposed to be a month ago and I yet have to receive my bike. Communication has been extremely poor, no updates, only a couple of emails only after I emailed them. Company is now claiming (for the second time) mechanical problems with their trucks (first in California, now again in Florida). At this point I do not believe what they are saying, I shall be taking legal action regardless of when the bike gets delivered (assuming it does...). Do not waste your time and money with this company, I hope this helps you. read more

Very poor delivery times! My delivery date which was originally two weeks after pickup has now stretched into four weeks "or longer". The office gives vague responses about when delivery might occur. They say they are dealing with injured drivers, sick drivers and a lack of drivers. Great. They sure didn't have any problems the day they booked my job and were paid in full in advance! I understand that $#!& happens. I understand that people are sometimes out. But for HaulBikes to have KNOWN they had problems when they took the job, and for HaulBikes to not have a plan so a delivery date can be given is just very bad business practice. I'd think long and hard before booking HaulBikes if I were you. read more

Worst service ever, would not recommend.. it took almost a month and a half to have my bike picked up, now it's been a month and the bike has still not been delivered. They have no idea when it'll will arrive and every week I call to get an update no one is able to provide me with any info other than it should be soon. read more

Bought my bike on June 15th, Made arrangements with Haulbikes late June, signed contract on July 1st. They told me My bike would get there no later then Aug 3rd. I called on the 3rd and they said it was delayed, that they would move my bike from Florida to Vegas Terminal and I would have it no later then Aug 14th. I just called today (aug 13) and my bike is still in Florida with no date on when it will be delivered any more. This is un-acceptable. 6 weeks As of tommorrow is not acceptable. Who knows how long it will take to actually get my bike. Unbelievable. read more

HORRIBLE! I have used this company in the past. But they have changed. Missed three pick up of my bike. 3 weeks and going at this point. PS I paid up front $850..... Everyone puts the blame on someone else. I have had bikes in The Art of the Motorcycle. Really disappointed!!!! read more
